There needs to be more sense of urgency. WvW is almost completely dead on EU. I wanted to spend my few weekend hours playing wvw and i ended logging out in 15 minutes. It was completely DEAD on EU. So sad to see my favorite activity in this situation. Any other company would have had hotfixes flying out incredibly fast before one of their popular game modes bleeds out to death.
Dead on EU? What???? I literally had to wait in a long queue to even get in because there's too many people playing these days LOL You probably selected a low pop team/server during the team select, because WvW rn is so full of people that it's literally insane
The last beta earlier this year was so worse it branded a very bitter taste for me, it was a Mix of non ending ques or no tags to join. and if there was a tag you had to join every other hour or so a different discord, to be allowed in the squad. Overall it felt a lot more toxic and less fun overall. I tried to farm ever gift of battle that I could need in the time frame Server where still there and you could simpel join the server voice chat. And the current state of unbalanced match up and the lack of a known commander or community keeps me further away from WvW. I don't know if there is now a commen voice or if you still need to join like 10 different voice server. Maybe Anet should step up and offer a central voice for every World.
Yeah.. All these changes are nice/interesting but like you said.. Winning matches must mean something other than bragging rights or feeling good about yourselves. Rewards must be implemented.. I've been thinking about something like 50 skirmish tickets, 5 mystic clovers, 10 mystic coins.. Something like that.

Or some exclusive item/title like spvp monthly
