after like 12 years of applying and trying to learn to use supply and demand, i finally "see it/get it". I dont see candles anymore, i see orders. I cant believe it took me so long, but impatience and being lazy really set me back. Better late than never I guess. Thank you so much Sam.
This is really good...the original demand and Supply... I entered at a point where it was being taught with lot of variables - Curve - Trend - Reward - Structure - Authenticity etc etc...also most instructors use that + technical indicators ...or others waiting for confirmation on trend change...causing lot of confusion ...this is eye opener ...seeing in terms of only structure and location is really a paradigm shift
On the Nasdaq trade at 25:00, why not use the gap down as a sell zone? Price being choppy BEFORE it gaped down doesnt mean anything because at the end of the choppy price action, there was an imbalance.
I didnt understand the part about pivot low NOT being S&D at 35:00. If anything, they are actually places where demands exceeded supply. Thats why price rallied up...
Look to the left that’s the zone the pivot is the reaction to the zone. Sometimes pivots are left with zones but the virgin zone is to the left of the pivot
Buy low and sell high in a contexte of a Daily Timeframe or less is great. But I do think the trend on the Weekly OR Monthly plays a big role in determining high probability set ups. Down trend on the Daily arriving at a buy zone = very cheap & High probability trade especially if the Weekly & Monthly is in an uptrend. The problem with trends is that people use them and determine them based on the H4, H1, M15, etc.
That's why I think we should take trends seriously into consideration. Other retail traders do.. since they influence our trades, we might as wel ride the trend with them.

I don't feel bad losing some money using traditional indicator based strategies. But, I am so sad I wasted my valuable time using those rubbish things. I was in the middle of ocean and I didn't have compass to know direction, where go, how go.
Why? It's the same principles.. If you've paid attention, you can do this yourself.... Don't rely on others when it's your own hard earned money that is at stake... Tembellik etme.

Sam, I see those gaps. Why don't you consider globex activity? How do you know if zones are fresh or not without looking at the globex?

No target... Trail it. Move your stop loss with your profit but there is a chance you will get stopped out (with profit).
