After Around The Sun was a bit dull, I think REM finished pretty well. While not on the level of their best work, Accelerate and CIN were both pretty strong
R.e.m. is without a question my favorite band of all time collapse to me is a good record not great but pretty good I enjoy it was waiting for the tour then the rug was pulled out from under me but was lucky enough to see them 3 times all in Massachusetts I believe 2003 2004 and then 2008 that night in 03 was a amazing night for myself

Some folks are stuck working in offices, though 'cos they ain't talented rock musicians - or haven't had the breaks. Don't make it sound like a choice - either be a successful musician, or be a poor fried schmuck in an office. All that aside, though - they were still the best band in the world. Probably still are.
