I really want to see this in an RPG as a usable magic item. Maybe give +1 to attack and defense against darkborn creatures within the light and - to the attack and defense of darkborn creatures.
Energy is never "wasted." Conservation of Energy states that mass and energy simply change forms into other forms of mass energy. They never disappear from our universe. Ergo, if you look at the big picture, what we ought to do is find a way to tap into the the abundant, near-limitless energy available in our universe. We can figure out fusion for starters. Eventually, we can figure out how to freely convert mass to energy, and vice versa, and to tap into zero point energy.
The point is to comment on how we use electricity and energy without thinking. It does have a cost, we just don't see it. This is a one-time use light source that has a direct cost to the user. It's supposed to make someone think before using energy.

But that will take many years of well funded research and the cooperation of nearly all countries. This sort of situation is likely never to come to pass. For now, we are expending a non renewable resource which most of us take for granted. This is what the laymen refer to as to "waste".
Don't say any other unconcern comments to this video. The message that the inventor wanna say is saving electricity.Wasting too much resources and energy will affect directly to our benefit.
I think it would be better if the cap had a lance to cut yourself. The broken glass could be unsafe, and you would still have to bleed for it to work. Plus you could but the cap back on and move it around. It would be safer and more functional while still getting the message across.

Anyone know the best solvent for luminol and the ratio one should use to make this? Personally, I think it's awesome and wanna try it. I already happen to have some luminol.
