I just got a suit from them too. the fit wasnt right the first time, the jacket was way too small. But it was an error on my measurements, not their end. they made me a new jacket for only the cost of shipping, and they made it express fabrication and shipping for no cost. I got my new jacket in 6 days and had it in time for the wedding I was getting it for. I definitely recommend them. I actually was emailing the owner of the company directly, and he was pretty cool.and easy to deal with. I will be buying from them again
ITailor was my first MTM shirt and i paid full price a while back and i was highly disappointed with the fabric and fit. Shirt was too tight.. remeasured after that but 2nd time around 1 sleeve was longer/tighter than the other. So confused on that. Always a great video Jon! Love the colors on the suit, wow 🔥
I ordered a blue jacket from them. I followed their measurement guide, but the sleeves were horribly long. The CEO called me to talk about a remake. He made some suggestions for fabric and style. They remade the jacket and did a pretty nice job. I did not want padding, and the remake included it even after I discussed this with the CEO. Still, the jacket is nice and the fit is excellent. I didn't get their premium fabric, and I can tell that the fabric and subtle details are not as nice as my SuitSupply jackets and suit (which I love, BTW). I'm in Paris for a week, and really wish I would have just waited to go to Lanieri for a blue sport coat. I made pop in their showroom regardless. Love the videos... keep them coming.
I got a suit from them. One bonus that I noticed, they marked the suit as £18 even though it was far more so I didn’t need to pay import tax. That’s a win right there
My new job will require me to wear suits daily. In the past I've had no luck buying off the rack as I'm a really hard fit. I have used Itailor for a MTM blazer and it was absolutely perfect fit wise. I've been thinking about buying a few cheaper suits for my day to day as well as something a bit nicer for when I go out. I'm thinking that buying Itailor for the daily wear is the way to go if they can replicate this fit. I mean, if I save on the day to day I can splurge on the going out suits ;)
Just found your channel a few weeks ago and have watched a ton of them since. Made my first order with ThetieBar yesterday and also ordered some Buttoned down shirts from amazon last week. This MTM shopping style is intriguing but so far with button down the shirt was huge. Going to take some time to find that right size. My neck is a 17 but that makes all the shirts huge in the chest so far. Going to have to do some more ordering to find the right size. Thanks for all the tips so far.
The Kavalier that would be awesome! My wife and kids know your videos now as well. I watch RUclips on the big screen in the living room and it’s been on your channel for weeks. You’re giving the whole family an education on men’s wear. Hahaha!
Thanks for the review. I was looking for another mtm company since I'm having problems with OliverWicks consistency.I have 4 suits with them and it appears the fit has gone down hill instead of going up,like they will do their best at first then pass you off to a second tier/newbie tailor since you are a repeat customer. A well fit Chinese suit beats a poor fit European one anyday.
I ordered my first mtm jacket from iTailor and what a flop. I had recently had a custom suit made by Canali, so I was able to get good measurements. On arrival, my iTailor ”fitted” jacket was more like a hospital gown. I sent pictures and proof that they didn’t make it to the provided measurements and their response was simply that their online information stated the garments may be 2-4” larger; and to have it tailored locally. You’re better off buying off the rack and having it tailored.
Itailor is quiete good. However I always order their non mtm sizes. I've always choose the standard size. But you can adjust your waist etc. The key arears. I recommend that you guys use the standard sizing option. Always comes perfect. For the pricing I think is a very good value
Great video and thanks for the intro to iTailor. Looks like a great place to get reasonably priced made to measure shirts and suits. I will likely give them a try in the future.
Thanks Jon. Essentially iTailor is still Not up to snuff with Oliver Wicks or SuitSupply. The Sleeves are too long and are not tapered (too baggy). So I can''t deal with these guys. Too much alterations. Cheers! From Houston TX
I tried ITailor after watching this video a few months ago. The suit I ordered came back sized very poorly, most definitely my fault when I measured. Out of curiosity, is your suit in this video the Euro slim or Signature fit?
Thanks for the teaser on the tux, looking forward to that, I may be in the market soon. Also, looking forward to your MTM round-up. I did buy an Oliver Wicks jacket on your recommendation earlier this summer, One lapel buckled a bit (because I'm left-handed not right-handed?) but otherwise the fit was pretty amazing considering the process, a little snug but well within my range. Just need to wear it some more. As I said, waiting for the MTM and then possibly make some purchases. I would happily waste $20 on the inexpensive shirt if it improved the confidence in buying the nicer stuff.
Any recommendations or tricks to getting your first shirt made from them with regard to their website? Probably gonna get their cheapest shirt to start a fit but wouldn't mind it right the first time. Excellent video, tremendous service Jon.
Wondering if you used your 38L measurement or went with the measurements in cm? I have 3 of there shirts. They fit great. A pair of pants I ordered was too tight around the hips. I've Ben waiting for a while to order a suit from them. After seeing yours. I might order one soon. Let me know please. Great video!
Hey brother, do you know if they were able to be flexible with shoulder to chest size, and waist to rise (u-crotch) size. Those are usually my problem areas, along with sloped shoulders. I went by Suit Supply and even their MTM could not solve my issues. Looks like I may have to go bespoke for my issues
I'm curious. Do all of their suits use a half canvas construction? Their website says they use french fusing and doesn't mention anything about canvas/half canvas construction as you did in the video, which makes it a bit of a no go to me, since fused suits tend to eventually go badly wrong.
Great video and channel. Do you have any comments on color matching between their website and the actual material? I'm a little nervous that what I'm seeing online is not what's going to get delivered, in terms of fabric color.
Hi there! First of all, great job on the videos! I was just wondering where I can find the suit gold fabrics... I've searched everywhere, but I can only seem to find the gold shirting options, nothing on the gold suiting options...
Hey man,did you use the site's measuring system or did you get a tailor to measure you up and E-mail Itailor your exact measurements? For example, Did you have to tell Itailor the circumference of your Biceps/Triceps,Arms,Leg opening,Cuff opening etc
I see it on the fabric selector on the it will show pinpoint oxford, twill, herringbone etc. www.dropbox.com/s/tzh4qofsvak7623/Screen%20Shot%202018-09-19%20at%208.36.37%20AM.png?dl=0
Hi I ordered a shirt based on you recommendation and I am considering a suit. When you say it’s a semi-canvas contraction what do you mean. All they have to do but an inch of canvas and fuse the rest and it’s semi canvas. I really don’t want a mostly fused suit. Please clearly.
The thing I like about iTailor is that they have colors for shirts that I can get with a french cuff, which none of the other MTM sites do. However, the lower price tag was a concern of mine (As far as quality of construction and fabric). That said, I followed the link, but where do I find the silver or gold lines? Edit: Ok, I see that there's a different link, now.
Everything looks good, especially the suit and the dress shirt. But I think the pant is a bit tight and too short. Make you seam like you are wearing out grown pant. Also, how long did it take you to get everything? On the website it say about 6 weeks?
Hi Mate, i have been using i tailor for 5 years i have 34 shirts and 2 suits i can tell you its one of the best site that i found. when i order my first shirt it was to tight i got my wife to measure me up .i have never looked back since whats really nice when your wearing the shirt that you created folks telling you how great it looks. thats when my problem starts then i end up buying more. My wife keeps on telling me you have enough shirts now . But to be honest i love clothes and colours thats why i am a dude for a good shirt or sult. it will stop i think? May work on the shoes section? Anyway this is where i jump off Mr Paul
Did you have to pay separate shipping for each item? I had that problem when trying to order two shirts... Also, are the Gold-Line suits explicitly stated as half-canvas construction? The baseline suits are for sure fused, so just wanted to check.
Do you perhaps know what quality of wool they use for their 100% wool suits? I want to order a suit from them as the other brands like Oliver Wicks dont ship to South Africa.
It depends on your price range, and whether you can find anything that fits well off the rack, and whether you live near a good mtm shop or have a good tailor who can take good measurements.
I had a suit that ended up being too small, my brother ended taking it, as it fit him perfectly. I like there sales, and there fabrics are a good value.
Great video brother and thanks for sharing. Looking forward for your next MTM roundup. Within the next few months I will be ordering my first online MTM suit and am seriously considering Oliver Wicks. But I'll wait for your next feedback video. Thanks once again Sir!
The Kavalier Thank you good sir! I'm going with Oliver Wicks because I respect your advice and recommendations. Also, thank you for all you do in the men's fashion community. Great channel and much respect.
I hesitated when I saw the last video on iTailor cause I was interested in a suit, this gives me more confidence that they might nail my fit. I noticed they have different measuring options, which one did you choose for this video?
everything looks great! its just that i kind of feel that when youhave to go through so much back and forth to nail the fit, like in this case, you are losing the whole sell on MTM which is convenience. I just think there is so much guesswork involved, why not go to Banana Republic and get Italian fbrics, slim fit, under $200, and get minor tailoring?
With all MTM I see it as the pain up front to get it right but then all future suits come perfect without any issue. Now that I have the perfect fit with Oliver Wicks I've ordered seersucker, linen, wool and they are the best fitting suits for me. BUT if you're getting a deal at BNR then by all means enjoy
Just received my wool suit - besides the fact that it didnt fit, next to the lapel it had white gunk on it. Maybe it was glue? Did anyone else have this problem? Can someone help me on how to get rid of it?
Was really thinking debating trying out iTailor's shirt, so perfect timing! haha. Would you happen to have Tailor Store as a company that you will be reviewing in the future?
Man the site is terrible, takes me to shirts automatically rather than suits. Forget it, not worth spending an hour slogging through. A five year old could do better.
Great Video! What was the lapel size you chose? I want to buy a suit and I want a classic bold suit look so I want the lapel to be slightly wide. Do you recommend I choose the normal lapel or the wider lapel?
I'm 5'8" 174 lbs stocky build. Would I need to get the Euro slim fit given how large your first suit was? Also is appears this jacket is a couple inches longer than most of your others? Was that intentional?

Especially if you're near an Indochino retail shop it's impossible to beat the in person experience. Aside from that, the lack of clarity on where Indochinos fabrics are from makes iTailor an easy in because you can choose their in house fabrics for reasonable price but step into the gold when you want something more high end.
The Kavalier I’m about 4 and a half hours from a retail shop. Think it’s worth it to make a trip? I’ve heard the experience is awesome! Have you been to one of their stores ?
I tried them based on this review but sadly my experience was not great. I ordered two suits and the measurements were based on another suit, but the suits fit poorly. The pants didn't fit and the jackets had a number of issues that should be corrected. They blamed me for the measurements. This was my last order--EVER from them. I would NOT recommend iTailor.
Great video but if you do videos on classic men's wear please try to learn how to do a proper tie. Length, knot, size/volume in relation to the collar you chose.. is just not working and people who like your channel might copy this and look...not good
would have been nice, if you actually showed the fit. you did not move your arms above the breastline, nor sitting or laying back. i would be interested in the closeness of the armholes, movability and overall fit. standing still with the arms down pretty much every suit from wallmart will look okay...
Time stamps:
Suit (skip unboxing) - 3:57
Shirts - 7:12
Wrap-up - 10:00
I just got a suit from them too. the fit wasnt right the first time, the jacket was way too small. I freaking love pleats now...Instagram converted me lol great fit on this suit, man! Great vid as always

Great review I agree. My shoulders are a little snug BUT I can wear the suit… I do hope to continue to buy from ITalior in the future

Hey Jon - Love the videos!
I've checked out their website, but I don't see their premium suiting fabrics (like the suit in this video).
Thanks for all the tips so far.
thank you Andy! I am trying to put more guides together to help avoid that in the future 🙂

That’s when you just charge it back on your credit card and move on to next company until you find one that knows how to read a tape measure
Would you do a video on their shoes? Preferably the Blake stitch ones
Yes
The Kavalier cool I can't wait I like the idea of their double monk strap but don't know what their colours would look like
Itailor is quiete good. However I always order their non mtm sizes. I've always choose the standard size. But you can adjust your waist etc. The key arears. I recommend that you guys use the standard sizing option. Always comes perfect. For the pricing I think is a very good value

How long it takes for your order to arrive?
Great video and thanks for the intro to iTailor. Looks like a great place to get reasonably priced made to measure shirts and suits. I will likely give them a try in the future.
I like the look and fit. And at the price you can also put some miles on it without being OCD about the upkeep.
Thanks Jon. Essentially iTailor is still Not up to snuff with Oliver Wicks or SuitSupply. The Sleeves are too long and are not tapered (too baggy). So I can''t deal with these guys. Too much alterations. Cheers! From Houston TX

The euro slim option is for the entire suit right

Mr Paul
Were the pants a regular or slim fit before you clicked the euroslim button
Can they adjust the rise on the pants? I'm a bigger guy and need to wear my pants around my waist and not my hips.
What shoes are you wearing in this video? I would love to know!

what kind of fabric have your suit please? do you remember code? thanks for your answer
I don't see the suit options on iTailor gold.
So are itailor super 120s and 110s now cavani?
what was import and taxes, shipping and fees like on the suit?
do you know if the suits are fused or canvassed?
half canvased are always fused.
@@NorrinRadd1984 no not always. I believe Oliver Wicks' standard is half canvassed with sewn lapels for a nice lapel-roll.
where do they ship from ?
I have to get a suit for school and would you suggest that I get it MTM or of the rack?
It depends on your price range, and whether you can find anything that fits well off the rack, and whether you live near a good mtm shop or have a good tailor who can take good measurements.
Great video! I'm going to check them out.
I had a suit that ended up being too small, my brother ended taking it, as it fit him perfectly. I like there sales, and there fabrics are a good value.

Can't recommend Oliver Wicks high enough for quality, value, and customer service.
Just body measurement size. When I re-measured myself I could see the errors from the DB suit that I ordered
everything looks great! its just that i kind of feel that when youhave to go through so much back and forth to nail the fit, like in this case, you are losing the whole sell on MTM which is convenience. I just think there is so much guesswork involved, why not go to Banana Republic and get Italian fbrics, slim fit, under $200, and get minor tailoring?

haha it would be cool to see you compare these MTM with an BR off the rack suit!
CANADIAN CUSTOMS? Anyone know if you get charged customs when iTailor delivers to Canada?
As far as i can tell iTailor are the only ones that offer TRIPLE Pleats
How long does it take?
If I wanted to do a mtm suit in corduroy, velvet or tweed who would you recommend?
Hockerty.
Just received my wool suit - besides the fact that it didnt fit, next to the lapel it had white gunk on it. Maybe it was glue? Did anyone else have this problem? Can someone help me on how to get rid of it?
Hi, love your channel, can u please try Moss Bros, They have as well a clearance section, best regards.
Real Nice Video, thank you for making it.
Hey, Kavelier... What were the shoes that you wrote wearing? Great video, by the way!

Hello,Did you order "European Slim Flit"?
Yes
The Kavalier Thanks man, keep up the good work.
Another suitable presentation (pun intended), well done.
When is the gold coming?
This is gold suiting and gold shirting

My typical Seamaster on NATO
Looks like the James Bond Seamaster that came out with Spectre.

I am working diligently to have it out this Friday.
I'm 5'8" 174 lbs stocky build. Would I need to get the Euro slim fit given how large your first suit was? Also is appears this jacket is a couple inches longer than most of your others? Was that intentional?
It wasn’t intentional but I am happy with it, most of my jackets are just barely covering my bum so it’s a good thing! With a stocky build the euroslim probably isn’t the right route, but it’s all based on body measurements
So indochino or itailor?
Especially if you're near an Indochino retail shop it's impossible to beat the in person experience. Aside from that, the lack of clarity on where Indochinos fabrics are from makes iTailor an easy in because you can choose their in house fabrics for reasonable price but step into the gold when you want something more high end.
The Kavalier I’m about 4 and a half hours from a retail shop. Think it’s worth it to make a trip? I’ve heard the experience is awesome! Have you been to one of their stores ?
Are all jackets That long? looks way to long tbh
It’s actually a more proper length...most suit jackets are produced too short, which is why this one looks too long
Love those shoes.

Awful to hear! Please email me with your order info. Hate to hear this
Honestly I just wanted to know if they were legit
You should do some roids, you’d look just like the Superman actor
What if I can do it but naturale
The sleves of the jacket is too long.
The length of the jacket is too long and baggy. The whole silhouette should be slimmer.
Rupert really? It looks to end right where it’s supposed to. And it looks pretty slim as it is.
He's 6'4", 170. How slim do you think they make these things?
