      RWANDA IS A DISGRACE TO THE AFRICAN CONTINENT.
      Everything you see there is the BLOOD OF MILLIONS & millions of innocent CONGOLESE PEOPLE.
      Everything here is from the sale of stolen minerals from CONGO: COLTAN, COBALT, GOLD, DIAMOND, LITHIUM, PETROL etc... for the past 25 years.
      RWANDA is nothing but a puppet of the colonizers(UK, FRANCE, EU & USA) who fund RWANDA'S government & M23 army/militia to maintain the wars in the DRC.
      That is the reason why RWANDA is so loved by the WEST.

    While I’m happy for Rwanda’s ambition to become the air cargo hub of Africa, it’s still not going to be a walk in the park for them! Right now, Ethiopia Airlines has the biggest and best air cargo network in Africa and Kenya Airways is working tirelessly to claim the top spot in air cargo handling! In fact, in a 2021 report by the Airport Council International showed that JKIA handled 363,204 tonnes of cargo in 2021 leading all the other airports in Africa in total cargo traffic! The only downside is that KQ hasn’t invested in cargo airplanes ✈️ to take advantage of this great opportunity thus losing a significant share of the cargo market to other airlines in Africa!

    • @ricardoortizqomboc2184
      @ricardoortizqomboc2184 9 месяцев назад

      Having cargo planes is good and it is also good to be ambitious but at the same time any country which wants to be cargo hub must consider other factors, catchment area, customer countries apart from domestic cargo, they might find themselves working for Qatar Airways which will be less beneficial to them but I wish them all the best, if they succeed...East Africa succeeds, keep it up...Good job

    • @solomonKachi7000

      I agree with your take it will not be a cake walk! However the case for RwandaAir centers around an interesting perspective, that is of how Tanzania is beefing up the attractiveness of its Ports in competition with Kenya's Mombasa port. In addition the the SGR being built from Tanzania's Dar es Salaam port thru land connecting it to DRC, Burundi and Rwanda. There remains a bulls case for RwandAir, in a way that Ethiopia does not have. Perhaps if Kenya continues to reminisce on past greatness instead of remaining focused we will see an overtake in the East African air cargo space?

      @@solomonKachi7000Kenya airways just announced they are going to acquire more cargo planes.. More berths are being built at the port of Mombasa, this includes a free port which will be a game changer for the region. So I don't think Kenya is sleeping. But I hope Rwanda continues to grow exponentially, healthy competition is always good for the region..

      @fidha254 Next year Somali Airlines will relaunch and a new big airport being built in Mogadishu.. with all the ports Somalia has and is building do you think in the future they would become a big air cargo player too? Because in the sea they clearly will lead in Africa 🌍

    • @fidha254
      @fidha254 9 месяцев назад

      @@theancientsancients1769 It's only logical that the bigger the economy the more cargo you will import/export, Even if Kenya did not have Kenya Airways, other international airlines will be serving the businesses from Kenya. Kenya has built the logistical infrastructure right from farmlands to pre processing, cold rooms, labs to the air and sea port, it will take years for Somalia to outmatch that. But I wish Somali good luck and I do hope they grow to become real contenders the way they were back in the 60s and 70s.. They had the biggest airforce in Eastern Africa and one of the largest in Africa..

      The situation in Congo is Congo's responsibility to fix. The Congolese President is totally ineffective and devoid of ideas to successfully run a country as massive as the DRC. When you have leaders who enter politics solely to enrich themselves, you as a people need to force them into the business sector and elect visionary and competent leaders like Kagame. The DRC joining the EAC was supposed to allow the country to thrive; Instead, the President continues to point fingers and blame Rwanda, Kenya, and Uganda for his country's problems. With more than 120 armed rebel groups, Congo needs to get busy with an effective military/security enhancement plan and kick out all non-African peace-keeping groups who only serve to exacerbate its security issues. This is false. Rwanda's GDP in 2022 was 13.3 billion USD with a population of 13.2 million people, with a GDP per capita of 1,004 USD. This places it in the same general category as Ethiopia, Uganda, and Tanzania, and significantly better than the DRC, which has the most natural resources in Africa. So many Western countries have been looting DRC's resources for decades and the Congolese people only seem to complain about Rwanda's looting. If any country is to exploit the DRC's natural resources it should be an African country anyway. At least Rwanda is developing its nation as an example for all African countries to follow.

    • @alliancend7467
      @alliancend7467 9 месяцев назад +1

      I wish you could tell me which other country’s destabilizing DRC other than Rwanda! In 1997-98, Rwanda supported the military coup with their own soldiers that overthrew the president. In 2000s, they operated under multiple militias using their own Rwandese soldiers to continue looting our lands and killing our people. Now that we have a real leader, let’s see where this ends. If you think it’s morally correct to murder millions of your African counterparts for financial gains to serve the Western countries, then you are not resolving the African stigma of poverty. You are perpetuating the cycle of slavery. Despite all these, DRC is among the fastest growing economies in the world with almost 7% GDP growth in 2023 and a projected growth of 8% GDP in 2024. In real numbers, 2024 is projected to almost double our current GDP of $70 Billion. Let’s see who’s laughing last.

      @@Izzy_B241 Imo Kenya is losing its competitiveness because its economy is strangled by high taxes while its that money is spent in debt servicing/corruption. Meanwhile it is not investing in its port or railway cargo infrastructure nor investing in cargo planes. So I do see the case for RwandAir competing to become an air cargo hub. Kenya's weakness is it has become a sleeping rabbit reminding itself of 'poor' neighbors who are catching up quicker than expected.

      @@solomonKachi7000 listen Rwanda has small country problems and it’s chief problem is that it has to trade to make a difference a country like Kenya does things to boost its domestic efficiency and larger powers tend to want to be self sufficient and the same is true for rwandas neighbors they will want to build their own capacity which will cut into rwandas share. The reason the northern corridor is so efficient is cause ke gov wanted to increase efficiency for Kenyan businesses first the rest benefited as a result Rwanda works the opposite you can’t sink large cost’s without consulting your neighbors and that’s a disadvantage in fragmented markets

      @@Izzy_B241 Tanzania is building an SGR (standard gauge railway) connected to their Dar port all the way thru to Rwanda also connecting Burundi and DRC.
      It is already faster for items in Tanzania to reach Rwanda. You spoke of European customers well Tanzania has a vast arable land even feeding Kenya. If those were to be flown out of Rwanda to Europe then what?
      The cooperation between non-Kenyan members of the EAC is evident as well with Uganda choosing Tanzania instead of Kenya for its oil pipeline to end out at Tanzania's Tanga port.
      Rwanda is building cargo facilities for a reason. I dare say there is a stronger corridor being built right under Kenya.
