My husband and I love this song so much, we named our dog Vega. And it's perfectly fitting.
Vega. A lovely name, lovely as the song. Fitting to a dog, to a human to some, but in an author's eyes, a perfect name for an orca. (Vega is the main character of A Whale of the Wild)

For a year straight, basically ever since this song was published, it has been stuck in my head on a reoccurring basis and I don't think I've ever not liked it. It makes me feel more like a badass than many of Danheim's other songs. But all of his music is amazing and I listen to it nearly every day and have for probably 2 or 3 years. Thanks Mike Olsen.
