This! I had to release what I thought was my twin flame in order to gain a broader understanding of I AM. Once I released the ego with the person I “wanted” to be my twin flame, I understood that he was simply a checkpoint in the journey of self discovery and me approaching this state.
While he may not have been what I wanted him to be, I truly understood that the feelings I had were within me, and thus I could project this as I AM and only accept vibrational matches. As you said ALCHEMICAL. What a term, I got so much from that. My twin flame is in me, and he will reveal himself as I am more of me. Woo. That’s heavy. Thank you. I honestly needed that.

I love the idea of having a relationship with your emotions. I actually thought I had this and chose to stay single until I was about 22 but I was really unwilling to confront my emotions coz so much trauma was suppressed. The other areas of my life were so easy like I could breeze through all my exams while others were so stressed and struggling, I could get any job I wanted while others were worried about COVID or the job market, I wasn't rich but I always found enough money to get whatever I wanted, I had like one or two friends that I'd had for most of my life and hung out with often.
Eventually I was like "Ok I have to be honest with myself and admit that I do wanna get into a relationship" so I went on many many many dates, I can't even say how many coz it's embarrassing, and these were all recommendations coz in SA dating apps aren't popular. So they were friend's friends, family friends, family of family like cousin's in laws, colleague's friends, random guys that asked me out where I worked, actually clients and that's not even allowed. I'm surprised so many people asked me out, I dunno why they did but I'd always find some reason not to continue things.
Then I met my ex and was sorta interested and he was very persistent so eventually I was like hmm ok this seems nice actually, maybe I'll give it a shot. So it started off amazing but then he became a little psycho and wanted to check my phone all the time and weird stuff like that, but by then I already loved him so I didn't leave him. Until 4 years later after he cheated. I can't even say I left him, I mean I left after I found out and then he got married a month later. I was already meditating for a few months before this so I had a "spiritual awakening" before shit hit the fan.

I am on the same boat, he’s so heavy on my heart and mind. Been months. I’m totally in love haha. I am just using my imagination in a positive way towards them / using it to visualize us happy and together in love. And then trusting for it to unfold.
