From what I know the R1 line is supposed to be a X2 Pulsar clone and most people prefer the shape of this one because it's not as wide, some people complained that the X2 was a little too bulky on the sides.
Don’t trust this guy on the 4k point. 4k only works of the Pro/Max version, which are more expensive. The SE series only support 2k polling rate and isn’t PAW 3395, but a 3395 SE, which is a rebranded worse one😅 Hope this helped
If you like the viper mini, I would suggest looking for budget mice like that shape, other than that, yes I do think it’s worth to upgrade, and the stock skates are fine

@@teejay6523 try delux m600 pro or m600 ultra I think ultra only has better mcu just less battery consumption, but vxe r1 shape is also safe cause I came from viper mini too lol

this mouse has a 3395se sensor, which is revamped 3335, and not the flagship 3395, just a little correction :)

Both are equally good, it depends on which shape you like to try more. The viper mini is more similar to the Akazz than the R1
does the pro max verison on this mouse that you can buy require you to have something special to be able to plug in the 4k dongle into your computer?

I always reply, and yes, I would say for the price, the normal r1 is better than the x3.
Does the SE come with the dongle extender? ( the one that comes with the pro and pro max ) (because the normal R1 doesnt)
no it does not, the dongle comes inside the bottom of the mouse its self. I use the dongle extender from my f1 pro max.

either really, for me, I like a claw grip shape over ergo, so it mostly comes down to personal preferance
