Very cool. Thank yo7 for providing all the files and info. I loved the gearbox and you explanation of how it worked. What filament did you use for prinytng the parts? PLA?
Wonderful design and build. On the electronic side I can't help but feel an Arduino Mega is a bit dated for a modern project. For a next build you should explore toward ESP32s, the S3 with his fast dual core, integrated WiFi and Bluetooth would open your options. Over the Air firmware Update and WiFi control + advanced monitoring being at the bottom of the list ...
Try enclosing the printer to resolve your warping issue. It's likely it has more to do with temperature variations in the room than anything else. Awesome build :)
Your new design is great! I'm still working on a modified version of your former design with a turret and it's so nice to see that you have kept on improving this RC tank 👍
Hi Dan great project I am requesting you for the second version of the diy rc transmitter with better joystick and a faster processor etc Would great love all your projects
11:50 The surface of the printed parts for the main body doesn't look good. Three layers don't look consistent. Even some gaps? Doesn't speak for the quality of that printer.
👍👍👍👍👍
Very nice Dan 👍
Very nice project
amazing work
amazing build
Pretty awesome stuff.
Seems really good, thx.
Very neat work, Bravo!
Can you make a 1/4 sale RC model of the mars spirit/opportunity rover?

Great video. Thank you for sharing.
круто, надо повторить в человеческом масштабе
😍😍😍
Impressive work, thanks for sharing your project!
Loved the design and the content, I was wondering what tools you use to produce such clear wiring diagrams. Thanks 🎉
Very cool project and video! Thank you!

this is high quality content.

Great job designing all that!
I am halfway through building your last tank.
Can't wait to build this one too.
How much bigger is this Tank compared to the last one?
Great job designing all that!,thanks for sharing your project!
Awesome! So much love in the design. So simple and elegant. Great home project!
Lately been looking for a good design that is SMALL and can easily fit into our hand.
Then not make just one but MANY and program them as a group.
Your new design is great!

I'm still waiting for the top turret for last years tank???
Awesome project, as always. Must have taken ages to print and test each part, but otherwise, keep up the good work

can anyone explain to me why every youtuber seems to use arduino and motor drivers instead of actual RC ESCs?
Was that strobeing lights necessery? They look awfull and ruins video. simple leds wouldave been ok...
Weird that was your takeaway from this video.
can you make one for me? i pay you
You should warn people that you'll be using strobing lights in your video, in case they suffer from epilepsy.
