I’m going through a very similar life path choice! I am a musical artist but I want to get into the music industry in a non-performing/more stable position. I was contemplating for months what that would be and then I realized, I always pay attention to the music that shapes scenes in movies and tv shows. I’ve even had playlists with songs that would fit certain scenarios! It’s always been there, but for some reason I wrote it off as being something I couldn’t get into until I’m more established in my performing career, which is completely untrue. I’m so excited to continue on this journey :)
Good luck to you on your journey! I hope it’s working out for you, a year later 😊

Am I just insane that I have always loved music and stuff, but when it came to actually wanting a job in music this was the first thing I wanted to do?

Also it’s so weird that tik tok has basically turned every kid into miniature music supervisors of their own films 😅
