Mako Kobata (小幡 真子, Kobata Mako, born 15 February 1990 Kyoto) is a Japanese volleyball player. She plays for the Japan women's national volleyball team.

How come she isn't the best libero in world cup? I thought Japan won against China 3-0 in that match! At least the highlight showed that way!

Hahahha yeah usually japan wins in most highlights in volleyball games even if they lost the match. I guess because they are fan favorite (im a big fan as well). If japan won a medal, kobata surely will win best libero and sato as best setter but they only finished 5th.

ฉันไม่ได้เป็นติ่งนางหรอกนะ แต่หล่อนจะเอาช่วงที่อีกคนฟอร์มตกไปเทียบกับคนนี้ที่พึ่งขึ้นมายังสดๆ ใหม่ๆ ไม่ได้หรอกนะ อายุก็ต่างกัน สภาพร่างกายก็ต่างกัน แป้นก่อนที่คนจะแหกนางเยอะ ฟอร์มนางดีๆ คนหนึ่งเลยนะ ทั้งรับ ทั้งตบ ความคล่องตัวก็ไมได้แหกเหมือนตอนนี้ คนก็พึ่งมาแหกเยอะตอนปี 2017 นี้เอง นางก็ไม่ใช่จะฟอร์มไม่ดีตั้งแต่เข้าทีมชาตินิ แต่โดยรวมก็ให้ตัวรับญี่ปุ่นคนนี้ดีกว่าแป้น แต่การบอกพันเท่าก็ดูแบบแป้นนางไม่มีชิ้นดีเลยอ่ะ ตอนนี้ร่างกายแป้นนางไม่ไหวแล้วฟอร์มตกไปเยอะ ที่เห็นล่าสุดคือหุ่นอวบขึ้นเยอะมาก

I know this video is about Kobata, but can someone enlighten me is Arisa Sato already retired? Because after the 2016 Olympics, I’ve never seen her play again in the National Team and to her club team in Japan V-League. Only two of them announced their retirement after the 2016 Olympics, Saori Sakoda and Saori Kimura, followed by Risa Shinnabe last year. I’ve never heard a news about Sato’s retirement. Is she still active?

Arisa Sato left Hitachi and now she belongs to a local team "Ligare Sendai" Rivelo/Head coach. This year she returns to V2 league.
