    Well done! My neighbors and I do the same. I have the Harbor Freight version and am always digging something for somebody. LOL

      Thanks...YES...I popped the weld on the bucket (another video) and this neighbor welded it back up for me. Life is about treating people right!

      @@Mr.Handy-ish I agree 100%. You'll find that the best "accessory" for any excavator is a welder. LOL

    I concerned about your hydraulic hose hanging.I enjoy your nortrac video I bought one recently. Helpfull hit from a 72 old man. Take tie wraps, start from lower boom give enough slac on hanging hose the tie wrap to hose connection on cylinder then follow to next hose connect on cylinder use tie wrap. Give enough slack for boom bends attached hose to next hose cylinder connect follow along cylinder and strap. I would send you a pic if I could at 72 ant wayyou can let me know how to I would send a pic. I did make a comment on another video you did this ones more recent. Youremind me of my son in law you make a old man chuckle ,hope this advice on hose helps. Hose repairs aren't cheap oil lost fast. I'll follow you video on the nortrac fix them hanging hoses,keep me chucking Bless you and 👪 family.

      I've got an experiment in hose management posting...then we'll see how it holds up.

    If you swap pin ring to inside by removing the ring and put it back on they will stay!

    Great job !! All in all are you pleased with your purchase of the Nortrac ? I saw the bucket issue video but have you had any major problems with the machine ? I'm trying to make up my mind between a Nortrac or the one Harbor Freight has. Thanks for the awesome videos !

      No major complaints. Wheel bearings needed to be packed and I need to figure out hose management! I should post a video of going in and out of transport mode, too, as I do it differently than what I've seen online.

      @@Mr.Handy-ish yeah I noticed the hoses need a little help. Lol. Maybe some of those heavy duty HVAC zip ties would work. Please do post more when you can ! Your videos really do help us all a great deal ! ✌️

      @Robyjv8 Not a bad idea...I like simple! Thank you for your kind words...my channel isn't for everyone, and it really doesn't fit neatly in one category or genre, but it sure is good to hear when a video helps someone!

    how does your back feel after a couple of hours on that thing?

    • @Mr.Handy-ish
      @Mr.Handy-ish  9 месяцев назад

      Ya know, I thought my back would've felt it more than it did. Not to say I wasn't a bit sore the next day, but it wasn't too bad. If someone is gonna use one of these all day, everyday for a living...they would likely buy a much more expensive machine anyway, I suppose.

      Thanks so much for the wonderful comment. Yes...the hoses. I had them kind-of secured, but the hoses didn't slide well...bound up. I have some cheap zip ties on it right now. I definitely need to find a more permanent solution. Maybe some metal hoops for the hoses to move easily in but get some support. Does me good to hear your comments.
