Your meditation knowledge and instruction is first rate. Ive gained more in the last year of following your explanations and instruction than I have in the last few decades of earnestly trying to incorporate a fruitful meditation discipline into my life. Thank you very much Forrest. The value of your work is immeasurable.

So grateful for your systematic explanation on meditation. After reading your book, I realized I was stuck in a sympathetic response, and after years of trying never felt successful with meditation, but using your techniques I have finally experienced incredible progress. You are a gift Forrest thank you!!
I really appreciate the de mystification of the process, and especially enjoying the way you describe the physiological structures and their processes in the “awakening” process. I needed this video for my meditation practice right now. Thank you Forrest.
How brilliant that "meditation does not begin until after you touch the freeze response." It all makes sense that meditation is a personal journey to clarity. I think how the last ten years of meditation have been for me about wrestling with an innate obstacle to that clarity that only I can find, understand, and clear. Thank you so much, Forrest, your shared wisdom is like finding my own treasure of the Sierra Madre...
Thank you for this reminder. I've been learning of Yoga Nidra which is a form of deep rest without sleeping. A quick 20 minute session will refresh and reverse insomnia woes. But, it uses the long breathing you taught us many years ago to prepare for meditation. Also, i have a problem with awakening many times a night and i use the breathing technique to get back to sleep quickly. It's so very effective and has improved my quality of life. Thank you so much
Spot on, Forrest. Beautiful description. I'm starting to go deeper and deeper and the experience is more enjoyable now. I like what you say about what the meditative state actually is. When you stop rowing, you become it. But you gotta row. Blessings and blissings!
Hola mi amigo! Thank you again for all of your teaching. You are able to take the complicated and make it simplistic. We start with a deity and eventually we reach the point where we understand that all is one. The “God of all” and then we become aware that “All Is God”. The process is slow (Very rapid) but really worth it. As you have taken the complexity of meditation and broken it down into simplicity you might be interested in a book ( if you have not already read it) Hybalion. It takes the complexity and breaks it down to 7 steps. Again, thank you for being my guru!!!🙏🙏🙏📿📿📿💗
Hi, I recently completed my SRF lessons, and wasn’t sure if I should wait for Kriya. I stumbled onto your videos, and have watched most of them. Also purchased your big bliss training. I still have some questions. Do you say a prayer before implementing all the techniques, and do you focus on third eye during this process? I’ve even used meditation armrest.
The freeze response, is it the same as sleep atonia where you body becomes paralyzed? Because you still have to hold you head up during sitting and still have some control. Thank you very much again for your videos!
Very good lesson, Forrest! So - once in the freeze response/HRV/state, how do I proceed to Samadhi. And for example, Sankhya and experiencing the vibbhutis?
@@ForrestKnutsonyour book “Mastering Meditation?” I am going through it slowly. Marvelous. Or is there another book? This is all so great! You are truly a great guru yourself.
From the place that has no place but simply is, thank you 🙏 I've been entering small absorbtions more and more using OM Jappa/HRV. Its as if all of me disappears. There is no me. Just stillness, peace, and clairity.
Hey yogi Forest..I experience all the things you mentioned in my daily meditation..the tingling, heavy hands , blissful heaviness in chest .. however my head droops down although I am fully aware and not dozing off...now when i try keeping the neck straight again, lt interrupts the pleasurable state...is the involuntary falling of head okay
