I hope you are over 25. I am and I would NEVER recommend a bunny for a child or young adult because children and young adults lose interest once they deal with the reality of owning a bun. Bunnies are social. They need a loooot of attention. I give my bunny around 9 or 10 hours a day of attention a day which involves vacuuming and sweeping every other day, cleaning up PO OS at least 2x a day, making sure they have enough..but not too much of the correct food..and I ask my exotics pet vet..AND NOT RUclips INFLUENCERS..because most are incorrect. If my bunny doesn't drink, I am up at midnight feeding water to her and at 6am making she she eats her hay. Bunnies have to eat in 13 hour cycles or it can be dangerous for them. Do you have the $120 vet fee? The 10.00 a week for hay and 10.00 a week for produce and 11.00 every month for pellets? What about the $$ for pee pads? About 20.00 more dollars. And a hidey, chew toys..And how about grooming? The first 10 months my bun would not let me groom her. Had to get a groomer..$50.00. And shedding season you groom every day so they do not get sick. Mine is medium fur. Lionsheads are long hairs=more grooming. Do NOT get a bun because it is cute or affectionate if you cannot care for a bun. You do mot want to know what happens to many rehed buns.😑
I have 3 bunnies I don’t know what breed they are. I got them from a pet store at a Farmer’s Market. They use to not mind being held when they were babies. But now they don’t like being held anymore.
Please ask your local exotics vet to see if you can properly care for a bunny. They are a loooot of work. A lot. Like 10 hours a day, they are expensive and delicate.
Complete bs created to advertise rabbits as pets. Rabbits, especially mini lips, hate to be held. Hence, saying mini lips like to be held is like saying rabbits eat meat. Complete lies
My lionhead was one of the sweetest boys, gave me kisses all the time, my flemish is very sweet too.
I love bunnies so much! They are all so overcute 😍🥰😍

My lop however is very unfriendly, he only let's me pet him if I have treats hah
They are not for little kids.
Or even young adults. College age kids do not have the time to care for them.
