Thank you very much for your videos. I just started beaver trapping for the first time. I live in south west Manitoba and have beaver damming up water on a farm field. I bought 2 Bridger 330 and tried my luck. 2 days later I caught my first beaver ever. A huge female that weighed over 50 lbs. 2 days later I caught a huge male. So now I’m hooked. Thanks for your very informative videos for first time beaver trappers. Caster mound sets really work awesome. Darren.
Great catches !! If you think there's a way , I'd really like to see the sets better.. The chest cam might be a good way to go for most of the vid , but once you kneel down I get either your feet or the ground.. You do so many good tips without ever knowing you're doing them.. Getting to see the entire set would be a good thing... If it's too hard to do , OK I get it. I'm just wanting to see and learn all I can.. You do a great job on site , don't want to miss anything.
Thank you for making these videos. Question...what length and diameter rods do you prefer making? Also...it looked liked you had a flat piece of steel welded about a foot up on the end of the rod that you jam down into the deeper water. Could you share what you welded there? Again...thanks for making these videos. They've helped me become a better beaver trapper.
Great job trapping. Just got three biggins out of a pond. Did a vid on it on my channel. Got one on a drowning set and other two on 330’s. All on castor mounds.
Good footage on the game camera. Nice catches. I have to admit though I'm not a fan of the d rings on the bridgers. I find they wobble in clay and i have to add some sod to the bottom (extra work). Think I'll be adding some wire to my 330s though, nice tip. 👍😁. Keep up the good work.
Great video. Love spring beaver trapping. Just pulled my traps yesterday. I cannot stress how effective footholds/rebar set is. I use a MB 750 trap. Usually 100 % success providing water depth is sufficient. What trail cam are u using?
@@330Maniac to bad you're not in Wisconsin. Id hire you to get rid of the beaver's in my sanctuary. There are alot of em but 2 of em are 60+ lbs. I have to get rid of em soon before they flood my sanctuary and the deer no longer use it.

I use 10ft 1/2" rebar. The piece at the bottom it flat iron. Its welded on sonthe trap can't slide off.
How ya'll know that you have removed all of the beavers befuddles me. Good work. Enjoyed it.

Great video...where did you get that mount for your trail cam? I need one and that one looks handy. Thx
Thanks!! Got it from the fleet store
What chest waders do you recommend that are warm, durable, and aren't a chore to have on all the time?
how do you set up some many beaver at once all in boards or how do you do it if you do it thank you much
Like the trapping videos. Good change of pace. Do you get into other animal trapping or just beaver?
I trap other stuff as well. Ill be trapping more species next year!

Where are you that on May 10th still has ice? Ice has been gone since the end of February here in Wisconsin.
I'm in central MN. I shot this video 3 weeks ago

Do you have a channel on rumble?
I don't
do you collect the castor and oil glands? sell them in the round or green? your vids are fun to watch, brings back lots of trapping memories
I sell them in the round
How long are your drowning rods? Thanks enjoy your videos?
What do u do with the Beaver?
Great vids
Show how you make the rods.
I like your thinking
.. noob here
Ever put 330s into places where you breach the dams?
I have but its hit and miss because the beavers usually come in with sticks in their mouth to repair the dam
@@330Maniac thats what I was thinking about. No consistency with them footholds better, got it 👍
Thanks
@@330Maniac just caught my very fist beaver 32lbs
so cool
whoohoo!
👍👍a couple less to dam it back up
The camera angle sucks bud. Can you tripod more sets so we can see better? Anyway awsome channel. I watch every video.
Thanks for sharing. Dont try to explain size of beavers.🤣🤣🤣
Can you show in a video how to tell a male and female ?
Maybe you should adjust your camera because when you lean over all I see is ground. Try wearing it on your forehead so we don’t miss a lot.
First
too many view of your lap instead of what you are doing
Can you please explain why you put the 2 traps so close together? Were you trying to catch just 1 or double up? DEFINATLY like the trail cam footage.
