    I found long ago that Orei is the Best Video Management hardware ever! They not only cover all the bases, they take care of more than you expect. Their EDID handling even works with Samsung TVs. As in this video their gear is well made with a ton of options at an affordable price. Their Customer Service is as if your Best Friend is helping you. You can't miss with Orei!

    I have an old Denon AVR4308ci receiver for powering my sound system which works great in the main room with sound coming off the HDMI cable. However, when I want to listen to the sound (of say the 4K TV) in Zone 2 (which is farther away), Denon will only pass analog sound signals to Zone 2. Would this be a good setup to still allow me to continue to send the digital signal to the main zone, as well as an analog signal to zone 2? Ever since I upgraded my cable box to 4K, and no long have an analog sound output, I have been desperately seeking a solution.

    If I run hdmi from my TV into this device, and then go optical or coax out to my integrated amplifier (it has a dac) would I have benefit of CEC still?

    I was wondering if you could tell me if this product would work for me
    I have an LG C2 77" tv with an ARC/EARC HDMI input and an older Pioneer VSX-33 that is ARC capable. So I have a cable running from tv to receiver to use ARC for sound from my tv and bluray players ( connected to my Pioneer)to my audio system.
    What I wish to do is add the compatable LG soundbar SC9S to my system for audio options.
    With only the one ARC/EARC input on the tv, would this product work as a splitter to hook up both the sound bar and Pioneer to this one port to switch back and forth to use both audio soutces for my system?
    If not is there a product that would work to accomplish having these two audio sources capable of switching between them? Thanks

    I ran into the similiar issues with older but very capable recievers that couldnt pass thru 4k .. eaxmple being an apple tv 4k , with a 4k tv but older receiver.. routing thru the reciever gets you 1080p max ..in order to get the hd audio to reciever and 4k to screen I used a ViewHD UHD 18Gbps Audio Extractor Support HDMI v2.0 | HDCP v2.2 | 4K@60Hz | HDR | Dolby Vision | ARC |... I used to think this was outrageously priced at 60 bucks but compared to the one here from orei, its a bargain... Granted, the orei is a more advanced box with Earc capability but if you just wanted to bypass the limitations of an old reciever to pass 4k to screen while Still getting the HD audio passed thru to it, there are cheaper alternatives...the 200.00 for the orei is more than I spent getting the receiver itself on ebay.... ps : bro, ur reviews Are Great! really informative and very helpful for the home theater crowd! ive been a subscriber but had forgotton about ur channel till it popped up onscreen...impressive work.

    Is this similar to HD Fury?

    • @TwoGuyzTech
      @TwoGuyzTech  9 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for watching! It does have some of the features of the HD Fury units, though it is more specific/niche for tasks like splitting the eARC signal from a TV for example. We actually have an HD Fury VRROOM unit in for review, and it has a lot more capabilities (like the HDMI switching with 4 inputs, Dolby Vision, etc.) we will try to make some comparisons between the units in our review! Hope this helps :)

      @@TwoGuyzTech yes that will be very helpful. I am looking at getting the VRROOM myself so anything you can share will be very helpful.

    Am just so tired of the nonstop constant "upgrades" continually rolled out, not just on AV equipment, but on computers, cell phones, etc. Despite the claimed benefits of all the new interfaces, the reality clearly is they're just a money grab by all the companies who want us to buy new equipent and replace all of our cables. Composite, SVHE & component were so reliable & easy to use compared to HDMI, and you never see any side by side comparisons between new & old cable interfaces vs the substantial cost required to update a system. I have a large crate filled with composite, SVHS, component, HDMI (various versions). Composite & SVHS were much easier to use and not significantly .worse.
