@@modalla07 The gag is how Kagura uses a style of speech similar to Chinese immigrants in early Japan , adding "- Aru" at the end of every sentence, but occasionally she would slip into casual Japanese.

@@wesleybush2592 Well the first 2 episodes were fillers to celebrate the manga getting an anime adaptation (it was supposed to be an OAV). After that, the first 20 episodes are there to introduce most of the recurring characters. Then the anime gets better and better, this anime is appealing because of all the differents emotions it makes you feel (you could cry and then laugh a few seconds layer). It's mainly a comedy, but when there are serious arc (the first one being like at the episodes ~55) it's really well written and the fights are top notch too. The other reason why some people don't find it interesting at first is because of the culture gap. I can't explain it very well so if someone's interested I'd recommend reading a review made by someone who watched the anime.
