players of your caliber don’t play game improvement irons. I used mizuno mp 15 for last 10 years and recently got the Mizuno hot metal pro and am fighting exactly what you are talking about. Essentially they don’t spin enough. It’s fun to hit a 9 iron 160 but the cost is balls rolling thru our hard greens. They are cast don’t have that butter feeling but hard to go back to more of a blade the longer I play them. U should have bought the 243 or 255
@@dtmcbride I was being a little dramatic, they don’t look too too bad at address, seen way worse but I’m not a fan of the color scheme. Also I’ve been gaming MBs for 25+ years, OS iron look awful to my eye, also I don’t like how they generally feel(cast clubs), flight, shape, etc. 3/4 shots are too jumpy, they’re too long in general, they launch too high without enough spin which creates more of a rainbow shaped flight rather than a more penetrating flight that rises via spin, just not the flights I like to see. Not for me, my last 15 or so sets of irons were essentially the same set up. Although I’ve been almost exclusively a titleist MB iron player for decades, I was pretty close to putting the blacked out cobra King MBs in the bag some years back. My buddy who wasn’t only my #2 co-captain on my college team but would often team up with me for events, travel together etc. played mostly cobra, he had those irons for years and I would often hit them. They’re in my top 5 for sure.
I just bought this set yesterday as a Xmas gift to myself.
Do you enjoy playing with it? What's your insight to share about aerojet irons?
Is that fake? Why does it looks so weird and why doesnt it say pwr bridge?
