Man that bummed me out seeing Chris tap out like that. I hate to say it, I can relate to him quite a bit. Trying to overcome my negativity in rough moments, and be more reliable for the people I love. So much love to Fowler, and Chris and all of y'all's friends & family. Mush love to everyone 🙏
I think Chris should've at least had to "walk the plank" when he left😂
His ending would've been perfect that way. Just have him walk the plank and fall into the water and never show him again or mention him in additional videos. Would've been funny I think.
He was a drama llama. You could tell there were cuts from the video, so it was easier to just drop him off.

I don't think any of us understand how difficult it would be to do a challenge like this on a relatively small boat with another guy. You guys rock. Sorry Chris was getting a little burned out, I think the phone was the last straw. Hopefully he comes back.

Seeing you take your grandma out and interact with her the same way i interact with mine is so amazing ❤❤❤ i wish i could take my grandma out on a short adventure like that but she was recently diagnosed with altzimers and its and unfortunately is progressing faster then the doctors thought thank you for showing th intimate parts of your life as well zach your an inspiration to alot of people
Chris seemed like he wasn’t having fun the entire time.
This happens between friends when you get to comfortable with each other, people have to understand they are real people with real problems that are putting on a show

The 7 day Tote Boat adventure was much more fun to watch. Fowler needs to do another Texas/ BC 30 day challenge.

Why though? The build wasn't any more fun. I'd say the pirate ship was better. On the other hand now they seem tired I guess because the rooster keeps waking them up.
I loved that Macfowler part. Made me want to watch the ad since it was so entertaining. That is how you do ads on RUclips if you want your viewers to watch it. The skit showed the products in action, in an entertaining way. 😃

It's just you. Chris left due to his phone issues after it being recovered, Fowler talks about it after Chris leaves. People are so quick to find negativity when there hasn't been.

I really enjoy your adventures, and always when Chris can join you to. He certainly brings something special to the table. Since we are not on the boat with you, we don't know all of the factors that helped decide his early exit. Could we even last that long? It's easy to be an arm chair quarterback when we don't have all the details. His excitement while fishing is always contagious, and I don't even fish. Thanks for a great adventure. I am sure it was tough to see your 1st. mate need to leave. That would hurt my heart. Keep the fun coming. Really looking forward to the next installment. God bless.

You can tell that Zach was not happy Chris bailed out mid challenge. There was a very clear gap in filming between finding the phone and dropping Chris off. The way Chris practically jumped off the boat soon as they were in range of the dock tells you they had some heated conversations about the decision off camera. Won't be surprised if we see far less of Chris on the channel for a while. Obviously it's a big ask for someone to do 7 days on a boat but it's also a big project and Zach, seemingly, has supported Chris trying to launch his own channel.
I think you're reading a bit too far into this one man. I dont think its quite as dramatic as you think. Chris is young, so when he lost his phone, its like half of his world fell apart. Zach probably argued for staying on the boat, which probably annoyed Chris because Zach doesnt really comprehend a cell phone being so important (as he states in the video). Chris left because he couldnt bare to go 2 days without a phone and THAT is sad.
Zach I hope you and Chris have a conversation after the trip is over . I agree with you Zach about how much we are on our phones and other devices but how would we get to watch you or any other people ? You would lose money but that's the trade off.
My point is how does Chris not have a waterproof phone case while having a fishing youtube channel bizarre for sure

Just doscovered your channel a few weeks ago and I have really enjoyed this series! Its a shame Chris's phone broke, and i hope hes able to recover all of the files and photos that bring him important memories.
Its been so many years now since I've gone on my own adventures on my boat and this series is making me feel deeply nostalgic for it.

I enjoy the adventures I go on where I don’t have reception. Much more peaceful. Although I imagine the pressures of being stuck on a boat in bad weather with bad fishing and having to either help film or be filmed can get to a person. The phone was probably just the final straw.

Zach. Dude. Not everyone had experienced like you did on “alone”. Can’t expect everyone to be at your level. To be honest, Chris seemed to slowly show his frustration throughout the series when he gets quieter and quieter.
It's 7 days on a furnished boat dude with phones power ect. Absolutely nothing like alone at all

Zach obviously has the skills and patience to get through seven days on a “pirate ship” that has everything there for him. But Chris handled his stresses and frustrations differently. Not everyone is made out to handle change in environment so easily.

I don't think there's any bad blood between both of you I hope. It's such joy to see you both doing these amazing adventures. I was so happy to see Chris again on your videos. I just think Chris just had a bad day. It's true some people can't handle losing their phones. Is it a problem yes... I say that because if you can't keep going on in life without a phone that's scary. I've lost a phone and yes it sucks but you just go on till you can replace it.

This whole season seems off to me. I was really excited with build episodes and looked forward to the new season, but once they hit the water everything kinda went stale. I of course could be wrong, but neither one of you looked like you were 100% invested in doing this. It almost seems like you’re not enjoying it as much, like it’s more of a job/task you want to get though. Fowler and Chris seemed more interested in being apart doing their own thing. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate everyone’s hard work going into this and I’m still enjoying watching the series but wanted to share(most likely my unwanted) opinion

I can totally see why he was so irritated amd I would've been as well, personally i think he should've stayed on because the phones messed up either way but I wasn't in that situation to be fair.
