Yes, it saved my azz. A car hit me and tried to run, I caught up with them, After a short conversation, I had to inform him that I a rear car cam. The only thing he said was, "all shit". So I will be getting.

the only complaint i have about these is that it does not display lanes when you are reversing nor does it have a sensor to indicate you are getting too close.

I have a more complete video up on RUclips answering most questions. It does record in mirror mode, it requires both front and back. But it only records when the key is on.

Yes. It can get power from the reverse lights and if you mount the camera near the license plate, you’ll get a good view.

They always record but you can press a button that saves a particular recording

On the rear I’m assuming. It will be dark and difficult to read the plates. You could mount the camera closer to the 3rd brake light and maybe it would be easier if there is no tint. Or cut a small piece out for it

I had one of these before. Wait until you use it in snowy cold weather outside. It won't work until you cabin heats up.
I'm in Toronto Canada. zero issues for me. Turns on every time.
I am in Toronto also. That was almost 5 years ago. Has to be freezing cold outside and LCD has no display until about 5min later. May be they work better now.

No. Not worth the try. Screen is call Liquid Crystal Display if you know how liquid does in your fridge.@@sadhaka7

Dashcams work on any car they connect to the cigarette lighter or to your battery terminal or fuse box. The easiest installation is with the cigarette lighter but it only records when the car ignition is on.

Yes. The dashcam puts out a wifi signal and the phone connects to it. Then you use an app to see the dashcam contents.

Yes. You can hit a video version of mute which vids the controls and makes it a working mirror while still recording.

then you only run the front camera or figure out a way to reroute the rear camera. It would still work with a convertable though.
I don't see a touchscreen making through this summer. I'll try it, but I'm willing to bet the glitching will start before winter.

Yeah. It’s not bad at 1080. But that was awhile ago. Now I use a 4K dashcam :) crisper license plate views

It could be wider but the lens can pivot and the mirror can move. Thats why I like it, I can point it in any direction I want

my main issue with dash-cams is having to rewatch footage on a computer or on a tiny screen. does this record to your phone app??
Not to the phone but you can log into it with your phone and download the footage.

why is this an issue? I've only had to review footage when I got into an accident (which thankfully was only once in the last 7 years as a gig driver (knock on wood)) - plugging my dashcam into my computer wasn't a huge task & would prefer to edit on a larger screen...

I think that it depends on your budget. It's worked well for me and is better than any viofo or cheap dashcam that I've bought.

No issues yet. Canadian summers aren’t crazy though. I’m going to make another video on it
Overtime, the battery inside puffs up due to the heat exposure and just needs battery replacements
I purchased the redtiger t27 and that uses a capacitor instead of a battery and it survived the arizona heat

There is one that does that. It is but this one but there is one out there to purchase. The of the vehicle from the top is a digital representation of the vehicle but the view live from the top. How that made sense. 🙏🏽.
My openion, it serves the half purpose only. It would be best if usable when car is turned off and in parking, because some stupid people just cant bear and want to scratch your car paint while passing through.
You could use it that way but you’d need to hardwire it in.

So far it’s been good. There is no subscription. It uses a microSD card or you connect your phone to it with Bluetooth

Pretty good actually Especially in 2.7k or 4K Of you watch some of my shorts or videos on my other channels, you’ll see it in action. It’s my favourite dashcam so far and I’ve had a dozen or so

no, there isn't a 'stem' for this to connect too. it needs a mirror that is attached to work properly
Stupid place to put it under the brake light as the glare will washout the footage when the brakes come on
