Dragonaut by Sleep, so many riffs from Modest Mouse - criminally underrated band in general(the opening riff of Teeth Like God's Shoeshine, all of Doin the Cockroach, the seagull guitars of Make Everyone Happy/Mechanical Birds), Virginia Reel Around the Mountain by the Halo Benders has wonderful licks in it. Great! And with J Mascis guitar! Could you please tell me your thoughts about it? I looking for a guitar on a budget and this is one of the possibilities.. Thank you!
The bridge pickup can be a little shrill/thin sounding at high gain. But if you dial in the distortion correctly you can compensate. I even have a couple Iron Maiden videos with this guitar, the palm muting can sound great in certain contexts
@@eastvillageguitarmethoddd Thanks for answering ^^ When it comes to buy on a budget it's like too decisive which guitar you choose. Thanks a lot again!

Cheers! The Mascis jazzmaster handles heavy tones really well, but the palm mutes can be a little thin when you’re using a lot of overdrive. But it’s overall one of the most diverse guitars I’ve ever used

The underlying drum rhythm is in 4/4, so I decided to notate the guitar that way. I ended on a measure of 5/4 so that the riff would cut off at a natural place
@@eastvillageguitarmethoddd How the drums highlight the guitar.
