I used to take his train often from Whitehaven to Carlisle and it is interesting to see it from above. You don't realise how close to the sea you are. I used to love it when the sea was rough. Amazing to watch especially as the train goes so slow. Not too rough though or the train would cancelled. Beautiful video. Well done.

Great video. thoroughly enjoyed it. Amazing how clear the water is (definitely a lot cleaner than it was back in the early 80's when I used to swim at Harrington).

So beautifully filmed, I was transported for a few minutes. ❤ What a rare treat to see a bird's eye view. It was a bit like watching a model railway, but mucn more spectacular of course! 😊I'm lucky enough to live in Cumbria, but I've never been to this part of the coast. Thanks very much and best wishes.

Very good idea using the drone to film the train's journey.
You could do it with more branch lines.
Of-course, main lines are too fast, but in any case, nearly always it's the secondary lines and branch lines that hold the most scenic interest.

Yes it was filmed over 2 days from 3 different vantage points as the drone looses signal when going around the bends, it also helps it's a very slow section. Thank you very much for watching 👍
