Did you swap the machine half way through the video at 4.10 because the air hose changed from black to orange and blue and there is a silver screw to the left of the SCHEPPACH sticker which wasnt there on the first half of the video.
Good observations... No, the machine is the same but I swapped the original black air hose to a bit better and longer blue one I had at home. I also changed the original screw to a better one.
Does your's have "warts" of aluminum on the plate, i.e. a couple of little lumps (2mm diameter) of metal sticking up, not flush with the overall surface? Mine has, and it would give any piece of wood shoved over it several deep-ish scratches. Since one could ruin it (and the chance of return), I don't feel like filing them away. Also, the rim of the circular opening for the plastic disc to rest on is milled in a way that so that at the back end it is less deep than at the front, making the plastic disc skewed, and none of it is flush with the metal surface... makes it pretty useless for pieces of wood smaller than say 15cm ... that you could press onto the metal part of the plate in hopes of keeping it straight...
Also, if I let it run on low speed for 10 seconds, it starts to squeak with every movement... that does not seem promising wrt longevity... ;) I'm rather not sure whether to keep it
So have had a sheppach saw for a couple of years and will avoid this make from now on.My friend bought the same and thinks as I do.Maybe mine is slightly different model but the two of us felt like throwing it out the window.Yes it cuts but neither the blower or drill now work.To change a blade takes an age...I have removed a side panel to cope with this.Only good point is it takes both types of blade.Wish I could afford to change to different one.
I agree that the blower is pretty useless, but we must have a different version because I don't have any chuck, which I guess you mean when you say "drill". The thing is it is a cheap machine, so you get what you pay for, and should not expect a top quality machine at that price.
I just needed more light every time I worked on my scroll saw, so I came up with this idea, which I want to share with you.ruclips.net/video/7kmCsPvu-fc/видео.html&feature=share
Osama Karim, I own and use this machine. It works well, exactly as expected. Many people try to use if for what it is NOT been designed for, so if I'd recommend or not, depends on what you want to saw and which blades you are using. Default blades are only for wood, not thicker than 1" if soft wood, 1/2" if hard. If you want to saw metal you must get proper metal blades.
Every saw is noisy when in use. Simple fact. How noisy it is when cutting air is not important because once it starts cutting any material the noise depends on the material, the blade and how well you hold the material, as well as how well the saw is fixed to the table. If you allow vibrations then it will be noisy.
It doesn't matter how many comparisons you make. ...and why should we care and why should I believe you???? I bought this machine because I needed something similar and this was cheap. It is doing the job it was designed for quite well. That's it. I did not buy it as a collectors item just to be able to compare which one is quieter than the other. That sort of sandpit "mine is bigger than yours" type of small boys game is not interesting me at all.

How did you stop the noisy blade guard from rattling?
Adjust it so that the blade is not touching it.

No, mine is flat.

Hey, maybe you can apply this method to your scroll saw, to make it better:ruclips.net/video/9fQoa5ViXsI/видео.html

How easy is it to change pinless blades
I don't know. I only use pinned blades.
Aldi sells them at £60, although rebranded to their own Work Zone brand. Exact same model made by Scheppach.
That's a good price as well, though I paid about 35EUR which is about £30 for mine in a Swedish shop (Jula) during a fire sale.
I just got one with £19.99 from Aldi Lol.
I find it works very well. Especially after I printed a new insert.

@@yjiang7894 I just bought mine from Screwfix for £129.99
Does it come fully assembled?
Yes.
i think blade is for wood not for aluminium
Yes, I just tested it. Later I bought blades for metal also.
How much is it?
Depends on where you live... as you can see in the comments.
I live in iran
OK, but I am not, so I can not answer your question.
Piece of junk.....rather use my handheld saw than this junk
That's your opinion. I might not agree with such a blanket statement.
@@AdaptingCamera Mark Shaw have you tryet this machine? just asking because i maybe interesting in buy one

Adapting Camera still too noisy, you can compare the decibels with a simple phone app, I have tried 5 comparison in a workshop,,,, too noisy.
