If an A1 mk2, I’m really hoping for significant video improvements like 8K 60p or more variety with external output options (similar to R5C) and faster readout to reduce rolling shutter. Just my wishlist.

The Sony a7iii still has better autofocus than Nikons whole mirrorless line up. Sony needs 12fps mechanical and at least 20fps electronic to be perfect.
I'd settle for a new and improved macro lens and a new RX100. Why, in 2024 and soon 2025 do we need a fixed lens camera? That is so limiting. The Sony A7CR/II, for instance, fixed with a 40mm 2.8 lens would be virtually the same thing but better. We can mix and match parts we already have to create our own faux fixed lens camera without the penalty of having a lens that is not interchangeable.
My guess, improved stabilization to compete vs what Lumix has. However... it should have been a firmware update to existing camera rather than a new product. I hate this about Sony.
It's about time for Sony to push back at Canon (particularly at the R6II) as well as Nikon ( at the awesome Z6III) with the Sony A7V, the Sony A7Iv is getting very loooooooong in the tooth.
You will get the final confirmation at the day SONY announces the new product. It's as simple as that. Everything else will just keep your channel going.

It has to be the Sony A7S4. It is next in line. They are not killing that camera.
A fixed lens full frame would be amazing! My RX1 R2 needs replacing. For me that would be the most exciting announcement from Sony, if it ever comes.
A new fixed lens camera would be nice. Or at least some kind of good quality pancake lens without buttons and no aperture ring to keep things small.
