After months of learning Polish i am totally convinced that Polish is made to test people's patience. But I won't give up anyways.

To be honest the main reason why not many people are learning this language is just this language is useless, and I'm saying this as a native polish speaker. There is no other place on this planet but Poland where you can use this language, so if you're not going to live in Poland there's no point.

@@dsomgi7633 as a non native Pole, I have to say polish language is beautiful...Is La Gioconda useful??nevertheless it is great to look at ( when you can travel!) beautiful things are "useful" in a different way, they give joy...so I wish I learnt your language!

As a russian speaker i understod ca. 30-40% in this video. Yet I could assert, that in russian exists a similar word with exact Samen meanings: уже. And it sounds pretty similar: już uże.
    Chvala za video!

  • @grawl69

"Już" is exceptionally invidious, in parallel to other languages. It just gets practice to get used to its meanings, not mentioning the negatives and its relation to "jeszcze"...
But the source meaning is quite simple: it is about some time being short, in some decisive, "punctual" way. This shortness may be in the past, present, future, from the beginning, to the end, until the end, may concern the speaker's will or promise, appreciation of something being quick etc. etc.
