@@andreanne8228 - Coming from Toronto area - it was big for us 🙂. But looking at the amount of snow it the city, especially residential area - it looked like you have a lot of snowy weather going on. Is it always like this in Quebec city in winter?
@@youngmeesha582 I already knew French quite well from high school in Ontario, but I couldn’t complete my course in Quebec because I came in contact with poison ivy on a picnic with a gorgeous French artist. And I’m severely allergic. I bet you weren’t expecting such a long story. Ok, bye, honey.

QUEBEC truly is a beautiful place. I used to get there for work (but its since been 15 years last) and almost always at Christmas. The stores, the markets, the decorations...are beautiful too. Than for posting.
My mom used to tell me about standing waiting for the subway on St Catherine's street and freezing! This looks so cold with the blowing snow. But Quebec/Montreal, is so beautiful; I love that city. (from Sandi)
You realize that Québec and Montréal are two different city, even the temperature is different, usually 5c colder in Québec so when it rains in montreal it snows in Québec
I live in Montreal which is 250 km south west of Quebec City. We also get snow storms during the winter. I have a nice corner view and I really enjoy a snow storm. A typical storm will bring approximately 30 cm of snow or more during a 24 hour period. I usually stay home, work from home during a storm, my car is in the interior garage of the building. On most occasion, the day after a storm is beautiful with blue skies. It’s the best time to enjoy winter activities such as skiing, skating, etc.
@@Alex_Gordon it’s not always like that. Last weekend was special. It was two days of intense cold. But this winter is pretty mild -6 or-8. Very nice winter. I see your profile picture and you seem to live in a warm place. Luck you 😊

Polar cold, the Green Comet will approach the Earth at 42 million km on the night of February 1/2. I don’t know, but given the cloudiness in your region, you can’t see it, you need a clear 🌠 sky. Nature entered the voyage. Thank you for the video. Good luck! 😊😉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

@@danykalajeunesse8843 I can not even imagine what that would be like. The state I live in gets down to 8c... At night... In the middle of winter...for maybe a week 😆
I'm from the US (Arizona). We Arizonans dread May-Mid October. 110°F-118°F (43°C-47°C) on a daily basis is brutal.🥵 On the other hand, I lived in Canada (Québec City to be exact). Beautiful City. Went to University there. I learned French, enjoyed the Cuisine etc. However, when winter arrived, I didn't think I would make it. That cold is bone chilling and hurts!🥶
Lovely job of capturing the ambiance of a winter storm. Was this filmed over two days? Initially the snow is granular and the wind gusts are mean. That's cold. Nearer the end of the film the snow appears as flakes and the wind appears to have moderated. The air temperature may also have risen a few degrees. Still cold, but with less bite. What a beautiful city.
Don't worry. One day the sun will come out again. Only 90 more days, and instead of white, it'll be light green. It will be SPRING! Look forward 🙂Stay positive
Its a snow storm but not an extreme one 😃 I've lived in the old city all my life and we've seen much worse. We got around 300 cm of snow that year wich is around 9,8 feet, and the coldest temperature was recorded in January at -36 degrees celcius (-32˚F).
I live in Hungary. When I was a child, we also had such a winter. Due to global warming, it hasn't snowed properly in Budapest for ten years. Between December and February, heat waves come and temperatures reach 60 degrees Fahrenheit. In summer, the temperature in the shade is 107 Fahrenheit. Our life has become horrible
Thanks!

Love Quebec City! Even in a snowstorm like this one, its by far one of the warmest places Ive ever been.
Why do I live in Toronto? WHY?!
In 1968, when I was 17 years old, I spent 6 weeks in QUEBEC City, taking a French course. THE BEST SUMMER OF MY LIFE.
