    Hyde park is a veritable lush tranquil oasis, completely enchanting walkways and avenues throughout coupled with the abundance of mature trees of all manner and species that cast a spell upon my heart......That yellow wattle tree at the beginning was stupendous, .......I am not certain I approve of the Mastaba, and I am certain the local ducks disapprove of its gaudy proportions and abrupt intrusion, I do apologise, but to me its placement in such a gorgeous natural setting as the the Serpentine is thoughtless and superfluous! Other than that, my heart is calmed from all the rush of this morning, walking though your lens always calms me....loved this walk, thank you sweetheart :)

      Thanks for your lovely comment MMV, they're always a pleasure to read! I agree about that wattle tree, it looked incredible in that setting. As for the Mastaba, I thought it added visual interest and curiosity as a temporary addition - though it would definitely spoil the beauty of the park if permanently there.

      Natasha, you’re welcome - was the park what you expected?

    • @TheNatasha66
      @TheNatasha66 5 лет назад

      @@watchedwalker No! I imagined it completely different! I thought it was much smaller/compact, cramped with big trees, typical, lush English lawn, narrow paths and a small but quaint lake. Instead, it's humungus!

    These royal parks are such a benevolent gifts to the nation by the palace. Long live the queen. Parts of grass very dried out in last summers hot spell. I liked the ranger's lodge. Lucky ranger. Old poluce house still belong to police I believe. Two police vans nearby. Is the mastaba a permanent feature. Thatwill be a shame! Thanks for such a lovely video.

    • @watchedwalker

      Thanks Pagla, the mastaba was only there for a few weeks - it was nice just as a temporary installation :)

    Like I mentioned before, thanks to your videos we were able to have a really spectacular time in London during Christmas. We also went to Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland which is really something to behold. Unfortunately we were not in Hyde Park during the day and especially when it was warm. One of these days I'll take a summer trip to England and Paris

    Very nice and summery. It shows what a long hot summer we had last year as the grass is already going yellow relatively early on. Do you think you will ever use the iPhone 6 for filming again or is it onwards and upwards in the hardware department? Agree with the other commenter - your mic quality is amazing, you must need to hold your breath! Lovely job as always:) Angela/LWL

    • @watchedwalker
      @watchedwalker  5 лет назад +1

      Thank you Angela. I loved the weather last summer, I hope we get something similar this year - it makes going out filming much more pleasant. No, I don't think I'll use my iPhone 6 for filming anymore, though I wouldn't rule out a future phone if it has a wide angled lens and 4K.

      You probably watched too soon after upload. RUclips creates the low res versions first, then gradually adds in the higher quality ones. Watch again and you can have the full 1080p 60Hz pixellation-free experience.
