I know many pakistani - UK nationals here in UK who drive taxis by choice coz they can earn much more many driving taxis than doing many other jobs. Please stop portraying half picture - the minimum wage here can allow everyone to earn handsome amount and no job is a bad job here. We need to get over the mindset that working at a restaurant and driving taxis are lesser jobs, you are not doing anyone a favor here, Sir! As for the tom-dick-harry unis, I absolutely agree these mafias should be shut down - but instead of asking people to stay in Pakistan and struggle for their own rights, rather ask them to train themselves enough to secure admissions in the Russel Group Unis in uk or the Ivy league in US. Please talk about HEC warning for students who are enrolling in BA degree. I belong from underdeveloped village of Punjab there is no proper transportation system for going to colleges. I have recently enrolled in aiou BA program but now I have heard about Hec new warning that it will not attest 2 year degree. I belong to underprivileged family and as a girl it is difficult for me to live in hostel. There are alot of girls who are doing BA. We just want to complete our graduation and support our family. Maximum income here in my village is 40000. So how can we afford higher education and monthly bus rent 12,000. Is this is education emergency in this country. Please atleast BA should be allowed to those girls who are from underprivileged background. Please raise voice for this. This is about us. About future of all girls from underdeveloped areas. And most importantly this is about our future generation.

Instead of aiou , you should take admission in virtual university, fee is around 25 k per semester maximum. It is better option for those who can not afford regular university. I myself is student of virtual university of Pakistan. Admission are open now if anyone interested.

I distributed newspapers every morning in intense weather on my bicycle to earn my living. When I tried to get a Job after finishing my degree with good grades, companies were preferring the language of that country so English wasn't their priority. I started my own business on a small level now Allah ki rehmat se I'm Mashallah far better than a lot of my other friends living in EU or in Pakistan.

Dear @abdullah hashem, First of all, not all Pakistanis living abroad earn handsome amounts of money. The earning bracket of a common Pakistani is around 1300- 2000$. A common Pakistani can send around 1.5 lac rupees back to Pakistan by cutting all living expenses. Therefore, do not exaggerate things that Pakistanis are earning handsome amounts of money abroad. Secondly, gone are the days when an engineer used to earn 20-30k per month. "Engineers b 20-30k kamaty hain"-- this sentence is used by those Pakistanis who didn't able to become engineers themselves just to justify their failures. The reality is that a MBBS graduate earn around 10-15K easily by opening up his/her private clinic in Pakistan. A good engineer earns around 2-3 lac per month in Pakistan by working in different companies. for example, if one is computer engineer, he can work in private software house company where the salary starts from 70k, and then he can work on fiver as well. as a result he can earn 2-3 lac easily. one more example, if a person is civil engineer in Pakistan, you cant even imagine how much he can earn here. lastly, who says it is difficult to get a job in Pakistan? Highlight your skills; ill make sure that you get good job in Pakistan.!!!

Dear Tariq uncle, I hope you are doing well. Yes, you are right about plaza universities. This issue was highlighted by the veteran journalist Talat Hussain back in 2009 or 2010. He pointed to a lot of so-called universities in the UK. But still, people believe the universities there are good. People in Pakistan should try to get admission in universities that are ranked higher in the Shanghai Ranking. Students should also check subject-wise ranking rather than just the name of the country. As far as the govt is concerned few years back, I was sitting in a meeting at the Ministry of Education, Islamabad. Our education attache in the Beijing embassy was asked about the number of students studying in China she was totally blank. She had no authentic number. So to expect that our Pakistani govt machinery will do anything, it is like living in a Fool's paradise. For engineering admission, Master's and PhD students should try to find some good professors abroad (by studying their profiles rather than just dropping random emails). My sister did the same thing and same happened with here degree complete hui or job nai mili waha b or yaha b now she is doing a dentist job at a private hospital for less than 90k and she spent almost 10 to 15 cores in her foreign education in Sweden. I'm glad that he spoke about the degree's/credentials which are of no use. The degree's are for modern-slavery in which you remain a slave. I'd suggest people to do intership after your study's then go for the degree if it's really important otherwise having a degree doesn't make you an intelligent person. Everyone should have certain set of skills to start your own business.

Career with low money motivation: I did my schooling from a government school with a percentage of merely 43% a lowest in my whole family. After that I did my commerece from collage and did acca after failing multiple times and spent only 250,000 PKR max on exams and now working with a renowned audit firm in UK. Morale: You can reach to renowned destinations if you have will and know the skill to craft ur CV and sell it. Nalaiq person like me is sitting in UK by the grace of Allah Pak, so why can't you ? Yes all of you people can. Get someone to make ur cv i think from 15k to 25k a professional can make ur cv but first get some smart education. MBA/BBA has no value in UK so get better education.
I think Pak students should go for U.S. if they get visa it would be a good opportunity as after completing degree they can legally work for 3 years and earn money to send back home. One more thing go for community colleges once visa is issued as their fee is very low compared to university and once you transfer from cc to university with a good gpa you can get a good scholarship in university

We have a corrupt education system in Pakistan, HEC & other government dept. are responsible for this nationwide & internationally as well. Study in English speaking countries like UK, US, CANADA is unfortunately very expensive. Cost of rent and food is 10 times the cost of Pakistan. You have to be rich already to study in these countries. They sell experience that you wont get in Pakistan but it comes with huge amount of money that you spend. I would of say go for it if you cant find any good employment in Pakistan after graduation, and your family has enough money to pay 26000 pound. 1 saal ki fees or monthly rent or food 1 saal ka mila k 26000 pound lag jaaega.

This is a very good analysis on the current situation. I think you need to cover the other aspect of Pakistani students, who initially comes to the good universities and change their course or university after certain time. In that case, we as a Pakistani are getting banned from good universities that causes more problems for eligible student who actually want to study and progress in their careers. Please talk about HEC warning for students who are enrolling in BA degree. I belong from underdeveloped village of Punjab there is no proper transportation system for going to colleges. I have recently enrolled in aiou BA program but now I have heard about Hec new warning that it will not attest 2 year degree. I belong to underprivileged family and as a girl it is difficult for me to live in hostel. There are alot of girls who are doing BA. We just want to complete our graduation and support our family. Maximum income here in my village is 40000. So how can we afford higher education and monthly bus rent 12,000. Is this is education emergency in this country. Please atleast BA should be allowed to those girls who are from underprivileged background. Please raise voice for this. This is about us. About future of all girls from underdeveloped areas. And most importantly this is about our future generation.

Instead of aiou , you should take admission in virtual university, fee is around 25 k per semester maximum. It is better option for those who can not afford regular university. I myself is student of virtual university of Pakistan.

May be my life experience can help someone. I am an MBA and BS from Pakistan and came to Sweden and I completed my MS in Product Development and I am also a Project Manager. I distributed newspapers every morning in intense weather on my bicycle to earn my living. When I tried to get a Job after finishing my degree with good grades, companies were preferring the language of that country so English wasn't their priority. I started my own business on a small level now Allah ki rehmat se I'm Mashallah far better than a lot of my other friends living in EU or in Pakistan.

First of all, not all Pakistanis living abroad earn handsome amounts of money. The earning bracket of a common Pakistani is around 1300- 2000$. A common Pakistani can send around 1.5 lac rupees back to Pakistan by cutting all living expenses. Therefore, do not exaggerate things that Pakistanis are earning handsome amounts of money abroad.
Secondly, gone are the days when an engineer used to earn 20-30k per month. "Engineers b 20-30k kamaty hain"-- this sentence is used by those Pakistanis who didn't able to become engineers themselves just to justify their failures. The reality is that a MBBS graduate earn around 10-15K easily by opening up his/her private clinic in Pakistan.
A good engineer earns around 2-3 lac per month in Pakistan by working in different companies. for example, if one is computer engineer, he can work in private software house company where the salary starts from 70k, and then he can work on fiver as well. as a result he can earn 2-3 lac easily. one more example, if a person is civil engineer in Pakistan, you cant even imagine how much he can earn here.

Dear Tariq uncle, I hope you are doing well. Yes, you are right about plaza universities. This issue was highlighted by the veteran journalist Talat Hussain back in 2009 or 2010. He pointed to a lot of so-called universities in the UK. But still, people believe the universities there are good. People in Pakistan should try to get admission in universities that are ranked higher in the Shanghai Ranking. Students should also check subject-wise ranking rather than just the name of the country. As far as the govt is concerned few years back, I was sitting in a meeting at the Ministry of Education, Islamabad. Our education attache in the Beijing embassy was asked about the number of students studying in China she was totally blank. She had no authentic number. So to expect that our Pakistani govt machinery will do anything, it is like living in a Fool's paradise. For engineering admission, Master's and PhD students should try to find some good professors abroad (by studying their profiles rather than just dropping random emails). Thanks, uncle for highlighting this issue.

I'd suggest people to do intership after your study's then go for the degree if it's really important otherwise having a degree doesn't make you an intelligent person.

I myself planned for the UK and got offer letters from multiple repetitive universities but at the end dismissed my plan. Now I'm gonna continue my studies here at NUML Islamabad. My Allah guide us. Ameen

Career with low money motivation:
I did my schooling from a government school with a percentage of merely 43% a lowest in my whole family. After that I did my commerece from collage and did acca after failing multiple times and spent only 250,000 PKR max on exams and now working with a renowned audit firm in UK.
Morale: You can reach to renowned destinations if you have will and know the skill to craft ur CV and sell it. Nalaiq person like me is sitting in UK by the grace of Allah Pak, so why can't you ? Yes all of you people can. Get someone to make ur cv i think from 15k to 25k a professional can make ur cv but first get some smart education. MBA/BBA has no value in UK so get better education.
I think Pak students should go for U.S. if they get visa it would be a good opportunity as after completing degree they can legally work for 3 years and earn money to send back home. One more thing go for community colleges once visa is issued as their fee is very low compared to university and once you transfer from cc to university with a good gpa you can get a good scholarship in university

@@TupacUS711 amount equal to more than the amount mentioned in I20, But getting a visa for community college is a challenge most students transfer to community college after one semester or six months.
Before going abroad, atleast show its curriculm to a experienced professional or compare with top universities in pakistan to know the deficiencies and plan accordingly...Also dong forget to check the accredition of program from their accredition body website....Under No Means Trust the word of university principal, that this program will get accredited soon or in this year.

Totally disagree, a person your age discouraging youth to drive taxis, do odd jobs, to pay uni fee, where is your halal rizq knowledge. Plus it can atleast pay for your loved ones living in pakistan, on the other hand, in your country, a person doing a 9 hour job is unable to feed his family. It's much better to go abroad and send even a few bucks back to your family rather than seeing you and your self dying there. Last point, you think its better to make a business out of that uni fee you paying abroad. Common on man, please be realistic, dont you know your country? Whats happening there for past 2 years.

We have a corrupt education system in Pakistan, HEC & other government dept. are responsible for this nationwide & internationally as well. Study in English speaking countries like UK, US, CANADA is unfortunately very expensive. Cost of rent and food is 10 times the cost of Pakistan. You have to be rich already to study in these countries. They sell experience that you wont get in Pakistan but it comes with huge amount of money that you spend. I would of say go for it if you cant find any good employment in Pakistan after graduation, and your family has enough money to pay 26000 pound. 1 saal ki fees or monthly rent or food 1 saal ka mila k 26000 pound lag jaaega.

May b it’s happening in UK, but it totally depends on in which country you are going. Usually what I saw in Pakistan people rely on those consultants for admission of student will search by himself and get an admission by self.
its the fault of students research about the universities. as an adult they should be able to figure out which consultant company/university is fraud. I know many friends who settled abroad and they are very happy

This is a very good analysis on the current situation. I think you need to cover the other aspect of Pakistani students, who initially comes to the good universities and change their course or university after certain time. In that case, we as a Pakistani are getting banned from good universities that causes more problems for eligible student who actually want to study and progress in their careers. Please highlight these issues as well because we need to educate people on this aspect and save our repute as a Pakistani.

I have only one plot as a asset with worth of almost 30 lakh. I did BBA Hons in banking and finance. If I sale my plot and invest it in Business I have no guarantee after one year I will have at least my principle amount ❗
