I own this with the Allpower 288Wh solar generator and they’re a fantastic pairing. The reason these panel’s work so efficiently is because Allpower went all out and put Sunpower cell’s in it, I leave mine hanging in a window at home connected to the generator and use it to charge my devices overnight.

Bonus feature for utilizing the panel as a drone launching pad: The drone will blow dust off the panel on takeoff and landing ;)

I hang this on the south facing side of my a-frame tent. It charges my 20,000mah fan/light during the day. I charge my phone off that same fan while it’s running at night. The fan never gets below 50% by morning and it’s always back to 100% by the following night after sitting in the sun all day. I just have a regular iPhone with no additional battery.

Nitecore fsb100. You can get it cheap as a veteran. 4.8 pounds puts it in ultralight territory for 100 watts. Usb c and 8mm. Durable appearing. Same output as my goal zero at a fraction of the weight. haven’t tested mine like you will but gtg so far.

How can this supposed 100 watt solar panel not be able to keep a laptop at the same battery level while it is in use in heavy use?
Laptops just do not consume 100 watts. If this thing was putting out 100 watts or close to 100 watts in full sun in the summer, your battery would go up and not just stay the same, let alone fall even under a fairly heavy use. Laptops rarely consume over 50 watts. They simply cannot get rid of 50 watts of heat continuously. A laptop is rarely at its maximum power draw for any considerable amount of time. They spike to that level when the cpu is under max load. At the price they are asking, it should be producing 100 watts.
This thing is a hunk of junk.
