Great video. I've owned nothing but analog radios since being licensed but digital repeaters are starting to appear in my area so I'm trying to decide what my first digital rig will be. 73 FR KG2LI.
New to some of this. Content around 5:00 about Allstar programming is baffling.

Love Allstar I have 3 Nodes two home made .
I have one SHARI Pi-U and two nodes I made from a Raspberry Pi3 and the TYT-TH900D's and I recently sold one I made from an Alinco DR-135 using the Raspberry Pi3 and the ARA-1+ sound card. They are solid when set for 10 watts and you put a cooling fan on the radio. LOVE LOVE LOVE AllStar!
…are you able to separate the volumes,on the two bands?,…right now,the main(top) controls both,at the same time.

I bought a used one from a guy in the club, I went to 121 to put my call sign in .I put it in over top of his. But when I turned it off and then turned it back on , his is still along with mine, how do I take his off?

@HamRadioCrusader thanks I've got the manual, I didn't see anything on how to take his out ,I put mind right over top of his , basically the last 3 letters the first 3 were the same
@@garytedlock7533 I would do a factory reset and make it my own. But that’s just me 😉
