Method #41: the forced despawn 1) Drop some ingredients in the orb hole 2) Put the orb over them: the ingredients are blocking the orb 3) Go to the elevator 4) Drop more ingredients to despawn the first ones
there’s a cool mechanic where if you throw an object (the orb) and it glides against the side of something (the metal box) it goes farther. you can use this to throw the orb into the hole from the elevator!
I love the Giant Boomerang one (#26?). Gives me Ocarina of Time vibes where you throw the boomerang at random crap because the boss or dungeon called for it, and with Z-Targeting it always works out magically, ignoring all laws of physics
I have another way of completing this shrine, by simply placing a metal box on top of the hole the orb needs to go to, the placing the orb manually near enough to the hole so that when the metal box is gone, it rolls into the hole . Then you stand at the platform that rises and simply use magnesis to lift the metal box up to complete the shrine. I know this is kinda similar to some of the ways explained in the video, I just thought it would be fun to share :)
Fosbury flopping is super hard to get consistently, but it’s one of my favorite glitches because of how fun it is. I try to finish every shield surf with one because there’s just something about Link ragdolling 7 feet in the air that I find hilarious.
I really like one that was only shown in the intro clips: stasis the ball just above the target and run ("cheesed this in my casual playthrough" - that one) Also, method 1 is supposed to be hands free - drop the ball from the very top, not bottom of the ramp!
I think one word describes this video perfectly: Vokeche. Great video as always. Perfect music choices. Amazing video idea. Brilliantly executed. Absolute Content Machine! WICKED
I'm late to Breath of the Wild and have been playing through it over the last few weeks. I've only completed this Shrine once. I don't think the way I did it is on here! But maybe what I did was almost too simple or straightforward. 1. Take the ball to its slot and set it down there for a moment. 2. Use Magnesis to bring a metal cube up and place it on the corner of the slot platform so that it is stable and does not block the slot itself. 3. Remove the ball. Position Link against the cube so that once he lets go of the ball, he can jump forward and run to the elevator. 4. Let go of the ball and run to the elevator. It will take several seconds for it to roll around the cube and into the slot, which is all you need. Sorry if this isn't much of a "method." But basically you can just bring the ball to the slot yourself and some minor positioning with a cube lets you drop it right there. No throwing, no wind, no attacks. Magnesis rune to move a cube once.
Another one: place a metal block inside the goal, place the orb in the goal but since the block is in the way it can’t activate the elevator, stand on the elevator and move the block with the magnet rune causing the orb to fall in.
It's insanely impressive that you did this...and to credit the game even further...after watching this, I'm still convinced there are more ways to beat the shinre
Incredible idea and performance! There's one more way this shrine could be beaten that I have in mind: I'm pretty sure you can gain height with the "Wall Jump" glitch (FDC mid-air when facing a wall), so you could do this a couple of times to scale the wall. Though I'm not 100% sure that it works.
I also cheesed this on my casual run. Took my 3rd playthrough until I realized how much I overthought it lol. Also, amazing video great explanations. Underrated RUclipsr for sure.
4 options. Use chilis to chain draft upwards Set up a fire behind the ball, have the wind gust carry a bomb arrow rolling on the ground towards the fire and blow up the ball so that the current needs to be used twice lol Use campfires to drift upwards stasis a block (or lynel crusher if not wanting to be repetitive with the “paddle” method) behind the orb pedestal then use the boomerang to hit behind it and use the block to smack the ball in place
You can also do a similar thing to method 34 by going to a memory to restore the stasis then stasis the ball in the air, Then use the master sword beam to cancel the momentum
Love this. Not sure if this counts but I just place the ball in the larger orange hole and stasis it right before it goes in the small hole. Stasis gives enough time to get to the elevator. The slope of the larger hole makes sure it goes in the smaller hole. No hitting of the ball is required.
Love the video! It’s crazy how many ways there are to use the mechanics of the game. I think the first method I ever used was putting a metal block over the hole, blocking the orb from going in and then used magnesis from the elevator to remove the block.
The wind was so strong for me. Idk, there must be something up with the version I'm playing or my game itself. I cheesed this one by placing a metal cube in front of the fan and dropping the ball between the cube and the goal. I ran to the elevator and then just used the metal cube with magnesis to push the ball into the goal.
16:13 I did this on my first playthrough. I knew there was an intended solution, but for that puzzle I didn't particularly care because I found my own solution.
Isn’t there a way to use fire (wood, peppers, red chu chu jelly, etc…) to create an upward draft and just use the paraglider to reach the end of the shrine? Lmk what you guys think or if I’m missing something!
You can also just place the orb in the corner of the fence and it will slowly roll into the bowl giving you plenty of time to just walk up to the elevator. Im guessing that the platform the orb bowl thing is on isnt perfectly flat and tilts slightly toward the bowl. Thats how i beat it the first time
Wouldn't it be possible to place a bomb in the hole, the orb on top of it and then a cube on top of those two. When you now detonate the bomb, the cube blocks the orb from flying too far away.
i love finding new solutions to the same puzzle. its like glitch hunting but without glitches (sometimes). "am i intended to be able to do this? hopefully not~"
Very cool video and nice editing! A strat that could have been used is a glancing throw, using a metallic box as a wall and throwing the orb from the top of the big elevator
Wow that’s a lot of ways,, I beat this one by pinning the orb in the corner, on the edge of the slope leading to the hole. I stuck it in place using the metal boxes, got on the elevator, then removed one of the boxes with magnesis to clear the way for it to roll in.
I couldn't remember how I beat the shrine but I knew it wasn't anyway you had shown in the first 30 attempts. And then method 33 came. Stacking the two cubes and throwing the orb so it rolls over the fence. I was scratching my head for so long trying to remember. 16:15
So, the first BLSS method hinges on the idea that if you can just be far enough above the hole with the ball, you can drop the ball into the hole and then fly to the end. It seems like you could manage this without using BLSS, by simply getting link on top of a metal box and dropping the ball into the hole and quickly gliding to the elevator.
Nice Video! I told Lim the idea with the flosburry flop und he wasn’t very happy after that. I’m to this day sorry, for this Tilt. You could also do a double sbr as a solution.
If you overload the menu you can hold an item while performing an action which resets the action. If you jump attack hold an item and repeat 4 times you might be able to make it on top
@@R0TEK lim premiered the video live on his twitch channel before posting here :) you should check it out his streams if you want to see the videos early
You could place a Bomb in the pedastol and place the orb above it. Then step on the elevator. Stasis the orb and blow up the bomb to make space that the orb can roll into the pedastol. But now, of the the stasised orb has a lot of momentum. To remove the stasis Momentum by throwing the mastersword with full health onto the orb.
Metal box, use lit fires and items to elevate yourself to make a shield jump on it barely possable, repeat on box to top, also maby chests if you can use amibo
its so funny that they made this like this there is such a simple solution to fix this too because you just have to move the ramp to a different side and extend the room a little bit
I dont know if this would work but what if you put a block on the elevator then use stasis then put the ball in the hole, would the block hold the elevator down until stasis wears off giving you time to walk up?
I know you already did that method but it would look pretty cool if you place flammable weapons/objects from the hole all the way to the elevator and then start burning the first one from the elevator and see the chain reaction. + it’s not so easy because you have to avoid the wind when placing your flammable weapons/objects on the ground but then you could block the wind with the boxes or stasis but there are only 2 boxes. See what I mean I think that way would be extremely interesting and look pretty cool
Loved the video but I think you forgot a very simple solution! You can simply create an updraft using several campfires or peppers and glide to the end of the shrine. I’m determined to find more solutions
Nope, doesn't work, the developpers thought of that. Campfires don't create updrafts in shrines. If you search for new solutions, I highly recommend trying them in the game.
The way that I did it was really simple but I just placed the orb on the perfect place on the orange circle that the orb is meant to go in and it just rolled in at the perfect time I got onto the elevator
I solved it by placing the orb next to the hole, then placing the cube next to the orb, getting on the platform and using magnesis to move the cube to push the orb into the hole.

wouldnt that technically be the same method as rolling the ball on top of the boxes?
Box Throw right?
@@kingmidassmo9053 You're throwing the orb to skim the side of the box which performs a small glitch, not rolling the ball on top of the box.
yup, or you can call it glancing throw whatever you prefer.

That's what I did too, had a feeling it wasn't the intended way because I hadn't used the wind mechanic that was set up at all

I could practically hear the MLG air horns going off during the last shot. Amazing. This game never ceases to astonish me.

Way to go Limcube! Great contents!

There is also a lesser known glitch which is a repeated wall jump you can do specifically with the giant boomerang

Could you create an updraft with four campfires to get up to the monk?
its so funny that they made this like this there is such a simple solution to fix this too because you just have to move the ramp to a different side and extend the room a little bit
can you not use a horse slide to get up or do you not gain vertical momentum with horse slides?

Could you use an updraft made with peppers or campfire?
What about the flaming sunshroom trick or lighting 5 campfires close together to create an updraft?
40 ways? That’s insane!!!
Hm, you could use something wooden to block the hole and make a chain of but able stuff to ignite it from the elevator?
I’m really excited for the video on ist!
Do updrafts work in shrines? If so then four lit campfires would work
What a great video. Well done!
does the bouncy weapon from kilton work on shrine orbs? could be something there

In my original playthrough I beat it the wrong way and thought It was the intended way
first time I just did stasis on the orb in the pit just before it reached the hole
Me playing botw: Hey there's two way to beat this shri-
I solved it by placing the orb next to the hole, then placing the cube next to the orb, getting on the platform and using magnesis to move the cube to push the orb into the hole.
Thats exactly how I solved it!
idk if it really counts but you could also use shrine wrong warping to "beat" it
Amazing video!
You can have up to 5 jumps with hold smuggling
I just put a metal box in the hole, and set the orb in the hole next to it, and picked up the metal box with magnesis while standing on the elevator.
Is just using triple speed food and faster than the ball an option?
