Thanks for the review. I've been waiting for review on this for months. Lenovo is dreadful at marketing and distribution. They release in dribs and drabs with only one low end configuration in stock in the UK with no adverts or reviews. Lenovo themselves don't even know when it'll be available fully. They release it without the 2nd gen pen. PC marketing is mess and availability is ad hoc at best. They don't launch, they trickle. It's also weird how their top end model the 900 series is lower end spec than the mid range 700. Have you compared this one to the 2017 x360? Does the silver feel like raw thick metal like a macbook pro does? I find pc's say they're metal but it always seems thin and plastic looking / coated.
yeah, thanks! I think I'm gonna get one of these for my upcoming college life, maybe without the 4K screen, if I can customize the configs that much. :)
Yes, please take the back off and show us the hardware underneath, and put up some gaming benchmarks! Been searching for a powerful 2 in 1 laptop for what seems like years, and props for Lenovo pushing out the first real powerhouse version. I REALLY want to get this, but as a first gen I'd like to see what competition thinks of this product first, and hopefully releases their own take in maybe the Dell Inspiron 7000 or the HP Envy x360/Spectre line. I wonder if their take could manage another NVMe HD slot/or a smaller battery for a 2.5" SSD bay? Squeeze in a a 1050ti with better cooling and of course more IO is always a plus. What would seal the deal for me is a Thunderbolt 3 port with all 4 lanes which would open the user up for the possibility to take advantage of an eGPU (I've read the Lenovo 720 only supports 2 lanes for thunderbolt, so mostly just adding another display) If next January rolls along and no one's put out a better version I'll probably purchase this Lenovo. But thanks for your in depth review, well done!
I just got this laptop yesterday. So far I'm feeling it. I notice the different between watching videos higher than 1080p . Which people say you need a big screen to notice. Anyway thanks for the video it's hyping me up about my purchase, to make future videos on this laptop and how it does with editing.
Everyone was waiting for a review in this particular model! Some questions if you have time (or a new video!): - Trackpad and gestures. It's a precision trackpad, do the job right? gestures work fine? Missing taps or something? - Fan noise: Just doing non-heavy stuff like browsing or watching youtube videos trigger the fan? Is quiet if you're not doing some heavy lifting? Let's say a youtube video plus 3 or 4 tabs open including some JS heavy ones like Facebook. - Real usage battery life doing non-gaming stuff? - Wifi performance/range compared with other computers? Reddit will be looking at this soon!
I can't speak to the touchpad since I always use a wireless mouse, but will try to include that in a followup. The fan noise is virtually non-existent even when gaming. My wife played The Long Dark and Astroneer last night and laptop was not completely silent, but I was impressed by the lack of whine/fan noise. My GS63vr is much louder under load.
Cool. I'm interested in knowing if the fan is completely off when doing light work because I use the laptop in the bed at night, with my wife and a baby. At the moment I have a MacBook Pro from 2014 and fans are always off in this situation. The other thing that will be good to know is how it works with the stylus. That's the main reason why this laptop is on top of my list. Sort of the unicorn I was looking for (2 in 1, stylus support, quad core and dedicated GPU). AFAIK is the only thing on the market with this characteristics.
Sitting just a few feet away from where the laptop was being used, I could not hear it when it was just Internet browsing and regular non-3D use. My wife has a stylus. Will try to do some tests for a follow-up video. Thanks!
I've owned this laptop for around two weeks now. On the whole I love it, but my god the right click on the track pad sucks. Like really sucks. Basically there's a knack for it and now I'm at a point where I can click it about 70% of the time, but if you push down at slightly the wrong area it will just left click which is pretty irritating. On the whole the track pad is really nice and responsive, but that poor right click really is an issue. Having said that, I've had no other problems with this laptop - it's really nice and I'm still glad I bought it. Lack of hdmi port is disappointing but I'm not someone who rigs my laptop up to other monitors regularly anyway so it's not really affecting me. As to your second point, the fan has been great for me, but I've not tried it for gaming yet. So in terms of low to medium load (i.e. multiple browser windows (including youtube videos) open along with running several other programs) this laptop doesn't bat an eye - basically because I've yet to game on it, I've yet to actually hear the fan! Battery life is about average for this kind of use - I'd say around 4-5 hours is accurate. I use it mainly for productivity (student) with frequent youtube breaks and it seems to last a decent amount of time. If you're just using the likes of Microsoft Office I reckon you could probably squeeze near to 6 hours out of it, and that's before adjusting the screen brightness down. Probably average in this capacity, but definitely not poor (again can't comment for gaming use). I can't really give you a technical response to the wifi performance/range, other than to say that I live in a tenement building (lots of those where I live) with thick stone walls and it seems to pick up the signal great from other rooms. Likewise everywhere that I have been out and about it connects with no issues, so I'd imagine that unless you're in a particularly awkward set-up it's going to connect fine. Hope that helps.
Just picked one up myself a few days ago as it's on sale this week for $1299, and you're right, it is pretty much a slam dunk. I wish the screen wasn't so "cool" though. Everything has a faint blueish hue to it.
nice to finally see a proper review of the yoga 720, thank you for that. how are the speakers? considering the title of your channel, a little surprised you didn't mention them.
Thanks for reminding me that I failed to talk about the sound. The speakers are JBL's (with Dolby) and are actually quite good! Haven't played around with settings, but first impression is awesome.
toni c I have this laptop and the speakers are servisable. I only wish it would come with an HDMI and USB C charging port instead of the Lenovo one (although I understand that it would've been complicated due to the power requirements). Other than that I fully recommend it. Playing Zelda 4k, drawing with a Wacom pen and coding on the same machine is really great.
ahmed samir I have a tower PC for that sort of gaming. But I would expect The Witcher to be totally playable in mid settings (and not 4k). The fans do get loud when gaming. I've played endless Legend at Max settings in 4k and it runs great on the Yoga. I guess I could try the Witcher, but it's a looong download.
by servicable do you mean tolerable but not enjoyable? I watch a lot of movies on my laptop, I would like the speakers to be decent at least. if only the spectre x360 had a quad cpu.
Great review, but from an artist's standpoint, I can say that I'm still a bit on the fence with it. I drove over to my local Best Buy today and saw the high end model on display. The trouble that I can see is the limited drawing position options. In reality, the only way I could see using it as a drawing tablet is folded completely into a slate position. Used in tent mode,...it is not reliable and succumbs to the weight of the hand. It also cannot handle any pressure in the folded up display position. The Vaio Canvas does not suffer from these issues in any position. I love the larger footprint of the 720, but I'm just not certain if I can live with the lack of positioning options.
Great review! So glad someone finally put one out on this one. I picked up an open box at BB for $1259 and I absolutely love this thing. Ticked all the boxes for me. I would have preferred the "Iron Grey" model on Lenovo's website, but the Platinum Silver is growing on me. :) I'd love to see a gaming benchmark video if you get around to it. Thanks!!
I just bought this but I wish it came with the sexy watchband hinge on the 900 series. The only thing that this thing lacks is a premium look to go with its amazing specs.☹😀
At 7:02... "I think there's a 74 kilowatt-hour battery..." LOL - I wish; that would power the unit for months (should probably say "74 watt-hour battery" instead). Otherwise - a terrific review; thanks for the info.
Just bought the last one my BestBuy had and I'd have to say it rocks. The fans are tolerable. I took back the Asus model that was 1399.00 for this and quite frankly I think I made the right decision. I'm really not sure why this is the same price as the Asus but seems like better specs then the Asus. For me it's a keeper
I have a question, I bought the computer with nvidia 1050, I suppose a game like league of legends will have a Fps over 60, but for some reason, it only runs 30fps. Why is this happening? I went to the nvidia control panel and put high performance and I haven't seen any change.
One thing to check would be the Nvidia Geforce Experience. Look under the "Battery Boost" settings and make sure it isn't locked at 30fps. I have completely uninstalled Geforce Experience since it's caused me nothing but trouble. That would be the first place I'd look. Hope that works for you. Thanks!
I just bought this one last night on your review. I absolutely love this laptop I'm not a gamer just basic user but it's nice knowing if I need the power it's there. I'm not sure why this machine isn't 200-300 more with the specs it has. I'm wondering what the downside is because I haven't found one yet.
So, how does this compare in your opinion to the XPS 15 ? Do you notice any coil whine on this lenovo ? Also, how does the screen compare to that of the 4K xps ?
Can't speak to the XPS 15 since I haven't had any hands on time with the newer models. Have noticed no whine whatsoever in this Yoga so far. Will try to capture more sounds in followup video.
98.3 The Snake - The Classic Rock Station How would you compare it to the hp x360 spectre that you said your wife uses? Trying to decide on a laptop for college and I'm pretty much down to these two.
My wife chose to sell the Spectre and move to this new Yoga. But, it depends on your preferences. Probably better battery life with Spectre, but more CPU and GPU power on the Yoga. Both screens are awesome. Hope you get a good solution for college!
Great review, thanks! I bought an HP envy, then changed my mind the next day when I realized there was a sale going on and I could get something higher end. Picked up this beauty and WOW, loving it to no end, every time I look at the screen I I'm like, whoa, amazing! everything about this laptop is SO fast and flawless. I was going to pick up a comparable desktop since I do some light gaming and my old desktop went kaput, but this handles fine and I have the versatility with all the great specs! No regrets!
Very good laptop. I had to get mine from Best Buy in the U.S. when I was visiting family as they don't sell them in the U.K. at the moment. Be careful with it though it scratches ridiculously easy. That really pissed me off as I only had it a day and there are 2 barely there hairline scratches. You cant see them unless you look for them but I'm a little OCD so it bothers me. Ah well I'll get over it lol.
Achal Gupta do you have the full HD (1080p) or the 4k model? I noticed a yellowish tint in other reviews that had the full HD model but this review with the 4k panel seems to have a cool tone to it.
I picked up the 720 with less specs and its great. Mine is 8gb ram , 256 gb ssd no gtx and for i need it runs great ...the i7 quad is legit..Full HD is just fine. i only paid 800 at bb
Obviously your budget is your call. Depending on your use case scenario, I would think that combination would be strong for most productivity and some gaming. Thanks!
It's no trouble. I really can't speak to architecture software since I've never used any. But, from what I understand, the more GPU/CPU power you can buy, the better. Thanks!
just some helpfull critic. mayspend less time on the transition effects or cut them all together and get screencaptures instead of filming the screen. Other than that really great review
98.3 The Snake - The Classic Rock Station Is it possible to use an external keyboard and mouse while having the laptop in tent mode? Also, what material is the trackpad made of? Thanks!
I covered the trackpad makeup in the follow up video here: ruclips.net/video/3tJGVLviL44/видео.html But, to answer your question, I'm not sure. It is probably just a smooth plastic trackpad, but feels responsive and premium. Great question about external mouse and keyboard. I don't have an external keyboard to try, but will have my wife try the mouse part of it. Thanks!
98.3 The Snake - The Classic Rock Station that amazing keep doing videos about thia laptop plz because it is amazing product specially about battery life time while the screen is in 4k
I don't generally use trackpads thanks to my affinity for good high dpi wireless mice. But, the trackpad is very smooth and seems responsive. I can't tell if it's some type of plastic. It's very smooth and easy to manipulate.
Like I said, have not done triple A gaming on this thing. Wife played The Long Dark, Astroneer and stuff like that with no trouble. No throttling or any heat problems.
Hinges seem solid. Obviously that's crucial for anyone that wants to truly use this as a convertible. Can't emphasize enough how high quality this chassis build is.
thnakyou, also Do the keys lower inside if the screen is flipped completely? lenovo has that function in some laptops to avoud that rattling of keys when in x360 mode.
I don't have anything to measure color accuracy, otherwise would be glad to help. All I can tell you is that, to my eyes, colors look bright but not blown out. As far as exact Adobe measurements, not sure.
Sorry I'm not more help on this. I'm a radio guy who happens to also be a certified tech that loves to play with laptops, but don't have some of the pro tools to do those measurements. Thanks again for your kind words!
I've been waiting for this review of the 720--great job and thank you. How is it for on-the-fly photo and 4K-video editing? Can you speak about the screen's color gamut (sRGB, Adobe RGB, Delta E, etc.) and its brightness (perhaps in nits)? Have you connected an external GPU or 4K monitor to the Thunderbolt 3 port?
All great questions. I wish I had an accurate answer. I don't have any equipment to give you exact measurements. Unlike some of the pro sites, I'm just a regular guy (radio nerd) who messes around with any laptop I can find. I don't have a 4k external monitor or GPU to try out the Thunderbolt 3 port. All I can give is a ballpark guess based on other machines I've used that do have exact nit measurements. Looks to me that it is around 300 nits, but that's just a shot in the dark. Thanks again!
I appreciate the fast reply. For a "regular guy," you might have posted the first useful video about the 720--thanks again. What city do you broadcast from?
Our radio station is in Twin Falls, Idaho where Evel Knievel tried to jump the canyon back in 1974 and Eddie Braun actually did it last September. Thanks for the kind words!
How do you compare this one to HP Spectre X360 15 ? They've got similar specs and price point, HP being $100 more expensive, yet including a stylus. I've got the 2016 version of HP Spectre X360 and considering to upgrade to either one of these laptops at the end of the year when they are even more affordable. Yoga 720 is the only 15" 4K quadcore 2 in 1 in the world and has a recent graphic card. On the other hand, HP looks more stylish and classy in terms of design. Have you noticed any quality issues as reported by a user in the first 4 minutes of this video : ruclips.net/video/YUgUFdgJeUI/видео.html I am not a gamer, so graphic card is not an issue but the color reproduction is. HP also seems to have a better selection of ports with SD card reader and full-sized HDMI. At the end of the day, it looks like I will decide between quadcore vs design.
It really depends on what you're looking for. I agree the looks of the newest Spectre are sweet and the included stylus is great if you need it. The Yoga 720 will kill the Spectre from a 3D performance standpoint. For a convertible, the 1050 is an amazing thing. Both are great machines for different reasons.
I have the exact same concern. I like the HP better mostly because of it looks, the ports and the added stylus. I am not a gamer either but I am wondering if an older graphics card is big enough a reason to jump to yoga 720. quadcore though, still a reason to. Did you end up picking one over the other?
Not yet but both sides are pushing the limits as HP dropped from $1500 to $1400 and Lenovo from $1400 to $1300 at BestBuy. I will wait a little more to see how far the competition goes :)
I'm trying to decide the same thing right now. I'll mostly be using the graphics card for CAD and design type structural/architectural programs. All the reviews for gaming don't really help me decide if this will be right for me. It seems like the graphics card will work fine for what I need, but I also could just drop the 2 in 1 and get a laptop with a high end graphics card. The specs on the 720 and spectre are so close though, it's really a tough call.
@98.3 The Snake - The Classic Rock Station , can you speak to the battery performance on both of these machines? are they around the same? Is one better than the other? you mentioned battery life in the review, but how does it compare to the spectre? I'm a student so I'd rather not carry around cords if I don't have to.
I am probably the worst judge of trackpads since I generally hate all of them and always use a wireless mouse. For the very little time I messed around with this trackpad, seemed responsive.
I've had it for two weeks now and have exclusively used the track pad so I can give you my experience: The trackpad is, on the whole, very responsive and feels premium. However, the right click functionality on this is abysmal, and there is a 'knack' for finding the right point in the track pad and clicking correctly. I'm now at a point where I can get the right click about 70% of the time, but the other 30% it just registers a left click which is pretty annoying. I'd say it's my only real point of contention with the laptop though, which in the grand scheme of things is definitely a complaint I can live with. I'm quite tolerant though - I can see this being enough of an issue that people use a mouse with it instead.
98.3 The Snake - The Classic Rock Station How is the laptop overall??I was considering this over the XPS 15 and all just befuase of its price to features ratio.Im an engineering student, so will this go well??
Overall, it's a great laptop. I haven't had the chance to try the newest XPS 15's, so not sure how to compare. This Yoga has a healthy amount of ram, fast SSD and speedy Nvidia dedicated video card, so would guess this would easily handle your work. Hope you can find a great solution. Thanks!
I think Lenovo modeled this after the new MacBooks thinking they were at least doing us a favor giving us a legacy USB port. The arrow keys are a funny thing. I use an Asus GL502 as my daily driver now and it has tiny arrow keys, but the tactile response is good, so not really a problem. I will admit they're better than what comes on this Yoga.
Different strokes for different folks, but for a 2-in-1 convertible, the 1050 is not light in my opinion. If someone is a triple A gamer, then they wouldn't normally be looking at something like this anyway. For someone who needs portability and wants to game a bit, haven't seen anything better than this.
hi , thanks for such a great review can you please tell me where to buy this model , i search all over internet but couldn't find it any where so please help me i need it ASAP or if its unavailable then please guide me a similar laptop like this in any brand thanks hoping for some positive response like your video :)
Haven't been able to test the range since our home is only so big. But, no connectivity problems at all. The Idaho ISP's in our area have data caps and throttles on service, so no really useful way to test the speed.
I'm not trying to be a smart ass, the orange tint over the entire video made me think the laptop was the gold edition til he mentioned it was silver. It's a valid criticism because it's inaccurate colors when reviewing an object I want to get a good visual of. It's not *perfectly* fine, it has an orange hue, we all make mistakes. The rest is great, really. I think you're projecting on to me, or something. Your assertions aren't coming from a place of logic.
I'm really not sure why this laptop isn't getting more attention.
me neither. Looks like Lenovo failed on marketing... just send this to a few review-channels and you sell thousands :D
yes, that seems to be the case, the German Lenovo website lists a model with a "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050M 4GB GDDR5" :D
I can see 4GB being useful in the 4K model, but for the 1080P, 2GB would be just fine.
Thanks for the review. I've been waiting for review on this for months. Lenovo is dreadful at marketing and distribution. finally a real fucking review!
We'll take that as a compliment. Thanks.

Man finally a no b.s., real world review. THANK YOU. I would love to see gaming performance!
I've been waiting for someone to post a review of this machine! Thank you! It's good to hear the good positive comments!
Thanks! Working on follow up video soon!

I could be wrong, but I thought you could adjust the color temp in the Lenovo settings separate from the Intel graphic panel.

Glad you grabbed one, too! Great machine. Will definitely work on a gaming benchmark video soon. Thanks!
please do a gaming video and speed test like start-up times. glad to finally see a proper review on this model!
I will do that. I can tell you that startup time from cold boot is around 10 seconds (very quick). Planning to do a gameplay video soon. Thanks!
i saw this at best buy a few days ago.. it looked awesome! it's probably the most powerful convertible right now.
Good review, thanks for making/sharing it.
Glad to help in any small way we can. Thanks!

Glad you were able to find one. Gonna work on a follow up video regarding fans, sound, etc. Thanks!
Adrian Wegener Which Asus? The Asus zenbook pro? or 3 or??
I have a question, I bought the computer with nvidia 1050, I suppose a game like league of legends will have a Fps over 60, but for some reason, it only runs 30fps. Why is this happening? I went to the nvidia control panel and put high performance and I haven't seen any change.
One thing to check would be the Nvidia Geforce Experience. Look under the "Battery Boost" settings and make sure it isn't locked at 30fps. I have completely uninstalled Geforce Experience since it's caused me nothing but trouble. That would be the first place I'd look. Hope that works for you. Thanks!
I saw this laptop on amazon for $749 for black Friday. Is it still worth buying now in december 2019? Please give me feed back.
Is it possible to watch 4K Netflix on this?
Since it has a 4K Display and 7th gen Kaby Lake?
It's a 4K screen, so I would think that would work. My family doesn't have Netflix or I would be glad to try it.
I love this laptop. I have the 4k version and wish the GTX 1050 had 4GB, but other than that it is great. Plays games at 1080p very well.
I just bought this one last night on your review. I absolutely love this laptop I'm not a gamer just basic user but it's nice knowing if I need the power it's there. I'm not sure why this machine isn't 200-300 more with the specs it has. I'm wondering what the downside is because I haven't found one yet.
Glad to hear you were able to pick one up! I feel the same way about this laptop. Nothing but good stuff so far!
I need a new laptop, and this will be it. Great value!!!
I've heard it has some black bar issue with display?
Is the screen bright enough for using it outdoors? Thanks for this review!
Not sure of exact measure of brightness, but to my very ordinary eyes, I'm gonna guess 300+ nits. Definitely should work for outdoor use. Thanks!
Gaming benchmarks would be appreciated.
Will see what I can do with a followup in the next few days. Thanks!
Here's my follow-up video with some additional info: ruclips.net/video/3tJGVLviL44/видео.html
awesome, thanks!
No regrets!
Glad you were able to pick this up while it was on sale! Thanks!
Laura Owens could you please confirm the battery life of the yoga 720?
Very good laptop. I had to get mine from Best Buy in the U.S. when I was visiting family as they don't sell them in the U.K. at the moment. Be careful with it though it scratches ridiculously easy. That really pissed me off as I only had it a day and there are 2 barely there hairline scratches. You cant see them unless you look for them but I'm a little OCD so it bothers me. Ah well I'll get over it lol.
This laptop would be a great candidate for D-Brand to do a skin for.
Thank you so much for this review. And that too for this particular model. Thank you again !!
Glad to help! It's been a great laptop so far!
Hi i got the laptop recently everything is great except the screen appears warm all the time (Night Mode effect) any idea how to brighten this up?
Should be able to adjust desktop color via the Intel control panel. It should be under "Display" and then "Color Settings".
Thanks......any particular setting.......I have dell xps 15 9550........screen is super bright in it.....
Not sure what to recommend. Brightness, color, etc are very subjective to individual tastes.
Achal Gupta do you have the full HD (1080p) or the 4k model? I noticed a yellowish tint in other reviews that had the full HD model but this review with the 4k panel seems to have a cool tone to it.
if my Desktop with GTX 980M can run CSGO at 4K60, then this should too I think!
Does the 13 inch model also has nvme pcie ssd? Do you have information on that model? Great review btw
Thanks for the note. I, unfortunately, do not have any info on that model. Will pass it along if I find out anything. Thanks!
Would you say it's better than the xps 15?
I really can't say since I haven't had any hands on time with the XPS 15. Sorry I'm no help on this one.
I swear these laptops are so cheaper in America than in Europe :(, The American dream.....
I picked up the 720 with less specs and its great.
Mine is 8gb ram , 256 gb ssd no gtx and for i need it runs great ...the i7 quad is legit..Full HD is just fine. i only paid 800 at bb
Sam Ismail how is the screen? Is it bright enough for a moderately lit room?
Andrei Agulescu Yeah definitely. Ive had zero issues since i purchased.
is it right to go for the i5-7300hq with gtx1050 according to my budget? Please help asap, thanks!
Obviously your budget is your call. Depending on your use case scenario, I would think that combination would be strong for most productivity and some gaming. Thanks!
Thanks a lot!
is it sufficient for auto cad, revit and other architecture softwares though?
Sorry for the trouble
It's no trouble. I really can't speak to architecture software since I've never used any. But, from what I understand, the more GPU/CPU power you can buy, the better. Thanks!
just some helpfull critic. mayspend less time on the transition effects or cut them all together and get screencaptures instead of filming the screen. Other than that really great review
Do the keys drop down in tablet mode? The current X1 Yoga does.
No, keys do not drop down from what I can tell. Lenovo settings disables the keys, but that's about it.
Thanks!
98.3 The Snake - The Classic Rock Station Great, thanks :)
what about the fan does it make a noisy sound when you are using chrome browseing or light gaming
Fan is completely silent (to my ears) when just doing regular web stuff and not loud during gaming either. No detectable whine that I can hear.
98.3 The Snake - The Classic Rock Station that amazing keep doing videos about thia laptop plz because it is amazing product specially about battery life time while the screen is in 4k
How's the trackpad? Is the material glass or metal or even plastic?
I don't generally use trackpads thanks to my affinity for good high dpi wireless mice. But, the trackpad is very smooth and seems responsive. I can't tell if it's some type of plastic. It's very smooth and easy to manipulate.
How are the thermals on this thing under load, like triple A gaming?
Like I said, have not done triple A gaming on this thing. Wife played The Long Dark, Astroneer and stuff like that with no trouble. No throttling or any heat problems.
Good video!!!
How are the hinges ? do they feel like they would give up?
Hinges seem solid. Obviously that's crucial for anyone that wants to truly use this as a convertible. Can't emphasize enough how high quality this chassis build is.
thnakyou, also Do the keys lower inside if the screen is flipped completely? lenovo has that function in some laptops to avoud that rattling of keys when in x360 mode.
The keys don't physically lower, but the Lenovo settings disable the keyboard if the laptop is put into tablet mode.
Nice to see your video, what a helpfull one.
Hey, can you tell me the detail of the colour accuracy?
I don't have anything to measure color accuracy, otherwise would be glad to help. All I can tell you is that, to my eyes, colors look bright but not blown out. As far as exact Adobe measurements, not sure.
Okay, that's fine.
Thanks for your respond. 😊
Nice! Keep up the good work. What's your time slot? I'll listen online.
I'm the mental midget that terrorizes listeners from 2 pm to 7 pm Monday thru Saturday. Here's our station website. Thanks again! 983thesnake.com/
74kWh battery WOT?
Did u play some game ( like witcher 3 or gta 5 )
I don't own GTA5, but will see if I can run this through some gameplay in a followup video soon. Thanks!
I'm a student so I'd rather not carry around cords if I don't have to.
do a battery usage test please
Just got one bro... How's the trackpad?
Please test the writing performance on this machine!
how much is the base model ?
This model (as of right now) is on sale at Best Buy for $1249. Amazing value.
I bought one this morning 1125 plus tax because best buy student promo.
How is the battery life on this??
Decent. Around 5 hours doing regular Internet stuff at full brightness.
Thanks!
98.3 The Snake - The Classic Rock Station Thank You so much!!You really helped
Horrible arrow keys though :( And not a lot of ports..
$1400? Not too bad with 4k screen. 1050 non ti is really light though. 1050 does contribute to good thermals though.
Different strokes for different folks, but for a 2-in-1 convertible, the 1050 is not light in my opinion. If someone is a triple A gamer, then they wouldn't normally be looking at something like this anyway. For someone who needs portability and wants to game a bit, haven't seen anything better than this.
Gigabyte Aero?
From what I hear, that's a great laptop, but in a different class since it's not a 2-in-1 convertible.
Nice video ! sdos.
Thanks for the kind words! This Yoga goes for $1399 at Best Buy at the moment!
hi , thanks for such a great review
can you please tell me where to buy this model , i search all over internet but couldn't find it any where so please help me i need it ASAP or if its unavailable then please guide me a similar laptop like this in any brand
thanks
hoping for some positive response like your video :)
i'm living in india so can't see any option to buy it for india , can you tell me if there is any way to order it for india
Being in the states, no way to know about India. I would try the Lenovo India website. www3.lenovo.com/in/en/
How is the wifi? Long range? Fast?
Haven't been able to test the range since our home is only so big. But, no connectivity problems at all. The Idaho ISP's in our area have data caps and throttles on service, so no really useful way to test the speed.
Oh good... Is it bulky/thick? Hard for school to carry around? When is your follow up video coming out?
It's not bulky compared to other 15's. Weighs just under 4 1/2 pounds. Planning to get follow up video done this week - sooner rather than later.
Battery life?
4 to 5 hours with screen at full brightness.
More of a fan boy video than a review. And for all that are planning to buy this, it doesn't turbo boost
VIJAY MADHAV what do you mean by that? The i7 7700hq supports turbo boost 2.0 to 3.8GHz
Nice review.
Fix your white balance tho =p
durrrrr I know about "white balance" and "production value" so I'll make a dumb criticism even though the video is perfectly fine
Manh change that name and will talk
how much
