Yes, it says it's also to dam hard to get to deer, and to get them out in a public hunting area because hunters are locked and posted out by the very organization, - the Game and Fish, that is supposed to make our hunting experience enjoyable, but is just as bad as PETA when we need and want better access to HUNTING LAND WE PAY FOR, AND THAT WE SHOULD HAVE FULL ACCESS TO.

Hear is what I love about what you guys are doing. Hard work=success. No one is complacent with just sitting up and not moving. Scouting while hunting is key in my opinion. You all are doing it right and explaining it along the way. Great group of guys you have on this trip. I especially love Dan rockin the throw back red flannel and the flip phone!! That is proof positive that you can still hunt and have success the old school ways from years ago. Except the flip phone. I don’t think that works real good with the ONX mapping. Lol. Keep up the fantastic job THP👊

Awesome Buck!!! Congrats to Joe on a true monster. Loved this public land challenge. It's been great seeing the different styles of hunting. Dan's "camo" and that flip phone, that's classic hunting gear. Love the friendship and helping others with bringing out the deer. Had a buddy arrow a big 10 late one evening on public. Took 3 of us 6.5 hrs to get him out on a cart from the mountains of VA. Nothing like driving home with the sun coming up after a successful hunt.

Excellent technical summary of early archery season whitetail tactics! I love the fact that you guys are using WESTERN HUNTING packing methods (field quartering) as if you were ELK, or Mule Deer hunting miles deep into their core living areas. In truth for me, this aspect clearly illustrates the purpose of the hunt; to find and harvest venison for your family. Even better when your quarry turns out to be a BRUTE!

Learning a lot more about deer hunting here than from all the shows done on big farms in the Midwest. By that I mean, I don't have a food plot or names for most of the bucks I see like in those videos. And a lot of those guys live on or near those farms. So they just have a 10 minute walk to their stand. Not an hour or more drive.
Keep up the good work guys. You are helping a lot of young or new hunters out there.

Love the fact that, no matter how far away the buck is shot, you have help on the way.

Wow. That was a good scouting/hunting trip. Yall put forth the effort to find the bucks and it paid off big time. And to have friends that will come out in the middle of the night, hike nearly 3 miles in and help get your deer out, PRICELESS. Congrats. Stay safe everybody

There's a certain satisfaction in scouting, tracking then hunting DEEP DEEP DEEP public land. The big boys who are like ghosts always seem to be in there. When you finally see him, stand up, grab the bow, draw, he gives you that foot forward heart shot, you find him, pack him out..... nothing is painful..... because it worked....the effort you put in worked. Even if it didn't, you learnt and move deeper. Its indescribable how the things you experience, feel and learn form hunting applies to so many things in our lives. What an amazing life it is to be a hunter... it's my therapy...

These videos are well done, guys. I can feel the excitement and comradarie. Good friends helping each other and doing what you love together. Joe, anybody who will walk through 3 miles of swamp at 2 in the morning to help you pack out a deer is a GOOD friend. Cherish that. Great buck. You have earned my sub.

Another awesome video. Everything I wanted. A buck kill. A guy filling his hip boots. A flip phone and a compass. Great friends sacrificing sleep and time to help pack out a buck. Mustaches and long hair. And a boonie hat! Keep doing what you guys are doing. The bucks here in Iowa are gonna be on high alert knowing their time is coming
