Another local haunt of mine, spent many a happy hour there, at the depot, station, holgate junction, dickie bridge and hob moor! the world has changed for the worse esp where trains are involved....
Dickie Bridge was better than the station platforms always even late in 1991 it was still busy not the desert of today with rotting coal trucks.

This was a new unit built by the York Carriage Works being shunted on to a train bound for the Scottish Region I think for Service on their Railway.
