Genuinely, the current situation with Strength actually makes me pretty happy. A lot of frames I play would actually benefit from having more range than I run, but I was locked into my setup by the fact that I needed a particular amount of strength to do something I wanted/needed (i.e. Gloom's 90% slow).

Limbo rift does nothing to eximus and any nearby linked troops which makes it so that limbo cannot shoot eximus when they're in the bubble with him, he has to close it or die. Because of that it is pretty hard to troll as limbo, especially in steel path which is all I play
Honestly I really like the idea of "powerful but requires micromanagement", it's why I play my god awful, Limbo build running both rift torrent and surging blades with minimum range and rolling guard. If I play well and pay attention to all the timers, I have a trash mob slash nuke, capable defense tools with a tiny cataclysm, and an infinitely scaling damage buff. If I don't play well or pay attention to timers, surroundings, and enemy states, eximus units erase me, my aquablades deal zero damage, and my lack of stasis turns my defensive cataclysm into an energy waste and my rift surge damage buff into a huge threat to my survivability. It's a fully viable Limbo build for any level range that could wipe the walls with enemies, but also requires you to... you know... pay attention to the game you're playing? Yes I should be executed by firing squad for running a build like this, but it does convey the point really well
Mesa is something that has always appealed to me for this reason: She is PAPER if you're not paying attention to timers. 125 armor, and no decent builds that improve that, is FELT. She's strong, sure. But you have to make her strong, and the Helminth/Galvanized mods really did a great deal for her. I remember that I used to struggle in SP with her before all that.
"powerful but requires micromanagement" only works for longer missions. Also, I refuse to push 8k+ buttons on my keyboard, so I can get 50 endo at the end of a mission.
@@Existential_Robot wdym lol, you only have to pay attention to a single number only. 3 almost out, rolling guard at the last second, recast, done. Heck, you don't even need to really pay attention either, as there is a sound cue when 3 is out. You hear it, roll and recast. You're unlikely to die within that time frame either, now that shieldgating is a thing. Meaning that, given you still have shield, as long as your reaction speed is anything faster than 1.3s, you don't even need to look at the number.
So here's a fun project I'm working on with some friends. 385% Strength Nidus w/ Energy Conversion, the parazon mod, Empower, Invigoration, Sling Strength, Wellspring (other player), Molt Vigor and Augmented, Pax Bolt, Equinox with augment, and 4x Growing Power + 4x Coaction Drifts gives you ~1,132% power strength for 1 cast. Do this in a relic mission and the corrupted buff should DOUBLE it, giving the Nidus about 2,264% strength. This gives roughly 566% additional strength to the target, then doubled to 1,132% from linked targets corruption buff. Do this on a frame with about 355% base and do all of the above, you should get a single cast with roughly 14,678% strength. We're do this on Wisp which should give just above 44K additional health and god knows how much speed. Still have yet to do it, but we hit 30k months ago while missing several components.

Power strength is one of those stats that kinda dont break the game the more you have of it, especially when you consider in the fact every ability in this game has diminishing returns when you swap out another mod for more strength... most builds in this game just care about getting enough strength to reach a certaint treshhold anyways
I find it kinda funny that wukong clone procs augmented, but not on call crew member Also wukongs automation is somewhat nice for a nice long solo mission if I have been doing it for ages and am slightly burned out by it, but personally almost never bring him to a pub mission, only exeption being free roam like fortuna where I’ll still be solo for 80% of the time in my 4 or so hours endurance run

I'm definitely happy with more power strength options opening up more builds. I've got a concentrated arrow ivara build that actually starts with 40% power strength for maxed range and high duration/efficiency, but by the time I've got all the buffs to really make the bow shine, the power strength for it is like 195%. Going fully positive across the board like that with no downside for the simple fact of chaining things and putting the effort towards it feels so rewarding. And yes Wukong is still super braindead and powerful 0/10 would never use again

My favourite part about the whole 'if Wukong gets nerfed, people will just use warframe X' is that they act like I don't want to see more frame variety. What's even better is when they rattle off a whole clutch of warframes, or when different people name different warframes to fill the wukong niche. Like, I even saw yareli mentioned once (turn on max duration aquablades, park frame in a doorway and then play operator for a couple minutes) as a suggested alternative to wuclone AFK.

I liked the high strength Titania bit, outside of landscapes being above 250% and more than 2 stacks makes the speed uncontrolable, but you need it to make the exalted weapons strong somehow. :)

My favorite ways of using our newly granted sources of power, aside from madurai and it's free natural talent alongside a 40% strength increase, is how i can disregard efficiency on every frame I run vitality on because of molt reconstruct and rage, it saves some crazy space to only run blind rage and just use the arcane to heal yourself with any ability.
I just use wukong for cloudwalker and his general not dying. Most of the time I forget to use his clone. And when I do, its just extra dps. I don't think automation is why wukong is the most used frame. And DE going into the nerfs with that mindset probably won't change anything.
Same. Clone is useful, yes, not denying that, but even if they cut the clone entirely, or nerf the damage into the ground, Cloud Walker and his general stats will be enough to keep me using him on the regular.
I would argue that at least Octavia with high power strength and duration is more engaging than Wukong because at least I can kill enemies with the dumbest music imaginable and have to manage several different durations, instead of sitting in equivalent of my highschool locker I spent 4 years in (unwillingly) and watching the embodiment of two action figures smashing into one another. Well the Game incentives to play with the lowest effort tools you have at your disposal everything that doesnt automatizate your grind its trash Even if they Nerf wukong ,the Gameplay its going to keep feeling like a waste of your time since they didnt change the foes in those 7 years of development they dont spice the dificulty and everything you can obtain you can get It either by trade or farming no challenge or skill need it to earn anything Remenber when ephemeras was a reward for a challenge? they didnt even last a week without been remove from certain challenges to earn them to: here a npc shop buy one or killed the stalker and praised the ranald rng so he give you his ephemera
once again i whole heartedly agree. frames like mesa or titania or khora aren't broken because they require some form of set up and thus give a pay off. monkey doesn't do that he literally hits 1 and the game plays itself. again i feel that the best nerf for him would be a duration for his clone to bring it in with other companion summons like atlas' rumblers and calibans sentient buddies.
wukong still being at large for bonkers powerscaling makes me feel bad for frames like banshee, who feel like they got nerfed out of the "this is doable and _fun_" crowd, like how did this happen, max rank sonic boom, her 1, makes enemies 3 meters away fall on their ass for a few seconds, 2 and 3 are utilities ultimately so who cares, but her 4, sound quake, is barely viable in sub level-15 defense, cuz it does maybe 200 dps within its range
As a Limbo main who been playing this game for a very long way too long of a time. My comment has nothing to do with Warframe but another game! Same problem is in Guild Wars 2 with Mechanist. Mech does all the damage and gameplay for you! You leave a stack of coins or tape down your One Button Key. Such fun riveting gameplay! But back to Warframe, Auto pilot gameplay is not healthy for games AT ALL. I get it seeing big numbers are fun, But wouldn't be more fun if you did the big numbers?
Its a PVE game. Why are u salty about others having fun with a frame? It always goes over my head. If u think Wukong is not your playstyle by all means MOVE ON. There are plenty of other frames. Mind your business fun police
I think what they should do is basically do another mood where it's kind of like steel path but it's a cross between that and the Grendel missions so basically it's like absolutely no mods and you're basically at base level balanced and it requires your team to actually work together so they wouldn't even have to worry about power creep or mods the only mods that would count would be augmented and that's it. It's a way to keep the regular path for newer players who definitely don't have mods and then on steel path you can still kind of just see how much you're just crushing the enemy but on the new mode it's an actual challenge we're going to have to actually work together it doesn't even have to be a new mode it could just be like arbitration where it rotates every hour and you can still revive like with the Grendel missions but you're going to have to really work with your team on this mode because you're going to have like level 60 or 70 enemies and just your teammates so if you're not using each other's abilities if you're not working together you are not going to work you're not going to win. Cuz this game in all honesty it needs a mission that rotates or like a mode like steel pad which I think you know what the the mission rotation would be better where the team really does have to plan and work together to beat it. Whether that involves them bringing in for embers or a bunch of defensive frames or support attack and defensive the players have to purposely plan. Or maybe in the spy missions there is no getting seen otherwise you will automatically lose so you're going to have to be still or kill the enemy before they race the alarm using silent weapons.
i dont know how de plan to create meaningful content that's engaging and difficult with the current sate of balance. i really hope a aoe nerf comes soon i have been almost an exclusively solo/invonly player for the last 7 ish years and public game just seem to get worse and worse each year i pop my head in, its embarrassing that this game really can be compared to a mobile clicker...

Ok, but like, how do *I*, as someone who is so far behind everyone else in terms of power, catch up? I don't know what half the mods or arcanes are, nor how to farm them. It would be nice to not lose most of my lives for some missions, not stay away from Steel Path anymore, and overall not feel sorry for myself because I can't do anything with anyone else.

i never considered minmaxing power strength like that. i'm gonna try and get arbitration buff levels of Baruuk daggers next time i log on, and while that may be capped at 54 or so, i'm gonna go higher than that just to push the status chance on his exalted with the augment. hmmm.
i have been able to experiment with so many new playstyles and augments. shout out to equinox having 2 channel abilities and a god tier augment with 80% slow, also shout out to duality ;^)

I use 3 augments on my nekros so being able to free up Strength mods for my Shield of Shadows has been sooo helpful. I actually have RANGE now.
Just wait for it, DE will nerf those extra power strength solutions.

DO THIS WITH THE NEW PARASITIC VITALITY MOD KEKW + Conjuction survival would get the 14k to something in the lines off 21k strength.

i think its because the clone counts as an ability kill but not the crew member, hence the clone counts as you killing the enemy and you get the buff

frames like mesa or titania or khora aren't broken because they require some form of set up and thus give a pay off.
monkey doesn't do that he literally hits 1 and the game plays itself.
again i feel that the best nerf for him would be a duration for his clone to bring it in with other companion summons like atlas' rumblers and calibans sentient buddies.
wukong still being at large for bonkers powerscaling makes me feel bad for frames like banshee, who feel like they got nerfed out of the "this is doable and _fun_" crowd, like how did this happen, max rank sonic boom, her 1, makes enemies 3 meters away fall on their ass for a few seconds, 2 and 3 are utilities ultimately so who cares, but her 4, sound quake, is barely viable in sub level-15 defense, cuz it does maybe 200 dps within its range

Same problem is in Guild Wars 2 with Mechanist.
Mech does all the damage and gameplay for you! You leave a stack of coins or tape down your One Button Key.

But back to Warframe, Auto pilot gameplay is not healthy for games AT ALL. I get it seeing big numbers are fun, But wouldn't be more fun if you did the big numbers?

I think what they should do is basically do another mood where it's kind of like steel path but it's a cross between that and the Grendel missions so basically it's like absolutely no mods and you're basically at base level balanced and it requires your team to actually work together so they wouldn't even have to worry about power creep or mods the only mods that would count would be augmented and that's it.
It's a way to keep the regular path for newer players who definitely don't have mods and then on steel path you can still kind of just see how much you're just crushing the enemy but on the new mode it's an actual challenge we're going to have to actually work together it doesn't even have to be a new mode it could just be like arbitration where it rotates every hour and you can still revive like with the Grendel missions but you're going to have to really work with your team on this mode because you're going to have like level 60 or 70 enemies and just your teammates so if you're not using each other's abilities if you're not working together you are not going to work you're not going to win. Cuz this game in all honesty it needs a mission that rotates or like a mode like steel pad which I think you know what the the mission rotation would be better where the team really does have to plan and work together to beat it. Whether that involves them bringing in for embers or a bunch of defensive frames or support attack and defensive the players have to purposely plan. Or maybe in the spy missions there is no getting seen otherwise you will automatically lose so you're going to have to be still or kill the enemy before they race the alarm using silent weapons.
i dont know how de plan to create meaningful content that's engaging and difficult with the current sate of balance. i really hope a aoe nerf comes soon i have been almost an exclusively solo/invonly player for the last 7 ish years and public game just seem to get worse and worse each year i pop my head in, its embarrassing that this game really can be compared to a mobile clicker...

Ok, but like, how do *I*, as someone who is so far behind everyone else in terms of power, catch up? I don't know what half the mods or arcanes are, nor how to farm them. i have been able to experiment with so many new playstyles and augments. shout out to equinox having 2 channel abilities and a god tier augment with 80% slow, also shout out to duality ;^)
