Anthony Davies wtf does that mean tho, is he livng at bbc radio 1? thats the only definition of residency i know of. why is he doing his own show on their, im confused as what his residnecy means
urjnlegend If a DJ had a residency it means they have a slot on the station or in a club (weekly or monthly). So with deadmau5 I think it's a monthly residency. Just means he comes on the air once a month and does a set until his residency runs out. Same way if a DJ has a residency in a club or venue just means they'll be back the following week/month until the end of the residency.
