What a great topic you have choosed..we are 24 hours busy..running behind everything..whenever we get a free time we relax by taking our phone..we only give rest to our body but never to mind..to have a art of listening we need to develop some 'me time' away from phone office family ..when we can listen to ourselves ..we will automatically have patience to delevop the quality of listening to others ..it enhaces empathetic attitude ..and we realise we don't have to react on many issues ..and life gets much more smooth..
Art of listening നമ്മൾ സ്വയം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയെടുക്കേണ്ട ഒരു കഴിവാണ്. സാധാരണഗതിയിൽ നമ്മൾക്ക് ഇഷ്ടപെട്ട tv discussion അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മതപ്രഭാഷണങ്ങൾ, പ്രസംഗങ്ങൾ എല്ലാം നാം ശ്രദിച്ചു കേൾക്കാറുണ്ട്. ചിലർ പലപ്പോഴും മറു പക്ഷം കേൾക്കുവാൻ താല്പര്യപെടാത്തവരാണ്. ഉദാഹരണത്തിന് ശ്രീ അർണാബ് ഗോസ്വാമി സംഭാഷണത്തിനിടയിൽ tv dissussion നു വരുന്ന അതിഥികളെ അഭിപ്രായം /എതിരഭിപ്രായം പറയുവാനോ ശരിക്കു സംസാരിക്കുവാനോ സമ്മധിക്കാറില്ല. യിവരെ പോലുള്ളവർ തന്റെ വാദമുഖമാണ് എപ്പോഴും ശരി എന്ന് വാദിക്കുന്നവരാണ്.

We all confine the talk of 'art of listening' to something what we hear through ears patiently. But some people who seem to be listening ie keeping quiet when the other person speaks might not be a good listener. He would not have applied his mind and concentration. So majority of the things he would not have digested properly. My point is broader than this. Art of listening should also be extended to the information one tend to get from other sources ie today it could be social media and from text messages/data. People who speak can only reproduce what they already know. But when we listen, we get more info.
