We had the same issue with our old Bailey Valencia, i fitted a rubber awning rail protection strip, which deflected any water coming off the roof and side of the caravan.
Thanks for the tip about Everards.
We are taking our caravan for it's service tomorrow at Raymond James and had planned to kill sometime visiting Fosse Park😅
Wishing you both a very merry Caravaning Xmas.
Hi Calv, thanks for commenting - thanks for the tip, sounds like a good idea, I'll bare it in mind.
Hope you have a productive time at Fosse! - cheers, we can't wait to get away for our first Christmas in the van & merry Christmas to you, too & thanks for watching.
Hi Kevin and Sadie, just caught up on your video. Sending Sadie hugs and hope she heals quickly. We both hope that 2024 is a better year for you both as we know it’s not been great for you. Look forward to catching up with your next video - Kim and Andy 🥰
Thank you both. Wishing you a merry Christmas and a happy new year. lots of love xx
@@CaravanningwiththeMrs we hope you have a lovely Christmas too xx
Chin up mate
Thoughts to you both
Thanks, Gavlos, 👍 have a good 'un!
I know exactly what’s causing that damp floor, had the same issue on my 2021 Pegasus Grande SE. It’s a Bailey design fault. Fixed it myself using builders damp course membrane used on bricks
Hi Keith - yes that's what I'm thinking - I saw someone else vlog with a Pheonix - presume it's something to do with the plastic bumper moulding?
@@CaravanningwiththeMrs it’s all the way around, not sure about the discovery but the front and rear panels are cut flush with the floor allowing water to wick around to the floor edge. The sides have the plastic rail which clips into a inner moulding. These have that 90deg lip around the floor. Water gets behind the trim and as the walls are also level with the floor and you can see the result
If the damp is were the shower is,there's a clue,,
Hi John, thanks for your comment, but it definitely isn't the shower as it hasn't been used for a month and I checked again yesterday after it had been drizzling all day and was soaking wet under the caravan.
