In my experience, they are noticeable heavier but not that much like to make you quit playing, is exactly why you can feel the regular sticks lighter and easier to play with, so yes, is like a subliminal workout. The other very good point is that they last much longer than wood sticks, like 6 to 10 times, and that makes you save money, yes, they cost like twice but you do the maths, also they don´t peel making the sticks thinner and weaker until they break, and yes, they will eventually will break but not anytime soon, so don´t worry. They are excellent if you are more of a straight forward heavy hitter like Matt Sorum or Tommy Aldridge instead of a 500-roll geek "a la" Greyson Nekrutman.

Thank you 🙏🏼 😊
Can you show me how to smooth out the rough side on the drumstick please
I don't really have a special way to do it. I just rubbed the seams with a nail file. Fine grit sandpaper would probably work better though
@@ChadChesmark Like in a video of how to smooth out the rough side
@@backstories933I’m actually working on a cruise ship right now and don’t have the sticks with me to film it.
@@ChadChesmark Maybe after you get off the cruise ship
@@ChadChesmark I suggest sand the whole seam off the drumsticks
