Great video. Wow, pretty hardcore beaver trapping, no messing around. I have a beaver in a lodge that has sprung my 330's at the entrances twice. Not quite sure how it's doing it, no sticks in the traps. Maybe you know. Anyhow, I'm going to put a couple drowners on the dam, not enough depth around the house. 330 is the size, and foothold traps are attached to a rod or cable so that when the beaver get caught in the foothold they naturally want to dive into the water and can’t come back up since there is a one way cable or rod slide that holds them underwater, drowning them

I don't have nearly the experience trapping that Scott does, but I'm a hardcore duck hunter and a casual beaver trapper. I beat waders up pretty badly to a point that they also only last a year. I used to think that I had to spend $350+ on a top notch set of waders. No one ever accused me of being a genius though, so after 15 years or so, I finally decided that I was wasting my money and I bought a $109 pair of waders from rogers sporting goods under their store brand name. What do you know? For the first time, I had a pair of waders get me though two years. Not only that, but as of now, I survived duck season and they are still going! Unless the early 2021 beaver season does them in, then they'll start the 2021 duck season in October for year #3. Best waders I ever bought!
