No one cares if they can relate to you. That's not their job. People don't relate to "other people" because they do or don't have money. Bums can't relate to rich people, so bums are bad? Middle class people can't relate to poor people, so the middle class are bad? That doesn't even make any sense.
Their job, which they're trained to do, is to judge whether the music is good or not. If there is no basis by which to say it is good or bad, then why have judges? The only reason Simon caved is because of the bimbo in the middle who said they'd listen again simply to appease the kids in the crowd. That's all.

I forgot why this guy was “famous,” and I totally forgot. It’s just a dumb song. The audience was high as a kite for this guy.
the smell of cheese makes my stomach turn. One time my mom tried to sneak cheese into my food and the moment it touched my tongue I threw up. it's not a texture issue it just my body rejects cheese the taste turns my stomach as much as the smell.

I understand what you are trying to say, but It's America's got talent, not x-factor. A lot of the best comedic singers are barely passable singers, but that's part of the charm. He's not there to pass as a singer, but as a comedy act. @@Riley0509

It's just that the judges don't have much of an eye for humor that is not conventionally presented. Like Sunny. After about the second stall, I got that the point was that the person was NEVER going to begin playing. It was a troll act.

Im sorry for being a nerd here but that is last thing the golden buzzer was implemented for. The golden buzzer is for people who amaze the whole jury and crowd with their performance and its a reward in form of going straight to the finals. If the point of golden buzzer was for one judge to overrule the others, then why would we have 4 judges to begin with.

Sometimes i think that Simon is the only one normal person there! His smile is so genuine when he is happy for someone. He's very natural and definitely has a sense of what's acceptable . Still, there must be some morality and aesthetics

The 80 year old lady dancing was amazing! I'm half her age but I wouldn't be able to do what she did without hurting myself! I work in childcare with babies. I sit down on the floor to play with them often and its always a struggle just to get back up off of the floor!😆 This lady is killing it at 80 years old! Also, I heard Heidi say after Sunny's and the karate guys' performance that they aren't funny because that's just not her kind of humor. I'd like to know just what her kind of humor is. If she didn't like the karate guys then I bet she hated the movie Napoleon Dynamite! I doubt she has even watched that movie though. 🤦🏼♀️
I have watched that video of the 80 year old lady a number of times now and it never gets old. She is so amazing . I am only in my 60s and I have difficulty even getting up the stairs in my house.

It would make such a good feel-good tale, of how you should never give up on your dreams, and talents just because society expects you to behave a certain way, when you reach a certain age. Think how well films such as Second Hand Lions, On Golden Pond, The Bucket List ... Cocoon, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Calendar Girls, and even more recently The Great Escaper did, and Paddy & Nicko could be another great tale

Having been in the entertainment industry for over 28 years, I’ve seen every act imaginable, some deserve to be there and some don’t.
Some people just can’t sing and some have zero actual talent.
It really comes down to getting in front of the right people.
If they choose to promote you, you’re golden, if they don’t, you’re not.
There are numerous “artists” who literally have no real singing voice and yet, they’re promoted as “stars”.
Then there’s people who never get a real chance and can actually sing and who have fantastic voices, it’s crazy how it works.
I love the telekinetic act of pulling out tissues. Nearly as fast as my cat.

I love number 10 so much. as a dancer myself, i wish i could have had the honour to see her perform in her prime. such a powerful display of muscle memory, there is no way this woman did not dedicate her life to the arts.
