One thing I have to compliment about him is his voice acting. Not only does Alan Ituriel deserve a medal for his willingness to wreck his throat for that croaky, guttural rasp that Michael Madsen would be jealous of, but the cadence of his voice is striking in ways that are not so easy to parse out at first. He speaks very quickly with emphasis placed on words that wouldn't usually be emphasized, seemingly at random, while words that would usually be emphasized aren't. It's a subtle detail, but it works as a reminder that Black Hat is an ancient primordial abomination who is unaccustomed to interacting directly with humanity, putting on a performance that *almost* makes him come across as human-adjacent, but ultimately reminds you just how alien and unnatural he truly is
