2LEGIT ENTERTAINMENT happy to hear that. That’s all the scales you need in addition to your regular minor, major and harmonic minor . Keep in mind almost all modern western music is just the minor or major scale. Even harmonic minor is rare. Try not to trick yourself into thinking learning yet another scale is going to improve your music beyond the ones you know now. In fact you’ll quickly find out it makes your music worse.
Using non traditional scales tend to make your music sound out of key. That’s why the ones I showed you are so special because they happen to use the same notes as the normal minor and major scales. The only difference is they RESTRICT you by eliminating some of those notes.
This is where the fun and creativity begins. Now that you know these scales, it’s all about what you do with them. At this point, your slowing yourself down by not making more music using those scales. Move forward with these scales. Otherwise you’re likely to move backwards by trying to use random scales that no one listens to in modern western music, i.e. major and minor.

2LEGIT ENTERTAINMENT to be blunt...I don’t use any other scales. If you can’t make great music with these, it’s has nothing to do with the scale. It’s completely based on what notes you put together within those scales. I can recreate 95% of all the music on the top 100 charts using just the white keys. Maybe even 100% depending on the week and what people are listening to. Don’t get lost in the sauce brotha. Be careful not to make this more complicated than it really is. Every song you listen to uses 7 notes or less and most of them don’t use 7 notes.
