Having watched many other videos for cutting hexagons, I say this is the best one. Easy minimalistic setup and yet very effective. Keep up the great work.
I have watched so many other videos on how to cut these out and they all said the best way is to make a sled for the table saw! This is so much easier and is going to save so much more time and material! You are a genius my friend! Thank you for taking the time to produce and post this.
Great tutorial. I need to try this. I've also seen some videos how to do it with a jig on the table saw. (didn't try that yet either) But this one seems easier. Thanks for sharing the video.
Congratulations on your work and on the channel. I bought a flight of ... Wonderful machine. A question please: What measurement and angle are you using ... God bless you big hug.
Much easier on a miter saw than on the table saw, coz you have to build a sled jig for that, although doing it on a table saw is safer, but as long as you control, you dominate well your miter saw it's safe as well.
Hello again I made the jig and it worked well but when I put in a smaller width piece of wood lithe jig did not allow a smaller hexagon....so do I have to make a different jig for every size hexagon I want to make?
seen many videos and all of them used expensive tools. have'nt seen any video using manual inexpensive tools to make hexagon. even well experience cannot used method to provide knowledge to make hexagon using manual tools.
Find a hexagon drawing on the internet, print it out and glue it on a piece of paper. Then take a hand saw and use it for cutting out the hexagon coaster.

Hello sir, usefull information. can you just explain the angle while marking the length over the planch
Nice
Chop saw cuts accurate if collaborated correctly. Experience says it's not a perfect 30 degrees.

Dios... Como desearía que estuviera en español :(
Попробуйте установить 30или31градус для шестигранника на ручном циркулярки
cool. make me 22 pls :)
I guess the first one is the most difficult (to have a perfect set-up) The other 21 will be "a piece of cake".
Kindly request
Easy ????
Thats a very small timber.

Very bad practice. You never cross your hands with using the mitre saw that's one way to loose your hand
waaaaay to muh to work for something that can t worth much...
