    Can Rwanda sustain this economic miracle?
    Just like The UK, Japan, and Switzerland- Rwanda is a country of few natural resources, and the economy is based mostly on subsistence agriculture. Agriculture comprised an estimated 42.0% of GDP- according to the experts. Given the fact that Rwanda has the 35th-highest Gross Domestic Product (GDP) among African countries (20.32 million International dollars). With Nigeria, Egypt, South Africa, Algeria, Morocco, Angola, Sudan, Ethiopia, Tanzania- being the top 10 African countries by GDP.
    The question is what is the secret behind the current success of the Rwanda economy? In the footage, Dr. Harnet shares her views on this and encourages potential investors to participate in fortifying the Rwandan economy. Rwanda, unlike the UK, Japan, and Switzerland- does not possess a strong academic sector. So my advice to the authorities is to step up this sector which will inevitably lead to the creation of a strong middle class which usually goes with quality consumption and tends to boost further the economy. In my lifetime, I have personally witnessed the following countries: Singapour, Japan, South Korea, Chile and a host of other nations sprung up from virtually nothing to an economic powerhouse- using the strong academic entry strategy.
    EMPOWERING CUTTING-EDGE INITIATIVES TO BOOST THE AFRICAN ECONOMY.

    • @1wun1
      @1wun1 5 лет назад

      The secret is partly in the numbers you checked, and you're indeed right on the necessary changes on academics.

      Rwanda's mining industry is an important contributor, generating US$93 million in 2008. Minerals mined include cassiterite, wolframite, sapphires, gold, and coltan, which is used in the manufacture of electronic and communication devices such as mobile phones.
      Rwanda's chief natural resources include tin ore, gold, methane and tungsten ore. ... In 2010, the country's tantalum production accounted for 15% of the global tantalum production, peat increased by 10% and tin increased by 46%.

    • @pepeinno1747
      @pepeinno1747 3 года назад +1

      Keep dreaming! This country switched from French as education and administration language to suit the new ruling class that came from anglophone Uganda. Why do you then think that a country run on narcissistic principles can thrive? Rwanda supposedly is an easy place for business but still, no real investment follows. Why? Because it is unpredictable and poor. The human development index is the lowest in the region. GDP per head the same story despite huge aid, despite the country's constant looting of Congo minerals. Dictators don't build sustainable economies. They offer advantages to foreigners for publicity but go ask Rwandans, they have nothing and live in fear.

      @@dr.harnet466 Ridiculous to compare Rwanda with Botswana! Rwanda's richest man is probably Rujugiro. His mall in the city was seized unlawfully and even after the East Africa court ordered the government to return it he is still frustrated. That will depend on which kind of business you want to start. Consider also that when you want to come to invest in Rwanda you have to know other expenses that you have to plan for.
      Like food quite cheaper, housing which is moderate compared to other EAC cities and some other costs.
      Contact me for details if you are interested to come to start a business in Rwanda at mevivaldi@gmail.com or whatsapp me @ +250722663289

      Rwanda is pretty poor, GDP per head below 800 dollars and a population under 12 million. What do you expect from this combination?

    Thank you Doctor, you can as well tell people to invest in the oil rich country like Nigeria. In the South Eastern part of Nigeria there is a lot of investment opportunities for foreigners especially in the areas of oil and gas, agriculture, education, hotels, healthcare and real estate. Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Asaba are the states in the Eastern part of Nigeria where there is opportunities for these investment portfolios. Government of Ebonyi is allocating 12 Million Dollars into Agriculture in this 2019. Come and invest .. .
