I would panic aswell if I was in that ferray, no doubt haha But the place you guys arrived at is INCREDIBLE! Just wow 😮Putting SE Asia at my bucketlist
you lucked out. I saw the news that another ferry sank and lost everyone's luggage right before Christmas. The passengers were told to leave their luggage and that it would be transferred but it wasn't. 👃🐟
I am very happy that we managed to go to our destination without sinking, even tho it wasn’t far off… Unfortunately there has been as many as 10 boats that ended under water, mostly high speed boats that go waaay to fast in those conditions… Stay safe! 💪
I think we just were very unlucky with the weather at that time… shouldn’t be that windy normally from what we’ve heard. We would recommend Koh Tao for sure, we had a nice time there even if the weather was a disaster. Make sure to watch our next vlog to see more about Koh Tao 😀 Happy new year 🥳
First off that island group I have zero desire to ever go back to. #2 Those boats all have a dark history. Maybe next time read up on boat accidents in Southeast Asia.
@destinationsunknowntheroadsles Anything in particular that makes you not want to go back? Did you go to Koh Tao as well? Not sure if you watched the video but we didn’t take the High speed boat, speed boat nor a katamaran. And that is exactly because of all the “dark stories” and accidents that happened at the same time we were staying at the islands. We took a big ferry and thought it should be relatively “safe”, unfortunately the weather was so bad it was really rough. Next time we won’t be making such a decision for sure. Live and learn 👍
@@DanielBeyondBorders More than a few large car ferries have sunk over the last few years on those routes. Seems they ignore all the weather reports. Yea visited the islands years ago not into La La land Thailand myself. Its over rated , expensive, dangerous and fake.
Yup, we extended our stay at Koh Phangan before we took the ferry but that didn’t do it, even tho the weather conditions were supposed to be slither better… only good thing is we booked the big ferry, not a small speedboat. But like I’ve mentioned in the comments before, live and learn.

Awww...you two are such a cute couple. Keep it up and look forward to seeing your channel grow!
@Deusmonobear Thank you very much! Really appreciate your comment ❤️

ยินดีต้อนรับนักท่องเที่ยว
Given that the waves can be dangerously rough, would you recommend Koh Tao still?

Looking forward to your next Koh Tao video. Happy New Year! 🥳
Eating "food" from 7/11 is depressing enough, but on Christmas day? The first ten seconds of this are a bigger downer than "Othello."
@steverosse did you watch the whole video?
I like to say, if you don’t have what you like, you like what you have.
Love the socks haha
Came in handy during Christmas 🤣

Please tell us the story about how you managed to hurt your toe
I will try to add it in the next vlog, forgot to edit it in this one :P
hey, by any chance do you require a video editor ?
Appreciate the offer but right now there isn’t a big need for that, but maybe in the future? 😁
sure mate, let me know and all the best for your future ❤😄@@DanielBeyondBorders
Honestly, you were stupid to take the ferry when you know the conditions were bad.

Shame rough seas always there good adventure
Yeah that's really sad that the weather is like that in such a beautiful place...
Stop whinging
Live and learn 👍

@@superproxy3782 I totally agree with you, that’s what I’ve been doing for a few years now, but not only for travelling. Life in general 😉
lame
Appreciate your opinion! Might do a video when I feed lava lizards in the future instead😃
