I am not even busting my own stash, I am busting my grandmothers stash that I inherited 😊gives me a nice reason to think of her and how much crafting and creativity she has given/learned me through the years
Congratulations on your one year Podiversary! I've enjoyed everyone of your podcasts. You have the best music to start and end your podcasts. Love, love your yarn buying clauses. Thank you Leanne for the joy you have brought to my knitting life in the last year. Looking forward to many more flights. Wishing you joy in your knitting. With appreciation, Sarah
Really enjoyed this episode so much. I also browse yarn online adding it to the cart and then practice my self control and delete it. Thought it was just me 😂 The times when it’s just impossible to do this I reach for the ‘clause’ in my personal yarn contract that says ‘yarn that’s been in and out of your cart 3 times already’❤️
So I made a challenge to my yarn addiction habit, to not buy any yarn for a year! I shop in my closet stash now and have done pretty well. My clauses are” I need one more ball to finish my sweater “ and “ I’m allowed one advent calendar purchase just cuz…”. Now when I see a yarn I just absolutely love , I tell myself “ you can buy that yarn , just not this year.” So far it’s working ♥️
🎉Congrats Leanne, on your 1 year Podiversary! I've enjoyed so many of your traveling knitting adventures! I have not been too good at limiting my yarn purchases of late. But, planning to put a stop in the near future! Thanks for sharing your projects and the lovely Giveaway! Really enjoyed seeing your hometown Calgary!🧶🦋
I’m definitely an armchair traveller so I love seeing all the places you visit. The ‘clause’ in my yarn contract is ‘Bargain’, I can’t resist them, especially a half price sale.
Congratulation on the One Year podiversary!!!🥳🥳🥳This was an outstanding episode. I really really enjoyed it and I enjoy looking at all of your FO's and WIP's. I also really enjoy the outdoor travel videos and LYS videos...just lovely.
Congratulations from the NW of Calgary on your one year podiversary. What a great way to celebrate by showcasing this wonderful city. Thank you for sharing your Canada adventures with the knitting community. I enjoy them. Great knits as well. Take Care.
I went on a no buy journey 8 years ago. Exceptions..... if I need yarn for a gift knit.....visiting a new shop....supporting my local shop so it doesn't close, so it's still there in the future when I need more yarn! No wonder my stash hasn't reduced! Lovely to see your home town.
I'm from the United States, so I appreciate learning anything I can about Canada. I once spent a couple of hours at the Toronto airport on my way back to Wisconsin, but otherwise, I've only visited with you! Sometimes my yarn contract is "only if I have a predetermined project", but mostly it's just "buy whatever you like!" I LOVE Arcane Fiberworks!
Congratulations on your 1 year anniversary-well done, YOU! I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Vancouver, Banff, Lake Louise, Calgary, Montreal, Quebec, PEI, and other stops on a cruise of eastern Canada. My dream would be to live in Canada - you are the most welcoming people! 🙏
Thoroughly enjoy this episode and thank you for showing us around Calgary. I think there should be a clause when Podcasters are showing us their amazing yarn and then we feel the urge to go out and buy the same thing not to mention a clause for tools needed to knit our new projects like interchangeable knitting needles. Congratulation on your 1 year podiversary 🎉 looking forward to many more adventures in your travels.
I visited Calgary for only 3 days 45yrs ago, then on to Vanderhoof, BC. I remember there being so much growth in Calgary at the time, construction everywhere. I'd love to visit Halifax again...we went in 2018. I got so choked up when we visited the Harbour area, I don't know why. A highlight was seeing the Blue Nose...a silhouette I've seen on the dime since 1967. Happy podiversary....along with all the knitty goodness, I appreciate your openness about your sobriety. To hear people be open makes one feel not as much an oddball 😊❤
Congratulations on your one year podiversary! But more importantly, thank you for a year of you! Thank you for taking us along. After the Kelowna episode, I told my husband that I want to go there! Add it to the travel list! I have pretty good discipline when it comes to knitting from stash, but my caveat is “travel” knits. I like to treat myself to small projects, hats or socks, for travelling. That way, not only do I have a new project when I travel, but it gets imbued with memories of the place! Safe travels always and many blessings ❤
Congratulations Sister! Happy 1 year podiversary! Your light, love, joy, and genuine enthusiasm for the fibre community shines so brightly and authentically through every episode!
Hi Leanne, Congrats on your 1 year anniversary.I always enjoy them. The Halifax podcasts and Charlottetown podcast have been favorites. Enjoyed the visit to your hometown this time too. Knitting and traveling is a sure win for me.
Congratulations on your one year Podiversary 🎉looking forward to watching many more. I definitely got a chuckle on the items you had in your Shopping cart then removed them from your cart. That’s willpower. Congratulations!
as usual, your travel log was great - all of your favorite places in your home town. I also really enjoyed seeing Ottawa - and all of the historic references. Beautiful places all of the cities you get to visit as a "stew"! I 'm hopeful to swing up to Canada sooner than later, have only been to Vancouver. So many places now on my list after watching this podcast. Thanks Leanne.
HAPPY ONE YEAR PODIVERSARY!!!! So glad I found your podcast early on!! I am not sure how good I have been on the ball busting situation. My "clause" is I can buy sock yarn....that is a single skein, doesn't take up much space, socks are always needed by someone....need I say more???? Ha Ha!!!
Congratulations Leeann!!! I absolutely love all your podcasts and I want to knit everything you knit!! Of course my favourite city that you visited was St. John’s Newfoundland because that’s where I was born 🥰🤣🤗🥳🇨🇦
Congrats on 1 year anniversary. So glad I found you at the start. Halifax visit was special as my daughter spent a year there as an exchange student 30 years ago and we watched your footage together. Pre-Covid I made a vow not to buy any more yarn until I had reduced my stash to a couple of storage tubs. I've not bought a single gram but the universe keeps sending me yarn via donations from friends who lost their knitting Mums but don't craft themselves, strangers who heard I do charity knits and my local women's service club. My stash is larger than it ever was. I think the universe wants me to keep on knitting for the less fortunate. Thank you Aunt Dorothy for giving me the gift of knitting 76 years ago.
Your new kerchief cowl is lovely! The character of the Crux Fibre Yarn looks so amazing in the close ups near the end of this episode. Your love of your home town shines through. Happy Knitting! Roxanne.
Congratulations on your podcast anniversary. I’m looking forward to this next year. Seven Jan shops in one city, yes, Calgary is the city I want to visit. Thank you for the introduction to your hometown and your lovely Yarn Shop’s.
I enjoy every podcast but one that stands out to me is the one from Edmonton where you visited Statement Junkie in Sherwood Park. It’s a great store and Andrea is super nice. I live about 10 minutes from the shop and I’ve contributed to her profits quite regularly. Many congratulations on your one year podiversary.
Hi Leanne, I’m Bobbi. The top 2 clauses on my list of rationalizing yarn purchases are 1. Discontinued Yarn 2. New Yarn for a Test Knit! I really do enjoy each and every one of your podcast locations. My favorite one was about Newfoundland. Just like you said it is Heaven on Earth. Happy 1 Year Podiversary!! 🎉❤
Happy Podiversary! For the give-away, my favourite city you visited is St John’s, closely followed by Charlottetown/Belfast. Yes, this Vancouver girl is a big east coast fan.
Congratulations Leanne on your 1 year Podiversary, I've loved them all!!! 🎆🎈💐 I couldn't pick just one city to be my favorite that you've visited, you have made them all look wonderful in your footage. As far as only using stash yarn, I've been doing great so far, 👍. The tassel looks great on your cowl just the way it is. Thank you for mentioning me on the podcast, I feel like a superstar now. lol. Always a Beautiful episode, your knits are amazing, and yarn, of course the tour around Calgary was awesome and so informative. Love it!!! Always a pleasure, Thank you!! 🤗 😃
Hiii Sue! Good job on the bustingmyballs2023 challenge. I hope your Dickie worked out in the end. You saved others frustration and the “math headache” by getting me to fix the numbers!
I have visited Calgary a couple of times, when my son and his family lived there. The last time was in 2013. We had hiked up to Grassi Lakes by Canmore, and headed back to our son's place just before the town was evacuated. Our son has since moved to Vancouver Island. I haven't placed a moratorium on buying yarn, but I don't often need to, as I receive gifts of yarn from a group that knits for charity. They only use machine wash and dry yarn, but receive donations. Any natural fibre yarns are passed on to me. I am so blessed.
Busting my balls is so inspiring, I have so much yarn and it inspired me to go digging and also donate what doesn’t make my heart sing anymore. Thank you for your great podcasts, happy knitting, stay happy. 😊
My clause - if it doesn’t get shipped to my home it doesn’t count. 😬 Happy Pod-iversary!!!🎉 Thrilled Quinnie emerged from her cat-cation. Of course my old home of Regina was my favourite city!❤
Congratulations on one year podcasting Leanne. My favourite place you took us so far was Kelowna - how did I miss visiting there during trips to Vancouver! I am trying to finish all outstanding wins before the Kitchener-Waterloo Knitters Fair in September. I should be successful...and then I can purchase as much as I like😁Looking forward to our next adventure with you.
Hi Leanne, many congratulations on your first podcast anniversary!!! Always interesting, inspiring and encouraging, love seeing what you are working on. Very refreshing to hear you speak about those projects that maybe go their own way and maybe are not what you expected… as we all have happen. My favourite city visit has been the beautiful and welcoming St. John’s, Newfoundland. Looking forward to seeing many more of your adventures!!! Many congratulations 🥳👏💕
Happy one year podaversary 🎉 I’ve been watching since the beginning and love seeing all the “new to me” places you get to and, of course, all the knitty goodness. Thanks for taking the time to podcast!
Thank you for all of the glimpses of the Canadian cities you visit and your home "town". It's such a treat. My favorite was PEI because I'm fascinated by "island life".
Happy podaversary! Thank you for sharing your space, your crafting and your town. It has been great “traveling “ with you and being at home. Congratulations on using your stash and your clauses make perfect sense!😉
Congrats one your one year anniversary! The favorite place you visited for me was Victoria. I spent the most wonderful week there 10 years ago on a knitting retreat and it brought back wonderful memories. Thank you for a beautiful podcast.
What a fun episode. Your Quinn is such a beautiful kitty. So glad she is safe. Enjoyed the tour of Calgary so much. I’ve been dreaming of meeting my favorite BC knitter there for ages. I think it’s time. Congratulations on your podiversary! The yarn is beautiful & I love that it matches your favorite tea. Thank you for the giveaway. I’d love to see you film Quebec City in the future. :-)
Hi Leanne, you’re welcome. I wish I had a room just for my sewing and things that I own and it would be wonderful. I live in assisted living now and there’s not very much room and three rooms for sewing. However, I love it and I make room and I enjoy your program very much. That’s all I have to say at the moment, but go girl😊😊😊😊😊😊 😊😊
I have loved all of the mini vacations you've taken me on,, Ihope you keep doing it. Congrats on your podcast anniversay and thank you for the giveaway. Love that yarn!!
Congratulations Leanne!!! 🎉 I enjoy all of your episodes so it's so difficult to choose my fav. Visiting Nfld with you was a special one because it's on the opposite side of our country. I love hearing about the cities' history and popping into the different LYS. My contract includes the clause 'stash stash stash'. Again- congratulations! ❤
Hi Leanne! Congratulations on your podiversery. I have been following you since the gitgo. I'm from the US.,so I really enjoy all the Canadian cities you share with us. I also enjoy you mentioning and thanking the original peoples of the land. Keep up the good work, and the great knitting!
Our knitting group instituted a stashbuster challenge also with as many rules as exceptions😊. We have also participated in a stash yard sale which equally diminished my stash and increased my stash. All in all, an awareness of what, why, when we are buying helps limit purchases. It is difficult especially when there are so many yarn pretties……its like chocolate. Love your podcast!
My I can buy it clause is “Oooh it’s on sale!” That give away yarn is GORGEOUS. My favourite city is Venice and as I often visit friends in Austria, who live very close to the Italian border, I get to go frequently. I live in England. 🏴
I’ve been watching you fir one year and am grateful I found you 😊💝 I lived in Calgary/Strathmore for a bit and miss God’s country very much Love Arcane Fiber wool I’ve just started getting some beautiful yarn in Canada so have a small stash !!! Your Tolsta Tee is so gorgeous fits you like a glove !! Keep up the beautiful Pods love you lots 😊💝😊🇨🇦🇨🇦
Loud clapping on your podiversary!!! Thanks for offering this giveaway. That yarn is so beautiful! In answer to your question, I really enjoyed your Halifax episode…a friend of mine recently moved there and I got to see her new hometown in that episode. I hope to see it for real in 2024.
Love.... love all your podcasts. Love that I can travel with you and see our beautiful Canada , different cities and all so interesting with history that you provide for us. Your knitting project are beautiful and very inspiring. Thank you so much and wishing you wonderful days at home- Calgary is amazing city❤
Love watching The Knitty Stew. Thank you for taking us on your travels. Congratulations 🎉 on your 1 year Pod-aversary. My clause is if its Canadian I can buy it.
Another gorgeous episode, always inspiring, gentle and utterly enjoyable. Thank you for taking us along and know you are appreciated. Good luck with your training and sharing your time. ❤
I just love your podcast, both for the knitting and the sightseeing adventures! Happy Podiversary!!! The clause in my yarn contract is whether it has sat in my cart for more than a week, and every time I go to delete it I say "No, not yet!!" Of course, the budget, overall, has a big bearing on the purchases! : )
Congratulations for your 1 year anniversary. You are a positive person and bring so much to each episode (laughter, information, honesty) and I enjoy watching your episodes while knitting. I am also using up my stash before buying more in 2023.
I have enjoyed all your travels but so far enjoyed the Edmonton episode local footage. The countryside is so beautiful in all of it it is hard to pick just one. I had to laugh at the clauses. I really should knit and chrochet from stash but plan to retire at the end of the year so I shamelessly buy what I want in yarn this year. Congrats on year podaversary.
Congratulations on your 1st anniversary ❤. I have so enjoyed your podcast! I love all your adventures and want to travel to the places in Canada you have shared with us! Looking forward to more adventures with you ✈️
Hi Leeann, Hugh congratulations on the 1 year anniversary, I am so enjoying the episode. So I will say that I was totally smitten with the Ancient Arts shop and paused the episode and immediately enacted the "I need to try some of the Ancient Arts Mohair now clause" and placed an online order right away? Kudos for showing us this amazing yarn goodness available at our fingertips❤️
On the beautiful Mic Cowl, I love the tassel because it gives the lower edge weight enough to make it lay to it's best advantage. There used to be an old health food store in that area back in the early 70's. It was a wonderful area. I sure would love to see it again. Wow, the city has grown so much.
Congratulations on 1 year Leanne! I love your podcast. I live in Calgary and have for years but am from Kelowna. It's so fun seeing all the Canadian cities with you. I live downtown and even got to see my tower in your video! My husband and I LOVE Inglewood too! Hope to see you at a knit night sometime! 😊
I visited Calgary in August 2018 and stayed in an Airbnb near Inglewood. I walked to Stash and the zoo! I even walked to downtown Calgary! I was out your way for a 10 day trek on horseback in the Kananaskis Valley. I'm from a small town East of Ottawa, Ontario. 😊
Happy happy Podaversary 🎉🤗 I’ve also written in several Clauses: The Irish yarn clause, the Great Bargain clause, the Limited Colourway/Breed clause, and the Yarn When Travelling clause. Oh yeah, and the Test Knit yarn clause. 😅
Congratulations on 1 year podiversary! 🎉 I love the idea of “busting balls” stash knitting. While I have adopted your form of it I’ve been trying to knit at least 2 projects from stash before buying a full projects worth of yarn. I’ve really enjoyed each and every episode showing us around Canada. I’ve been to a few places but never really exploring just to visit family or to go fishing. Looking forward to your next episode.
Happy podversary! I love that you are showing off the places you stopover in Canada. I live just north of Toronto. There’s so much to see in the larger cities that you could always revisit cities and show different areas. I’m weak when it comes to yarn. If I see it I want it. I haven’t bought much online but the Arcane fibres certainly attracts me. I’ve studied their yarn several times. Thank you for what you share.
Still catching up here and working my way through all of your videos. I really admire the way you are so mindful when choosing a pattern to do justice to a beautiful yarn such as the one with Mic's fleece. I also love how you are so honest about things that don't work out. It can be so easy to become disheartened when things are not quite a triumph and you show how these are just lessons learned in the journey of a knitter. I appreciate this all the more today as I put my head down to frog a well-established project after discovering one minor error and one not so minor. I am happy to start again as I have learned that I am a process knitter and the discipline of that is beneficial to me both in knitting and in other endeavours. Thank you for taking the time to make these glorious, joyful videos. Mary 😊
Hi Mary 👋 I truly appreciate your message here. Spoiler alert: Lots more frogging ahead in the upcoming episodes. But, like you, I have come to accept that it’s just part of the journey. Definitely gotten easier to just rip and move forward over the years. That is PROGRESS in my books. Happy knitting and thanks for watching!
Congratulations One Year Podiversery!! 👏Have been following you for almost a year. I love the travels and video from Cities all over our fair country Canada. Armchair travelling is fabulous with you because I learn where all the sites are and the Yarn shops. Great !! really liked your homey episode - Calgary is fab. Thx for sharing positive makes and unfortunate mistakes, ya we learn from every knit esp the garments. Keep on...... The clause I have to live by right now is "Keep Following Leanne's Advice" aka be a ball buster. Using stash yarn makes you really think and search for design elements and make sure to swatch. Favorite clause, "the stash project requires a yarn to hold together for xyz project". Please continue to promote Canadian makers, patterns, yarn, dyers, mills, and flocks: in itself a clause - only buy local! ❤ Thx so very much for truly Canadian awareness in every podcast. No pressure, love your podcast, keep up the incredible effort 🤩
Happy 1 year celebrations, I enjoyed the Vancouver Island visits…also diligently working on using spinning, knitting, dyeing stash which has been piling up for a very long time…it’s all fun. Thank you.
Congratulations!! 🎉 As an OG, from your very first episode, I've enjoyed all our time together. I spent this whole episode nodding my head and shouting Yes! at the screen. My clause would be about holes needing to be filled in the basket I just pulled yarn from (so the yarn around the hole doesn't get cold or lonely). I loved your east coast visits!!
Congratulations Leanne. I love the thought and meaning in every episode. My husband was cracking up about busting my balls. He was only listening and not watching so out of context it had him wondering about my racy internet podcasts. 😮I have been meaning to get that book, but keep forgetting -you have inspired me. Happy knitting and thank you so much for your content. Be well and fly safely!
Thanks for keeping me company the other day while I baked batch of buns! I loved seeing some of your favourite spots in Calgary. Congrats on your first podiversary!
Happy podcast anniversary, I have enjoyed every episode since the first one, but I think this was the best one yet. Your bouncy dancing was such fun as well as seeing so much of your hometown. I have to say I love the clauses of your ball busting destash.
Congratulations on your anniversary!! You are such a light in this fiber community 🤗🥰 thinking of all the places you visited... the PEI episode was my favorite because it brought up memories of our visit there a few years ago. Keep up the good work, my friend! I'll be cheering you on!
I'm so happy you created a channel Leanne. I love how you combine knitting with Canadian tours. I have learned so much! 💜🧶 I love all of your yarn buying clauses and all your projects. I don't have any yarn buying clauses. My favorite overnight city that you visited was Newfoundland. That town is so beautiful. I loved the different color houses. You captured the town so well.
Glad Quinny cat re-appeared. I find him very relatable: as a toddler i crawled into the linen closet and can still recall both falling asleep on the towel shelf, enveloped in cozy, soft, fresh laundry smells and waking up many hours later, groggy, to the sound of an unfamilar voice- it was the sound of a policeman in our living room talking to my crying mother- she had looked everywhere in the house and in the neighborhood.... Been steadfastly burning through my stash this year. My clause is to be pretty strict but to be very kind to myself as well. I feel like the balance is being re-set to greater intention. My clause is that tit's fine to aquire new yarn if it is "necessary" to advance a project with yarn from my stash and that acting on that clause needs no complicated negotiation with myself, just a heart to heart with myself to check i am on the up and up! Thank you for letting us accompany your yarn and Canadian journeys. I love seeing all the places....esp. loved St Johns since it is just up the road (a long road from New England!) from me ...Also Regina because i have always wondered about it ....
@@theknittystew Thankful both that you and my mom survived! BTW thank you for a lovely year of your sharing - i stumbled across your very first vlog right when it came out and mind blown on the simple and wonderful concept - i love how you interweave your yarn jounrney with your work world travel and deeply appreciate your acknowledgements of the native land. Many threads run through our lives and i love how you have created a tapestry of connection through this platform. WIshing you a wonder-filled year of yarny and peaceful goodness.
Leanne! Almost 1000 comments here. I have enjoyed traveling with you since pod one. You bring such enthusiasm and joy to each venture. I too dislike yarn overs where my marker has to be placed for lace repeats. And, I knit the Birds and Ships in 2019-way to small. Will have to gift to my 10 year old granddaughter. Thank you for sharing such warmth and genuine happiness. I wish the same to you.
Happy Podiversary! I wish I could visit Calgary some day. About 10 years ago, my husband went with my two older children while I stayed home. He said it was to visit his king fu buddies. Lo and behold, he comes home and mentions having gone to Banff and Lake Louise! I was so jealous. So… some day I hope to visit Calgary and maybe have a cup of coffee or tea with you while I explore your home town.
Congratulations on one year of podcasting! I recently discovered your podcast and have since bingewatched all the episodes. I love your energy, your knitting choices (I'm also in love with my Zweig;) and really appreciate your guiding tours around your beautiful country. My wool buying clause is "it's not an expense it's a investment in my hapiness". Many more safe travels with us✈🧶🌎
Happy podiversary. I've enjoyed each layover city that you share with me and especially sharing the history and background of the city. The yarns that you use cause me to salivate ... excuse me while I wipe away the dribble. 😊😊
Congratulations on your podiversary! I have watched you from the start and love your mix of knitting and travel. It's extremely unlikely that I will ever visit Canada (though I would love to!) and visiting vicariously with you is a joy. I'm also tickled by 'Calgrie' - it must be similar to 'Tronno' 😉
Leanne I still think of your early podcast where you show off your Haap I believe you may have been in your lounge. The joy you have brought me & the kindness you radiate is one in a million 🎉. It’s just great all you podcasters from around the world you have brought Canada so much closer and it is by far my number one country to visit. One day 🙏🏻. I only buy yarn when I need it as income determines these days as I no longer work. Your local yarn stores wow spoilt for choice. Look forward 101 episode 😂
Congratulations!! I love seeing ALL your destinations. You have a great eye and your videos are so entertaining. You need to make a sweater in that gorgeous Malabrigo green! That is your color for sure!
I really enjoy your podcasts as they allow me to see more of my own country. The Halifax podcast was terrific as I live on the west coast - Vancouver - and have always wanted to see the east coast. Congratulations on your one year anniversary.
Visiting Banff has been on my bucketlist for years! I've watched you from the beginning, and your podcast quickly became my favorite. You are an excellent tour guide:) Thank you so much.
Awesome! Thank you Cheri for being an OG! Standing on the shore of Lake Louise in Banff is surreal. It is like a postcard. The incredible view alone of the mountains and glacier blue green water will take your breath away.
I am not even busting my own stash, I am busting my grandmothers stash that I inherited 😊gives me a nice reason to think of her and how much crafting and creativity she has given/learned me through the years
Love that!
Thank you so much Sarah! This made my heart happy!
I am learned that A LOT of us do this! I love our freaky fibre ways!
I bean to Canada banff long time ago..my daughter going there in may with family
This makes solid sense to me! My single skein stash is a problem and I usually need another ball or 4 to complete a garment! Ohh dear.
That is a tremendous amount of restraint, I don’t have a large enough stash yet to start being hard on myself… one day though 😁
Ohh if I knew then what I know now… I would only buy kits for projects
🎉Congrats Leanne, on your 1 year Podiversary! I've enjoyed so many of your traveling knitting adventures!
I have not been too good at limiting my yarn
purchases of late. But, planning to put a stop in the near future! Thanks for sharing your projects and the lovely Giveaway! Really enjoyed seeing your hometown Calgary!🧶🦋
Thank you so much Sharon!
I’m definitely an armchair traveller so I love seeing all the places you visit. The ‘clause’ in my yarn contract is ‘Bargain’, I can’t resist them, especially a half price sale.
I am so sorry to read this. I went and watched you recent video and hope you are getting stronger at home.. no place like home to recover. 🙏🏼💖
That is definitely a legitimate clause!
Congratulation on the One Year podiversary!!!🥳🥳🥳This was an outstanding episode. I really really enjoyed it and I enjoy looking at all of your FO's and WIP's. I also really enjoy the outdoor travel videos and LYS videos...just lovely.
Thank you so much!! 🤗
I have loved every episode and I can’t wait for many many more. Congratulations Leanne. 🎉🎉
Thank you Rosemary!!
Congratulations from the NW of Calgary on your one year podiversary. What a great way to celebrate by showcasing this wonderful city. Thank you for sharing your Canada adventures with the knitting community. I enjoy them. Great knits as well. Take Care.
Congratulations on one year! I have been watching from the beginning and have enjoyed every episode. I love seeing Canada. Thanks!
Awesome! Thank you Pam (original gangsta)!

Thank you so much Kim! I am a proud Canadian (obviously haha!)
Congratulations on one year! Love seeing all of the different towns in Canada

Oh NOOO 😯 I just realized I AM A PART of the problem! 😆 The “Podcaster Made Me Want It” Clause! Yikes
Thank you so much Sandra I have enjoyed reading your messages always!
Aww 🥹 Thank you so much sister 🤗 🌺🌺
I am soo weak! But sometimes I can muster up the willpower 💪🏼
as usual, your travel log was great - all of your favorite places in your home town. I also really enjoyed seeing Ottawa - and all of the historic references. Oh YES, I agree with Lynne. My clause is a bargain. That's always the first places I look!!! And Birthday month.
Judith I love this, and I agree, I think that is definitely what the universe is saying and good on ya !!
Kelowna for sure!!! Thank for another great episode!! Congratulations on one year!! 🎉🎉🎉
Yay! Thank you Jenn!
Your new kerchief cowl is lovely! The character of the Crux Fibre Yarn looks so amazing in the close ups near the end of this episode. Your love of your home town shines through. Happy Knitting! Roxanne.
Thank you Roxanne! 🤗
Thank you, Bobbi! 🌺🌸🤍
🤗
Busting my balls is so inspiring, I have so much yarn and it inspired me to go digging and also donate what doesn’t make my heart sing anymore. Thank you for your great podcasts, happy knitting, stay happy. 😊
Thank you, Catherine! Happy Knitting & BALLBUSTING!!
My clause - if it doesn’t get shipped to my home it doesn’t count. 😬
Happy Pod-iversary!!!🎉
Thrilled Quinnie emerged from her cat-cation.
Of course my old home of Regina was my favourite city!❤
That is a SOLID Clause! Yay YQR!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations on one year podcasting Leanne. My favourite place you took us so far was Kelowna - how did I miss visiting there during trips to Vancouver! I am trying to finish all outstanding wins before the Kitchener-Waterloo Knitters Fair in September. I should be successful...and then I can purchase as much as I like😁Looking forward to our next adventure with you.
Thank you so much Pat!
Thank you so much!
Happy one year podaversary 🎉 I’ve been watching since the beginning and love seeing all the “new to me” places you get to and, of course, all the knitty goodness. Thanks for taking the time to podcast!
Thank you Denise I appreciate you being here the whole time! 🌺
Thank you for all of the glimpses of the Canadian cities you visit and your home "town". It's such a treat. My favorite was PEI because I'm fascinated by "island life".
I love island life! Pretty much anywhere on the East coast (and yes PEI is amazing) 😍
Happy podaversary! Thank you for sharing your space, your crafting and your town. It has been great “traveling “ with you and being at home. Congratulations on using your stash and your clauses make perfect sense!😉
Thank you, Patricia!
Congrats one your one year anniversary! The favorite place you visited for me was Victoria. I spent the most wonderful week there 10 years ago on a knitting retreat and it brought back wonderful memories. Thank you for a beautiful podcast.
Thank you Janness! I would love to go to a knitting retreat on Vancouver island!!
I would love to see myself in Quebec city too!
Fingers crossed !
Hi Leanne, you’re welcome. I wish I had a room just for my sewing and things that I own and it would be wonderful. I live in assisted living now and there’s not very much room and three rooms for sewing. However, I love it and I make room and I enjoy your program very much. That’s all I have to say at the moment, but go girl😊😊😊😊😊😊
😊😊
I have loved all of the mini vacations you've taken me on,, Ihope you keep doing it. Congrats on your podcast anniversay and thank you for the giveaway. Love that yarn!!
Congratulations Leanne!!! 🎉 I enjoy all of your episodes so it's so difficult to choose my fav. Visiting Nfld with you was a special one because it's on the opposite side of our country. I love hearing about the cities' history and popping into the different LYS. My contract includes the clause 'stash stash stash'. Again- congratulations! ❤
Thank you so much Rita!! What a lovely message. The STASH CLAUSE 😆
Hi Leanne! Congratulations on your podiversery. I have been following you since the gitgo. I'm from the US.,so I really enjoy all the Canadian cities you share with us. I also enjoy you mentioning and thanking the original peoples of the land. Keep up the good work, and the great knitting!
Thank you so much Jan for trekking along from the beginning! Hug 🤗
Hi Cathy! Our stash management really is our lot in life as knitters … and I’m ok with this “issue”
My I can buy it clause is “Oooh it’s on sale!” That give away yarn is GORGEOUS. My favourite city is Venice and as I often visit friends in Austria, who live very close to the Italian border, I get to go frequently. I live in England. 🏴
💖
I’ve been watching you fir one year and am grateful I found you 😊💝
I lived in Calgary/Strathmore for a bit and miss God’s country very much
Love Arcane Fiber wool
I’ve just started getting some beautiful yarn in Canada so have a small stash !!!
Your Tolsta Tee is so gorgeous fits you like a glove !!
Keep up the beautiful Pods love you lots 😊💝😊🇨🇦🇨🇦
Thank you Debbie! 🤗💗💖😊
Thank you KC! I hope you see it in 2024 too! Delightful place.
Congratulations on your one year anniversary. I love your podcast. I live in Calgary so I love your view of the city. Keep up the great
work.
Thank you Brenda! 🌷
Love.... love all your podcasts. Love that I can travel with you and see our beautiful Canada , different cities and all so interesting with history that you provide for us. Your knitting project are beautiful and very inspiring. Thank you so much and wishing you wonderful days at home- Calgary is amazing city❤
Congratulations on your first year anniversary. 🎉❤❤❤
Love watching The Knitty Stew. Thank you for taking us on your travels. Congratulations 🎉 on your 1 year Pod-aversary. My clause is if its Canadian I can buy it.
Thank you so much! Good Clause!
Congrats on 1 year, from New York. Thank you for all of your postings.
Thank you!
I like your Calgary podcast the best. Thanks for showing us all around Canada, you are a wonderful tour guide. Looking forward to the next podcast.
Another gorgeous episode, always inspiring, gentle and utterly enjoyable. Thank you for taking us along and know you are appreciated. Good luck with your training and sharing your time. ❤
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much Jacqueline! 😃
Haha!! I do not blame you at ALL!! Smitten over here too.
Absolutely beautiful Calgary 🌷 Beautiful cowl 🤍
Thank you!
On the beautiful Mic Cowl, I love the tassel because it gives the lower edge weight enough to make it lay to it's best advantage.
There used to be an old health food store in that area back in the early 70's. It was a wonderful area. I sure would love to see it again.
Wow, the city has grown so much.
Love that Olan Ponderosa!!!
Bowness Health Foods is actually still there! Where are you living now Kathleen?
Congratulations on your 1 year podiversary! Your projects are all so nice and the yarn shops you took us to are amazing.
Thank you Debbie! 🌺🤍
Thank you Tara I’m sure we will!
Yay!!! It sure has gone quickly!!! Congratulations!
It really has zoomed by! Thank you Deb ☀️
So cool!
Love that! Thank you Gale!
Thank you Maureen!
Congratulations on your 1 year anniversary! I truly enjoy every podcast I watch. And now you have inspired me to bust some balls!!
Thank you Claudia! I am a trying to BustMyBalls but seem to be off track, I’ll blame that on Birthday Month, and get back at it!
Wow!! I do love that red beanie on you. Fantastic colour.
Oh thank you Linda! Been loving the orange and reds lately.
Congratulations 🎉 Leanne. Well done, can't believe it's been a year. I so enjoy your podcasts. Thank you.
Thank you so much Kim and thanks for being here !
Quebec City & Montreal are two destinations that call out and Travel Yarn is always an exception!
Yes Darcy I agree on both of those points!
Thx so very much for truly Canadian awareness in every podcast. No pressure, love your podcast, keep up the incredible effort 🤩
This is such a great message! I laughed at “follow Leanne’s advice” … be a ball buster, unless you must come up with a Clause to buy yarn 🤣
Happy 1 year celebrations, I enjoyed the Vancouver Island visits…also diligently working on using spinning, knitting, dyeing stash which has been piling up for a very long time…it’s all fun. Thank you.
Thank you, Margaret 🌺🌺
Congratulations!! 🎉 As an OG, from your very first episode, I've enjoyed all our time together. I spent this whole episode nodding my head and shouting Yes! at the screen. My clause would be about holes needing to be filled in the basket I just pulled yarn from (so the yarn around the hole doesn't get cold or lonely). I loved your east coast visits!!
Thank you Carol I do appreciate you being here from the very start!!
Happy Podiversary. Have enjoyed your podcasts very much. Learning about your country and beautiful places and seeing your knits. Thank you.
Thank you Terry!
Calgary my favorite!
Hahaha!! This message cracked me up. Thank you for watching and your husband too! 😆
Thanks for keeping me company the other day while I baked batch of buns! I loved seeing some of your favourite spots in Calgary.
Congrats on your first podiversary!
Mmmm…buns. 🤤
Thank you!!
Happy podcast anniversary, I have enjoyed every episode since the first one, but I think this was the best one yet. Your bouncy dancing was such fun as well as seeing so much of your hometown. I have to say I love the clauses of your ball busting destash.
Wow, thank you Janet an OG!
Congratulations on your anniversary!! You are such a light in this fiber community 🤗🥰 thinking of all the places you visited... the PEI episode was my favorite because it brought up memories of our visit there a few years ago. Keep up the good work, my friend! I'll be cheering you on!
Thank you so much, Corinne
I'm so happy you created a channel Leanne. I love how you combine knitting with Canadian tours. I have learned so much! 💜🧶 I love all of your yarn buying clauses and all your projects. I don't have any yarn buying clauses. My favorite overnight city that you visited was Newfoundland. That town is so beautiful. I loved the different color houses. You captured the town so well.
Thank you Queen! We have to meet some day. I always really appreciate your comments and encouragement 🤗
@@theknittystew 💜
Great episode. I love the idea of floating through a city on the river
Oh my gosh Liz … your mother must’ve been beside herself !! You and Quynn giving us heart attacks 😆
Aw thank you Leslie 🤗 This message made my day!
Yes Betty! I hope you do come into town!
Many more safe travels with us✈🧶🌎
Hi Ela! First of all thank you so much for coming travelling with me here! And second, that is the BEST QUOTE ever.
Congratulations on your one year anniversary! I have enjoyed all your travel podcasts but your local ‘home’ Calgary one was great.
Oh thank you so much !
Happy podiversary. I've enjoyed each layover city that you share with me and especially sharing the history and background of the city. The yarns that you use cause me to salivate ... excuse me while I wipe away the dribble. 😊😊
Thank you Shirley! Ohh how we love the yarn… angels singing 🎶
Oh Zena! Thank you for this message. It made my day. 🌺
I like learning more about Canadian towns. PEI was a favorite. I buy most of my stash as souvenirs when traveling. Congratulations on 1 Year!🧶
Thank you Barb. Glad you’re here!
Thank you Karen 🤗!!
