Ganz genau. Der Ignis ist ein Kleinwagen für die Stadt und den alltäglichen Berufsverkehr. Auch kleinen Familien mit ein bis zwei Kindern reicht er vollkommen aus. Er ist Sparsam und sehr gut ausgestattet. Mit ihm lassen sich auch Urlabsfahrten unternehmen sofern man mit einer Reisegeschwindigkeit von 120 bis 130 zufrieden ist. Wir sind letztes Jahr über 650km nach Südtirol durch die Schweiz und Österreich gefahren ohne Probleme.
How interesting to hear the level of tyre and engine noise on the motorway. I have a 2017 Ignis and there is much more tyre roar and engine noise at those speeds than here. Seems Suzuki have done a good job of actually listening to feedback and improving over the past 3 years or so. Nice.
Bonjour, la différence avec une plus grosse voiture sur autoroute c'est le poids et la taille. Je trouve pour l'Ignis BVA CVT est exceptionnel et formidable par son confort en ville et pénétrante, l'auto Ignis est petite certes (Grande à l'intérieur vraiment spacieuse) elle fait le job sur autoroute sans souci en plus la boite CVT est aussi en manuelle avec les palettes au volant. Avec l'IGNIS elle fait sans souci cette vitesse de 160 à 170 km/h (donner constructeur 155km/h) on atteint pas le rouge non plus, mais la fatigue vous rattrape a cette vitesse (gaffe au radars) Moi je roule toujours vers 140km/h + ou - max, au-delà ceux qui roule à plus de 180km/h deviennent des dangers pour les autres. Je fait deux fois par an Nice France vers Rome Italie sans problème (650 km aller et 650km retour) pour un Tarif en dessous des 20000 euros l'Ignis pack CVT TOUTE OPTION RESTE UNE TRÈS BONNE AFFAIRE. Je roule aussi parfois en Mercedes classe C, je roule jamais plus de 140/150 km/h mais le confort est superieur.
Thanks for your testing. The top speed seems to be around 168kph on meter.. I have one in Indonesia but never tried as it's too dangerous here. IGNIS is quite enough for my daily use.

Cant argue with that. Its a lowish powered car, but more than capable of doing the speed limit and keeping up with traffic. If anyone needs a lot of power to enjoy driving it simply means they are impatient and incapable of discipline on the roads, and should retake their test. Too many bell ends on the roads that cant behave.

Driving in Germany is great. Yes, speeds are sometimes extreme. Driving 'casually' at around 175 km/hour and having someone overtake you with nearly 100 km/hour more is exhilarating. I guess German drivers are well aware of the extreme danger on the autobahn, which is why (most) behave so well.
Der Ignis erreicht eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 173 km/h mit meinem Navi gemessen. Alles was der Tacho darüber mehr anzeigt hat er dazugeschwindelt. So zwischen 10 bis 15 km/ h geht er vor. Es ist also durchaus möglich das er über 180 anzeigt wobei mein Navi auch eine Messtolleranz von 3 km/ hat.
GPS abgesichert 172, Tacho zeigt knapp 180 kmh. Kommt auf die Felgen an. Im Winter habe ich kleinere 15" Felgen. Mehr als 8 kmh geht der Bordcomputer nicht vor. Bei Tacho 130 kmh sind es GPS abgesichert 125 kmh. Das ist Blitzer sicher.

On the autobahn you normally have no or very long turns so most important is to have good breaks that do not overheat (unlike my 1993 Opel Astra where you had breaks only first time you break at such speed, next time you try to break within 1 minute they would not work due to overheating. I solved that by changing to racing break pads, no more brake fade due to heat after that).

It is fun to drive. 130 kmh 71db. Tempomat 160 kmh for a long distance is comfotable. We had a journey of about 700 km. Two persons, full with luggage. 6.5 liter a 100km on summary .
It is much slower than non-hybrid, non-Cvt shifter, 2016 model.. This feels very slow.. Although, great little car, but the pre-hybrid models are more lively than this one.. Never the less, great POV!
Why do you feel it much slower than previous model? Don't fix about the sound, just look at the tachometer and realize that having 83hp and 107Nm only it is pretty quick in acceleration!!!
drive an AMT model as daily driven, quite powerful for it size and efficient NA 26km/l on highway, and never go down below 13km/l on traffic jam. the only problem is encounter side wind while speeding
i drive 40k km with stock condition, drop till 21-24 on highway, and now 55k km with little mod, stage 1 NA, 19-21 on highway, and 13-16 on heavy traffic
Mein automatisiertes Getriebe erkennt an der Gaspedalstellung welche Leistung ich haben möchte und schaltet bei Vollgas das Getriebe recht sportlich. Das bedeutet das die Gänge voll aufgedreht werden. Bei halbem Gas wird schon etwa im mittleren Drehzahlbereich hochgeschaltet. So lässt er sich bei behutsamer Fahrt sehr sparsam fahren.

It is the same Jatco7 of Nissan, which has been installed on Micra (so with more torque), and in versione without Multistepper, on Dacia....so not the best of the world, but neither the worst.

Well. This car has a 1200cc engine. We in Indonesia used to get Celerio 1.0 with CVT, but Suzuki discontinued Celerio because of poor sales and the WagonR sold better (even though the car has less safety features than Celerio, not even ABS available in WagonR).

@@claudiuion7106 for low speed, 1800rpm, around 55-60km/h or 2700rpm around 90-95km/h, make sure you kick the throttle slowly and constant

Fuel 100 octan gives a push in Acceleration and Vmax. Most times i use 100 octan Premium Super or 98. Aral has 102 octan. 😊

It is the same Jatco7 of Nissan, which has been installed on Micra (so with more torque), and in versione without Multistepper, on Dacia....so not the best of the world, but neither the worst.

Well. This car has a 1200cc engine.
We in Indonesia used to get Celerio 1.0 with CVT, but Suzuki discontinued Celerio because of poor sales and the WagonR sold better (even though the car has less safety features than Celerio, not even ABS available in WagonR).
Its kinda embarrassing to be overtaken by some other car, even while being on top speed
