As you go further east towards the Andaman Sea where Phuket and Krabi are, the weather becomes glorious for this time of the year. It is also the region's busiest tourist season. Expect a lot of cars and people. The seas will be incredibly calm. Great for any form of water activities.
Amazing cinematography. Thai tourism should be sponsoring you. Cycling those back roads is now on my bucketlist.
If I may be so bold: consider hopping over to Siem Reap Cambosia and riding the Ankor loops. One loop is 30k, the other 50k, each traversing the Angkor Wat complex of temples. Sooo many temples.
I realize YT is a thing for you & FC, but I can't express the delight & inspiration watching this trip has been.
And I've seen them all...
Thanks Lawrence & Happy Holidays
Glad you got the drone up today. ❤
Palm forest was beautiful, as you sped thru. Thank you, LC 🤩😊
OMG this was an amazing episode, I watch all and enjoy all episodes sooo much. But I really felt huuge energy watching this one, the energy is amazing, great ideas for angles, felt good together with you guys, thanks a lot!!
Great to get some drone shots really opens up the view of landscape. Francis always dresses for dinner
Lawrence was born to ride a bike.
Really, guys, you make my day. Everyday. Love your vlogs! 🥰🥰🥰
Great job boys , it’s really terrific to see you having so much enjoyment in a great country.
You guys make me smile 😀 thank you ❤
Great footage, if this doesn't make you want to ride bikes you best check your pulse. Beautiful country.
So awesome guys, always love to watch your videos mate, sorry it's ending, looking forward for the next ones 🤟
Looks like you're having a lot of fun, good to see you all smiling. Thanks for the entertaining dogs, and the much missed drone footage.
Lovely stuff...Yes Francis will be looking up drones on Amazon when he gets back. Actually I will too...this is the kind of footage I've been missing when pedalling through the Thai countryside...as you've found out, it can be really stunning, absolutely top notch bike touring.
Loving this tour, great video too 🚴♂️✅
Another great episode. Really enjoying this trip and your channel. Take care, Al
10:17 was a Carabao. A farm animal that helps farmers plow the ground and prepare it for planting. Watching all your videos (Cade Media) all the way from the Philippines! 🇵🇭 Hope you can also visit our country! Ride safe guys!
as fantastic as the content the lot of ya created, this edit was finestkind! thanks to all.
That's a water buffalo 🦬
Safe riding as always
I went to the Philippines in 2019 and happened upon 300 cyclists meeting up before a ride snd they were very enthusiastic🚲🇨🇦
Awesome drone footage!
Those are water buffalo. I think you guys should saw some while riding in malaysia. We do have those especially at Padi Fields where they use for soil ploughing.
Carabao
Love your vids over Francis’s. his are great too but you have the edge 👌
Excellent
If you guys end up in Rawai, Phuket and you need your bikes checked, I would recommend Together bike Phuket. The people are awesome and can fix anything related to bikes. FYI, they have detergent and fabric softener in small sachets in 7 Eleven, so you don't need to buy those large packets. They're really useful.
Blue sky … Woohooo! And yak! 🤣
👍
10:15 in the philippines we call it Carabao ☺
Sunshine at last.
When one of 24 spokes goes it won't be long until another one goes. I use at least 32 spoke wheels on all my bike tours and I've never had a broken spoke. I also always service my wheels and have the spokes tensioned before a long trip and carry a Fiberfix spoke repair kit.
36 touring is standard why do anything else
@@catsploitation True for loaded touring 36 is good and even 40 for tandems. However, it can be difficult to get 36 hole rims while 32 are pretty widely available. If you are bikepacking and keeping the load to ~ 20lbs they work well in my experience. 24 is asking for trouble.
Need to start planning that next adventure Lawrence.
Francis's marriage ?
Just tell him absence makes the heart grow fonder 💕
☀️ 🇹🇭
🧋🐿
DId you ever try the Amazon coffee at the PTT stations? Always good for the price 👍
that was a carabao / water buffalo
Yes Carabao, as in "Made in Thailand" 🎶
you rode through rubber plantations which may have been the material source for the very tires you were riding
It’s not a yak, it’s buffalo 😂😂😂. Domestic water buffalo
Was it curry? Also, James has a speaker, did you say he was playing mom music? What's on his momma playlist? Solid vid as always, thanks Lawrence.
What strap are you using for your camera? Good content!
The rock formations in this region are limestone karsts. They are the same as Ha Long Bay in your Project Vietnam Ride except Ha Long Bay is in the water and these limestone karsts are dry on land. There will be more as you head out to Phang Nga Bay and you will see lots of them that are in the water like Ha Long Bay.
Thank Lawrence and lads , do you keep a written journal ? Be safe
❤
You guys trying to get 7-11 on board to sponsor your next trip or what? Looks like some bloody good fun with bits of misery sprinkled along the way going on such a trip.
All the animals are Yaks!!
Oh also, I think it was a water buffalo 🐃
It was a water buffalo.
Dat is a water buffalo for working the paddy fields
That was a water buffalo
Project 7-11
Loved them, they all have AC 🥵
Burt Reynolds just rolled over in his grave.
Both videos from today used Jame's wheel problems as the main title but then almost no time was spent on the actual issue in either video. BLAH!
James’s affinity for stripes with virtually everything, is very much not shared by me. And it’s not slimming to the figure.
Has the Van Rysel done well though?
The music is awful.
Trek rider you are 80 years old
@@bbikerlawrence😂
@@bbikerlawrence Actually only 79
Welcome to Thailand everyone 🙏🏻💕🇹🇭
